Your white buffalo temple ring is gorgeous. I live in Las Vegas and a few months ago took a road trip to northern Nevada. In Elko, NV I found a jeweler who made me a custom silver and turquoise ring. He had three trays of stones he had purchased over 30 years ago from two local turquoise mines. I selected a 6 carat oval cabochon and we designed a ring. When people compliment me on the ring, I love telling it’s provenance: a Nevada stone set in Nevada silver crafted by a native Nevadan. So I agree with you. A piece of jewelry may be beautiful in and of itself, but the story behind it makes it even more special.

Glad to hear it! The good thing is there are a bunch of different styles one can get into-more minimalistic, rugged "biker" style, southwestern, etc. Plenty o' options.

Now you can find pure .999 jewelry like pure gold jewelry, that won't get tarnished and not soft because they are arc welded not soldered like stearling silver.
And silver is hypoallergenic and kills germs.

I'm actually trying to sell off the jewelry I have since I'm wfh and kinda don't see the point of wearing at home ...although I'm still a big miansai fan at heart
