It is heartwarming to see Steve has found a friend who is just as insane as he is.
I saw the hug, and thought "this relationship is definitely helping Stevie's Anxiety"
I think he's become like that after meeting Stevie our Lord is expanding
It's nice to see two sane people observed by an insane person.😂
XD
Cringe Squared.🥴
I love your guys’s guitar and car experiments. Well here’s proof how strong guitar strings really are lol
I was just thinking that last night!! This is now the 3rd video we've done incorporating guitars with cars!! 🤣
Haha it actually is tho
@@SteveTerreberry no car song about a 3 door sedan?!
@@SteveTerreberry please make more of these types of videos. It would've been hilarious if your sister/girlfriend was actually pushing the car .
@@SteveTerreberryplease make a song about a 3 door red Chevy Cavalier
Hi Stevie I just want you to know that you gained a new subscriber. I found you about week ago, and I watched half of your videos. I love your sense of humor and guitar content, also your clear accent helps me to improve my english. Keep uploading videos and don't change because you're great ❤
These two were literally made for each other.
1:54 "Yes I'm not, happens all the time" is so good lol
You guys crack me up. What a funny, entertaining video. I guessed 6 strings and your Dad guessed 20 so I was the closest. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun with this. Loved it.
How do you feel knowing you gave birth to this freakin legend
Oh Mama T.. Stop bragging just because your guess was better!! I will have you know that I changed my guess after watching the video!! 😤
Ya
Hey mama t
I d k
I didn't even really realize that 8 strings would work, Stevie T, you really put so much effort into this, keep up the good work, hope you get to 4 mill soon!
Stevie T, I have had a rough day so far but you made me very happy. I luv your vids
I would have guessed it would be wayyy more than 8. My estimate was about 20. I’m amazed at just how strong those strings are! Haha. So, I guess if I ever get stuck I’m going with Ernie Ball, then. 😂 Hope you had a great vacation and a Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦🫶
Balls are best!! We actually should've tried some different string brands... 🤔
@@SteveTerreberrygonna quote the first sentence
Yeah balls are the best
@@DravenGronoI agree 😂
Hi!
Im so glad you found someone who vibes with you. Love your content, been watching for years now. Can't wait for more
these experiments always make me laugh. I love your vids stevie! 🤘🏼
Stevie, great vid man👍🔥
I love the new found content creativity Stevie T! It's amazing what you've come up with recently!🎉🎉🎉🎉
I cannot imagine how much time, patience, and effort went into this video. Well done lads!
Stevie never fails to make my day so much better
I found your channel yesterday and watched a bunch of your videos and you had me laughing my ass off the whole time. I love when you imitate how other people play guitar and you make geeky faces. It's cracks me up. Thanks for the laughs, you definitely earned a subscription from me👍❤️
Hi, Steve! I honestly wasn’t sure any amount of guitar strings would be able to pull your car, my guess was about 100 maybe. I’m very surprised 8 did the trick! I never realized guitar strings were that strong! 😲 This was a very funny & interesting video! Have a great day! 😃
I'm with you there!! There was part of me that thought it might be over 100. I genuinely wasn't sure if guitar strings would work at all!! 😅
100 was/is a good, solid number.
Not low balling the guess but leaving nothing to chance either. "100 ought a do it"... I like your way of thinking.
I suppose when you really think about it a guitar or bass string that's tuned all the way up to pitch is holding a pretty substantial amount of tension (pounds of pressure per inch? something like that), and can usually take a good bit more before it pops
I had figured it would take about ten, but I've worked with metal (like the thing, not the music lmao) a lot in my life
I bet four normal bass strings could do it 😉
@@SteveTerreberry I honestly thought it would take 42. I was so wrong!
The real factor is it doesn't take much to pull a car in neutral along a flat road. If you've ever push started a car you'd know it doesn't take much as long as you don't have to go uphill.
I love your videos, they are hilarious and inspire me as a guitarist myself. Keep up the work and keep being funny no matter what you are told. ❤
I’m just happy that Stevie and John are being like actual besties in the video , and that when they hugged it just made me smile that was a BESTIE hug😭✨
Ok, I’ll follow him. He’s always helping you out. 🤘🏻🔥
Keep on rocking Stevie you're the man
I am a fan of Stevie T and will always be. He always finds a away to entertain people
BTW you are one of my favorite youtubers both me and my dad find you funny!!! Take Care!!!
I think your videos are great and i think you inspirational with your work and your very funny and i like how your showing us how strong guitar strings acctually are
Hilarious video as always! My guess was 12 strings! I hope you had a great vacation Steve you deserve all the happiness ❤ have a great weekend 🤗
Not a bad guess at all!! My true guess was anywhere between 0-592 strings... 😊
@@SteveTerreberry why would you steal my guess that's not very nice 😂😂
My guess was 9 lol😂
I'm so glad the quarantine is over, so people like Stevie T. can get back to doing the important work that really moves humanity forward.
