The real bad person was the Chiegozie man. He pushed her into something she didn’t want to do, ran away and told her not to tell anyone. He could have visited, sent money or something to support her but he just left her to face the shame alone
He could have even informed his parents and done even a small bride price payment before going. As if pregnancy is not already heavy for two people, left the poor girl to carry it alone in such a hostile community. Thank God she didn't die

Angry and sad even to the extent of dropping the baby on the ground under the sun just for her to go and fetch water. I expected her anger to subside cuz of the baby.
The girl was wrong too at least tell your own mother who's responsible for your pregnancy..is not easy for her too. She did what she supposed to do just to see if she can talk but she went a bit far. Nice movie guys 👍

I had a friend who hit her daughter when she was 4 years old bcuz she turned off a tv that was in reboot and the slap was so severe the baby was sick with fever, headache and vomiting for a whole week...she couldn't take the child to the hospital bcuz where I live doctors and nurses don't want to hear what or why they call the police at the slightest thing they consider abuse (we can hardly spank children again) so google was her doctor and she was watching the child while cooking story to tell if she had to go the hospital but the symptoms coincided with someone who had a mild concussion, one colleague was supporting her when narrating the story at work but when I looked into the whole thing I turned to her and asked her what if it was more serious and she had killed the child??
No answer...she would be in prison today if it was something else
The point I am trying to make is children must learn to face the consequences of their actions but it mustn't be that we should bury them when they still have a chance at life....Getting pregnant outside of wedlock is a disappointment yes but it is only tomorrow that knows who will wear the crown and it is tomorrow alone that knows the treasures it holds

I agree with you. This should have been a case of both parties apologizing to each other. Her mother wronged her but she first wronged her mother and she should have tried to see things from her mothers angle. It is well, none of us are perfect.
