Amazing how the E.U. Is stepping up now that they’ve seen the tiger they haven’t had to deal with without a giant shield. Poland has been seeing it along with former Soviet states, even France is stepping up. How can all of sudden small E.U. Countries suddenly find 2.7 million shells. Where’s Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain or Turkey?
Well, it's simple, really. We haven't maintained our stocks of ammunition and supplies, and we have closed most of the factories that make the stuff, and it will take years to build them back up. All that Europe produces is high tech expensive stuff for export, not bullets and shells. Capitalism, yay, and the peace dividend.
The UK are still there and have been from the start. We were the first to step up. We also have border issues but they don’t stop us giving aid to Ukraine We are also not in the EU! 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇦

And if russia loses f.ex. 8-9 tanks a day but can only replenish with 3-4 new (most of which are 60 y. old repaired ones) a day that's good statistics. russia is running out of equipment.
Population doesn’t matter. It is men in military age which matter.
On the other hand Russia has 1 million of anti-protest forces but if they send them to front the social unrest can happen.
Russia will not be able to sustain those losses in the long term.