Quarantine?
@@jamescuttsmusicjcm5013 You remember the pandemic shenanigans where we all hid in our homes and pretended that there was a zombie apocalypse outside.
@@bloemundude lmfao... oh.... yeah. Well... some people did. But wasnt that ages ago?
Steve, well done on the video! I was very surprised about the outcome. I actually guessed more than you did 😁 It would be awesome to see some videos about how you learned guitar, or how someone could pick it up on their own. You know, for reformed guifakists and newbies 😂
no joke steve im not seeing you on my recommended list even tho i am subscribed and i have the bell button to all. pretty weird. cause i will watch anything from you after you upload
My guess was 30... I lost! xD
Wow, I can't believe how strong those strings are!
Sorry, I know I've been a bit absent lately, but I finally feel in the mood to comment.. And I definitely did the right thing watching your video today, I feel happier now! 😊
Welcome back, Steve! Hope you enjoyed your vacation!!
No Noe... I lost. Haha! I'm glad I didn't guess higher!! Part of me thought it would take 1000 strings!! 🤣
It's no problem at all! You don't have to comment all the time. But it IS nice to see your face again!! 😁
@@SteveTerreberry🥹🥹
I was going for like 3 packs (18). I'm guessing that when you were at a set, one string probably got a lot more load at one point which caused it to snap and domino the others. I think if you braided the one set relly well before tying it up, one set would be able to do it!
Stevie T I just wanna say ur great and my 2nd favorite guitarist ever
Steve your content really makes me laugh out loud.
That's insane. I never would have thought thought it would be as low as only 8 strings
You just spoiled the whole thing for me 💀
@blumblumdanoodle9281 sorry you shouldn't have read comments before watching I guess
@@Alienated_Individual yea it’s on me..
Why not? Doesn't take that many pounds of force to push a car
@@DaP84 I bet they could have gone even lower if they had actually equalized tension.
I tried to science my guess, and was wondering what gauge strings you were going to use…. I assumed Low E, but then Bill busted out the bass strings LOL. But then you went back to guitar strings. After seeing how one worked not so much… I guessed 25. Fun stuff right here! Thank you for trying one bass string at the end, I was hoping for that!
I tried to science it as well. Didn't work. Haha! I'm terrible at estimating things though!! 🤣
That bass string was also REALLLYYYY thick!! I think it was a low B bass string. Looked like a fricken cable!! 😂
It's been a while i see this channel. Good to know Steve's videos are as insane as ever. 😂🙏
You are awesomely mental! Also, I think I listen to the Album of Epicness once a day. You weren't joking, it is totally epic! The 'your power' cover is something else too. Jokes aside, you really are a musical genius. We love ya Stevie! 😎
8:31 ooOOPS!
Wow that’s science! Ahah My guess was around 20 strings, who would have tought! That was a fun experiment, very very useful too 😂 I wonder if there will be more of these! Did you enjoy your little vacation? Hopefully you had the chance to relax and have fun with your loved ones! Have a nice weekend 🤗
So far, my guess is the highest. And now I feel like a dumb... 😩
I enjoyed my vacay very much!! I don't really "relax" mentally. Haha! But it was still nice to not have to do anything!! 🤣
@SteveTerreberry that is very relatable. I hope you are able to actually relax soon.
it's like Jim Lill's experiment, but much more unimportant. Loved it.
I guessed 10 as from what i know, guitar strings are like cables in a bridge, they're made to withstand loads of force being pulled but not pushing on the strings, but now I know if you cant tow a car using the normal way you can always get 8 ernie ball strings and that'll do the trick.
Great video as always stevie T
My guess is 35 strings, but the thick E and A strings. I think the thinners ones will snap too easily.
Edited* Well, I was wrong lol. I’m impressed that it only took 8 strings!
EMERGENCY!!! EMERGENCY!! Lil Uzi MADE A CHOP SUEY COVER AND IT'S NOT GOOD!!! EMERGENCY STEVE TERREBERRY REACTION VIDEO IMMEDIATELY!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!
they receprocate the same energy, and we love it
Oh Stevie you always have the most out there ideas.😂
I was seeing 29 strings but WOW! That is amazing! ❤️
God bless you Steve terreberry.
You are my favorite UA-camr ever!
steve’s always making good videos
my Guess was 26. Seeing This Video, I Now Understand Why It takes Stevie So Long To make Videos. Quality Over Quantity. Love It Stevie
His content is so funny me and my sister love your vids!!
