    The reason why I like Nigeria it's because the businesses and major companies are owned by them not Europeans or Arabs Nigerians need to be more proud of their efforts. Now with that being said, this is a very beautiful and well organized city great job my black brothers and sisters I am inspired.

    Beautiful video that threw a lot of memories for me. I served in Enugu between 2003-04. I was posted to Government House and spent my 1 year living within the Government House premises. I remember a lot of the areas; Independence Layout, Nza street just after the government house (I think the late Ikemba used to have a house on that street), New Haven, IMT junction, Nkpokiti, Ogui road, ESBS, Polo etc etc. The place has changed pleasantly. While you drove past the gate, I tried to peek to see where sometimes we'd go in the morning to buy beans to eat with bread :). I can't thank you enough for this video. My last visit to Enugu was in 2005. I really feel nostalgic about the video and hope to visit to see this beautiful town once again!!!

    My love for this city is never ending, the organization in Enugu is one of a kind, busses don't stop where it isn't a buss stop, their roads has those night enhancements devices. Very clean, I went to Caritas University there.

      My Edo compatriot, this lovely city put us to shame in Benin. I'm both happy for the Igbo people of Enugu and very furious with our leaders and elders in Benin who have so badly let us down. I don't blame you for relocating to Enugu. Given the chance, anybody would chose Enugu over Benin. But You and I now have a responsibility to do something about our own city. Benin can become like Enugu if you and I and every Edo person decide to turn the place around.

    Nice one, But it will be nice if you also show the numerous BAD roads in Enugu, most of them are impassable and needs dualisation too. This is the reason for the unnecessary traffic that frustrates everyone in Enugu now. Some states are constructing flyovers and I know Enugu can do better if they want to. Most times we must learn to tell people in authority the truth so they can do better. Thank God for Sullivan Chime who beautified Enugu during his tenure. We are still hopeful.👍

      @@angelhighlight5154 Open drainage isn't too expensive to construct, as you know they'll always love the cheapest construction alternative so as to have enough fund left to bag after. Nevertheless, you should not compare the European countries' drainage system to that of Africa as they are not of the same weather. It will take a lot of work to run gutters underground in Africa because of rainy season. If you should apply the type of drainage system you have in Europe to Africa without considerate modification in design, flood will wipe away the whole city before a single rainy season gets passed.

    • @henryokoye1014
      @henryokoye1014 3 роки тому +3

      @@aaronjacy That's just a lame excuse. This type of drainage was what the colonial masters started us with. Unfortunately, we have no good governments that have not moved away from such cheap and dirty system.
      Part of the problem is the issue of refuse collection which is lacking and therefore prone to clogging up the gutters. It becomes a problems for the governments because if they close the gutters, they will be forced to have a system to clean them out, they will be forced to institute a well centralized and organized waste management system which means less money for them to embezzle.

      @@henryohams8035 talk about our glorified village called Owerri. There's a reason most imo indigenes are moving in their millions to Onitsha and Awka but you can't find anyone from Anambra or even Enugu going to live in the shithole called Owerri. Onitsha and Awka are like London compare to Owerri and every part of Imo state. Presently imo state is a failed state and Owerri is the worst and most backward state capital in SE and SS. The places many people are running from NIGERIA to go and visit, people make those places to be what they are. So let's make Nigeria a place that people will love to come and visit
