We officially have 11 versions of Vengeance Is Mine... for Radical Highway: - SA2 (Original Version) - Shadow the Hedgehog (2P vs. Battle) - Gens 3DS Act1 (Cash Cash Remix) - Gens 3DS Act2 (Circuit Freq Remix) - Gens 3DS End Roll Version - Forces (Remixed in "Enemy Territory" with Westopolis) - SXSG "Doom Zone" - SXSG "Gate Version" - SXSG Act1 (R.B.U. Remix) - SXSG Act2 (TORIENA Remix) - SXSG "Extra Remix" Edit : it's 14 in total, thanks everyone for the complementary info 👇 - Mario and Sonic Winter Games 2010 (Dream Snowboarding) - SA2's beta version - Forces' beta version of Enemy Territory
Technically 14 since there’s also the beta version of enemy territory, the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic winter games, and the demo version of the SA2 Radical Highway
15 if you count Dream Snowboard Cross from the 2010 Winter Olympics Games, the Demo Version for SA2, All 3 Doom Zone mixes you hear in Space Colony Ark, Rail Canyon, and Sunset Heights.
here's my take on the radical highway extra remix: if Chaos island has a Doom's eye section, it would have this remix. The heavy amounts of EDM and dubstep matches up the chaos island remixes very well.
gonna drop a concept of how thatd play now: shadow is grinding on the rail where the camera looks at the exploding volcano. the black doom magic appears and the chunk of land the volcano is on rises up and rapidly moves the exploding volcano closer to shadow. shadow parkours across the debris before black doom appears and forces him into the volcano where the level transitions to radical highway. 1st encounter didnt have anything that id call a special design for it, but 2 had a lot of free falling and 3 had a lot of tube level design, so this version will take place mostly in water. you surf down the highways many obstacles and traps while shadow talks with black doom shadow: ive almost got you! you cant get away forever... (little bit of level) black doom: yes shadow... come closer... (more level (just assume more level takes place in between each line)) shadow: youre not going to get away this time! black doom: but do i want to...? big final set piece of shadow gliding down a watery part of the highway. shadow dodges malfunctioning gun robots shooting projectiles everywhere and multiple pieces of debres before catching up to dooms eye and attacking him. black doom: at last... youve sealed your fate. (black doom runs away again and level transitions to just before entering the temple with the two robots) shadow: this is it... then the rest of the level plays out like normal.
I love the extra remixes and the arrange for the new Supporting Me remix (the ingame version lacks the vocals), but why ANOTHER remix for Radical Highway? Is a good theme, but we have three remixes already in this very game (that excluding the 3DS Sonic Generations remixes). I would have loved to have a Never Turn Back remix instead, for example.
Honestly, the extra remix of Vengence is Mine is far more fitting for a final level theme than what we got in the base game. It sounds far more intense and sounds like something that would really pump you up for the grand finale. The one used in game just sounds too calm and lacks energy compared to the extra remix.
Act 1 Especially, If Only They Didn't Stop The Games Final Build And Didn't Leave 6 Months Are Or What For Just Polish For The Game. They Need A Final Patch For This Game To Be REALLY Complete If They Dare Say It Is.
The Doom Zone Is The Highlight For Radical Highway, The White Space/Black Moon Hub Theme Sounds More Like They Had The Idea Of Different Boss Hub Themes Like Sonic Gens For Boss And Rival Fights. And Act 2 Is Acceptable At Best. But Both Main Level Radical Highway Songs Used In Game Just Sucks, And I'm Happy I'm Not Alone.
@Super_Cinder.Inferno Considering you technically visit Radical Highway three times before visiting it two more times as full levels makes Radical Highway more annoying and tedious as a final level. Should've been a level from Shadow 2005 instead since it had zero level representation outside Space Colony Ark which is technically more based on SA2's version.
The Album version of the Supporting Me remix causes me to transcend to a higher form of consciousness and I'm so mad that it's not the version used in game.
1 - Remake. You mean remake. A remaster would be much easier and with their current rerelease trend it might happen. 2 - I don’t mean to build up false hope, but with how heavily Shadow Generations pays tribute to the Adventure Era, and especially the Sonic Movie 3, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did end up remaking SA1/2.
@@m4c1elI mean, an idea would’ve been to make them Extra stages you could play that dont have affect the story. So I mean unless they do more DLC Stages (Free of course, or at least a dollar or two), which I doubt they will, they’ll probably forever remain songs only in the album.
I like RBU's Radical Highway, mostly for how it syncs up well with gameplay, but it would've been cool if the game ended the way it began, that is, with Teddyloid.
Are they available as obtainable songs unlocked in the game? That Radical Highway Act 1 song is so much better than the rest of the remixes they made of it...

Sadly, HedgeMod Manager doesn't support the 2024 version of _Sonic Generations_ yet. Apparently, the community is trying to automate the process of converting 2011 _Sonic Generations_ mods to work with the 2024 version.
That Vengeance is Mine remix is better than every other Radical Highway mix in the game (i mean the main level versions are kinda cheeks so its only really competing against Doom Zone anyway but you catch my drift)

It’s weird… the City Escape remix is like if the Classic Remix was a Modern Remix
Well, since we're living in a modern times, the music makes sense
the song just sounds like the classic sonics version dude
That's exactly what I was thinking.
it is a remix of classic's city escape

Actually, we have 5 Remixes, (excluding 3DS) each has a different Remix
I too yearn for a Never Turn Back remix

another remix radical highway they sure love this ost
"I just love radical highway shadow" - Black doom
"It’s just so cool" - Black Doo- I mean, Da Devil from Da Bible
1:44 "there's only one thing to do"