I absolutely love this episode!!! Sorry, I'm just now starting John's videos. OMG I thought you cracked me up, well now you have some competition! lol Just kidding....kind of. Okay, so if I were to hang out with both of you I don't think I could contain myself. You're both fairly serious (I said fairly) I when you're building your experiments but I can only imagine what happens behind the scenes! I'd love to hang out with you guys, I can see having to change my pants more than once because I'd be pissing myself laughing so hard!!! Oh God, I just thought about the serious pain in my abs but It would be so much fun!
Watching from the Philippines, love the idea to test the durability of the strings, how about a competition between different brand of strings?
Hope you’ll make your awesome music videos again someday. Those were always the best
These videos are increasing In insanity every upload and I am all for it
That’s crazy
1 bass string or 8 guitar string 🎉❤
I always knew Ernie is the best. This is just more proof.
8:33,the laugh 😂
As soon as I saw the title of the video, I knew John was involved! 😂
Steve I am such a fan
@6:02 & 6:03 - Your friend John had a VOICE CRACK.
LOL!
This was very entertaining. My guess would have been way much higher than that, it's just the way of tying the strings that made me think.
8:32 Talk about getting into a Fender bender!😂😂 Of course though, it is a Squire.😂
To tow a car with a guitar, you only aSquire 8 strings!
Well, sometimes you make us forget how genius of a guitar player you are!
I mean, if this is the first video someone sees from you, then they're sure gonna have what you call in your words "a nippledrop" after finding out your older ones😅
I just watched an episode of 21 Jump Street. It was the 16th episode of season 3 called "High High". There are a few scenes where a guy is shredding on guitar. You should do one of your "Guifakeist" breakdowns on it. Who knows, he and Johnny Depp may have really been playing.
Finally, proper tension for your djent stick.
Ok Stevey Beast 😮
You could’ve just bunched the strings together before looping it onto the hole of your car🤣. Tension would be more equal. Fun and entertaining video as slways
The EA reference was the icing on the cakeicles in this video🤣🤣
7:52 Noooooooo wayyyy you got Zebra Jumping Spiders in Canada too hahaha. I got in Poland on my house and they are suuuuper cute. Just move your finger close to it and you gonna see how cute is it watching your finger hhaahahah
Hey Stevie T
I thank you and Mr. Dines to come to a lead guitarist I am today as a side gig on weekends
#Djent
Contractor and electrician here with cancer
#neverstop!
😂😂 awesome! No wonder Archspire rock them 8 strings😮
I appreciated your jab at EA 😅
😮Wow I didn’t expect 6 🎸 strings work
Didn’t know you were a Car Guy Stevie! McClaren?….. Good taste!
this is probably the most funniest guitarist channel I've ever watched. If your looking for something funny to watch and your a guitarist, watch him
Hey Steve! I love your videos and had an idea for a video. If you could someday make a video that’s like your How to Be videos for new 3 chord pop country like Zach Bryan
Hey steve I cant watch you without seeing blue shirt guy from free Guy Ryan Reynolds your an excellent guitarist and comedian I keep watching and always entertained
You should make a how to be hair metal. I would love to see that! :)
This one hurt the string boilers to watch lol 😂😅
This new, taking guitars and doing stupid stuff outside with them series, is, amazing lol. And lets also just say, best Ernie Ball commercial ever lol. (edit) - ok Steve already called the commercial idea. That's what I get for commenting before fishing the video haha
This was fun
It would be fun to watch a Smarter Every Day take of this. With science, a predicted result, then the real experiment and the comparison.
"I'm gonna go with 25, exactly in the middle....". Exactly in the middle between 50 and zero. Genius.
No one can stop Stevie T to becoming Top Gear!
8 strings, I guessed it right! I mean, what else would be more epic and memeworthy? 😄
Power duo
You gyus are kurs. Thanks
You 2 are a "team" now huh, ........rockin , with a c....in
I'm going with 8 to 10 strings, and reason for my educated guess, breaking strength on 3/16" steel cable is around 550 pounds or so (I'm familiar with steel cable and wire rope from working in the drilling industry), and assuming cars in neutral and nothing's locked up or any incline, that should be sufficent force to get it to roll.
I've actually repaired carparts with guitarstrings.Hahahah. It's all in the clamping it in the right way.
You guys showed us mechanix, you don't know a lot about cars or basic physics without telling us.
Must've been a fun day, though... ;)
2 bass B(5) strings !
So mister McLaren is still rocking the knock off vans “WHAT ARE THOSE” lol
Hmmm...my guess would depend on if you can braid them and how well they're attached. More information is required.
8:33 this laugh will be a meme one day 😄
Maybe you should try ukulele strings now. I love your vids btw :)
I love the irl vids
The world needed to know
My guess was 4 before you started, but with all the strings braided together so they were all pulling instead of one or two pulling the load.
I quite literally NO bullshit said out loud to myself 6 low E Strings 😅 and Dan said it and I was like HA! 😂
I was guessing a hundred 🤣🤣
