My first bike was a C11g which I bought from Fry and Marsh, Christchurch, Hampshire for the princely sum of 25 pounds when I was 15. That's 60 years ago. I had to wait until my 16th birthday before I could venture out on the public highway.
My first bike was a C12. Travelled miles on that , my first taste of freedom. Same colour as this one. The C12 had swingingarm rear suspension.
I bought a 1953 Matchless G80 from Andy years ago. Very decent bloke, totally straight and bike is still going strong nearly 20 years later!
