- Nnanna(Chinwetalu Agu) despises his wretched brother(Clem Ohameze) so much that his wife(Patience Ozokwor) never give his wife a breathing space.This led to the death of his brother leaving his poor wife(Kate Henshaw) and child helpless until Nemesis caught up with them.

This movies brings back memories.. it was acted in my family compound 20 years ago.. my brother was born when they were still shooting the movie and he is in medical school now.. remember hiding from the camera men and admiring Kate Henshaw.. I was thinking of my grandma and great grandma (both late now) that was why I came to watch the movie..

this movie was so emotional for me...i watched it till like 2 am..families can be so wicked sometimes.
This movie gave me a headache because of the wickedness in it. To think that there are people going through similar situation now is so frightening and it takes only the grace of God to wait for God's time when one is wrongly accused and constantly abused and denied one's right. Well acted.

this movie is more than a decade. but whever i watch it, i always go in tears. chiwetalu agu might be wicked, but he's the man of the movie.
This movie tells the complexities of life and family intrigues in Igboland. The story line is superb and well executed. God is great. Thanks.

wow. good movie, people are very wicked, even ones family can do such? This movie brought back bitter memories of the abuse I went thru as a child by my own family. Not in africa as i am black american. But right in camden alabama. so I thank God that he was with me even then, and im here now. I thank God that thru all the pains I have been able to be a good mother to my own children as my own mother was wicked to me.

Agu and patience were supposed to be paid well for these roles; this is ressons people have this kind feelings of resentment towards them. They play real wicked roles in movies

Why someone would treat their fellow human being like that is beyond me. The lack of love, this man has for his brother is horrible. Things like this are really sad.
Gosh I can't stop crying, it a pity how wicked and heartless people can be. The ending was a tear of joy, whom God have destined is destined forever. Thnx guys for bringing this movie on UA-cam.

Hi, well I wouldn't necessarily put it in that manner. Africa is a vast Continent with different countries and very diverse traditions, so what you normally see on tv is not the exact representation of the whole 'African tradition'. People react to such situations differently, but we thank God that He is always with us. :)

I believe someone thought her cry was pretty or something..... every time she cried it was like dragging Nails over a Blackboard. She seems so weak and pathetic. When I was a young girl I would have beat that man down to the Dust.

Nice. Stories aren't always far removed from reality. Re: comments about the daughter crying. Tears do not make one criminal. Some are just very emotional in real life. Some are really evil in life. Evil is criminal. No doubt about it!
