I don’t get how they put Sam in Ghost Recon Wildlands, Breakpoint, and Rainbow Six Siege after all of these years but they refuse to make another Splinter Cell game.
What's cheaper, guarantees fanboyism keeps customers and prevents them from risking bringing back such an ancient franchise that may or may not be profitable?

they are working on something for SC and MI, between a remake and possibly something else. Also I doubt any new game would be a "modern" game considering Ubisoft clearly learned their lessons with AC and GR

One day, I would like to see the elite team say it is too late for the ordinary security team and get very surprised. Just imagine gunfire and screaming just for a security guard to run in so he could inform everyone that there was an attack but it failed and everything is fine. Followed by him wondering what Rainbow team is doing there.

Not gonna lie. I am legitimately impressed that this game is still going. Relatively strong almost 10 years later. Now I understand that. Unfortunately a whole Lotta bad crap has happened and in many ways the game isn’t the same anymore. But regardless it’s still impressive.

Unfortunately, that also has a negative effect. Specifically, anyone who becomes a new player will basically have probably the worlds worst experience getting into it.

Lived for almost 10 years and saw 3 completely different player types (could be at a fourth for all I know).
They couldn't stick with the OG vision and kept only listening to the "pro" players and streamers.
Tho they're finally dragging it into the mud with the newer skins I've seen around on socials. The Fortnite phase.

Deimos really forgot about the Rook ressurect LMAO
In the lore, Deimos thoroughly tested that his revolver's ammo would pierce rook plates, but when Rook found this out, he actually upgraded his armor plates to withstand Keres' Legion's special ammo. This is why Deimos didn't bother double tapping rook, he assumed his first shot killed him instantly.
I miss Splinter Cell. I remember playing the demo in GameStop when I was 12 years old. Love all the series...

I never got to experience the Splinter Cell series...but now I want to. The fact everyone is saying "IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER" just proves Ubisoft isn't really understanding the asset they have now. That, and the fact Deimos was like, "Nothing will save Rainbow" is telling.

Tired of people saying "Rookie mistake, Sam should have never popped out in front of a mirror," so keep this in mind and re watch the Sam fight from 1:05 (Rook getting shot):
1. The first thing you should notice, before Rook collapses, is what the "mirror" is. It isn't a Mira, nor anything really reflective (or at least translucent); it isn't an actual mirror. Deimos spotted Sam from a cupboard window, which usually is quite transparent. It is also cracked, meaning less opportunity for Sam to be spotted until the kill. Cupboard windows are, also, usually pretty thin, as well as single-layer which means it is harder for people to see the reflection out of the glass.
2. Deimos is potentially distracted by reloading his pistol, and going on with his constant rambling about "Rainbow's gone soft", so is quite unlikely to see Sam in this window. He also has the eyes of his mask tinted to conceal his face, meaning that he probably wouldn't see as well in night conditions. Compare this to Rook or Doc's face shields that they wear to protect their faces, which are clear; and you can see how Deimos would have difficulty seeing sometimes. Another quick point about this is that the eyes would also likely be a bit thick to make them bulletproof, like (again) Rook's and Doc's shields which are thick to protect them from shots.
3. Until after the capture of Deimos, no one knew if Deimos was a terrorist leader (for example a former White Mask, who would have seen Rainbow operations carried out; remember, the White Masks dissolved already, meaning that there were likely still likeminded individuals living amongst everyone) with large skills, or if he actually was a former Rainbow operator, and those former Rainbow operatives would probably notice finer details (like Glaz currently does, for example) and a terrorist wouldn't notice as much.
So, please, don't say "rookie mistake".

What's seriously annoying is that the operators don't feel real. The attitude, names, and appearance don't look realistic. Especially compared to older Tom Clancy universe games.
It seems to be a universal trend in modern millitary games in general.
