Just stumbled upon your channel whilst browsing through car stuff (trying to narrow down a mental car to buy from watching vids of what other people like). Now I'm an old guy, (nearly 53 !! ) The first video was this one, Why Bbother? which made me watch it (dont know why but it did) and the second vid it showed me was the one of your wedding but I let it run, out of curiosity and was quite supprised with how much I liked it, you both looked wonderful and happy and the drifting was a great touch lol. I wish you both all the best for the future and I just subscribed. Now you must excuse me as I have all your videos to catch up with :)
Adam LZ you are the coolest guy I watch on UA-cam I love your car and BMX and I also would love to have a 240 for my first car or second, but anyway your a great UA-camr and one of my favorites, I love to watch your videos they are very entertaining and keep up the good work on UA-cam, stay positive about drifting and bmx tricks. From Dylan
I'm so glad to see you and Nicole being busy, you guys are really successful, and personally, 3 years ago I couldn't have seen you living in this huge house, a great drift car, and the skatepark in the backyard. It's only uphill from now. Most of your viewers and I wish you and Nicole the best of luck
I respect that you want your car built properly and reliably. I love how much detail you put into your car, it really is an art. Continue on making maad skids!
I have never been much of a car person, I have always been into motorcycles or anything on 2 wheels really. But I find myself oddly addicted and enjoying watching everything you do to your cars. So much so that even though my Dad and I didn't have much of a father son relationship when I was a kid I find myself hanging out and wanting to help more while he is restoring his truck (48 Ford).
By the way, you can remove the air bubbles in vinyl. Using an Exacto knife or safety pin, poke a teeny hole and flatten the bubble. The tiny hole is FAR less noticeable than an air bubble.
Pretty drift cars are cool, but missiles also have their place. Grassroots, or someone who works those few extra hours of overtime every week just to afford to get out there on the weekend should have no shame in their car because at least they are out on the track doing it. If you have the time and the funds to have a nice drift car, more power to you!
Adam, it doesn't matter what other people think of your car, if you are happy with it and you take pride in it, that's all that matters. That is one thing that I learned when I first started driving/modifying cars.
The S13 brought me to your channel Adam. I am a huge fan of these cars and drifting and you inspired me to actually start drifting my S13, Thanks for all you do!
some people be like: "you don't do all the work yourself? You're a fake carguy, you can't do sh*t" "what do you drive?" "i'm 11 so i don't have a car but i'm gonna buy a GTR as first car and liberty walk it myself"
You are literally living my ideal life right now, it seems so hard and far away to achieve because I'm only 18 but seeing you live the way you do and so young makes it all seem a little more obtainable
i understand and respect where you coming from and im my opinion being there understanding what they are doing and whats going on when you leave your car at the garage is very important because you never know you might learn something you never knew before
honestly I didnt really like the kit on your car at first but after a while I started to like it but I'm really happy to see what you have planned for this car and everything else in the future
miata always, cheap and reliable. should have money left over to do things to the car yourself. just my opinion though, miata are so common in the drifting scene.
MrYamaHashi what are you looking for you can buy a miata,240sx,e36, anything really rwd and manul it can be automatic but it's harder to drift in automatics
I give you props for knowing your limits and get help where you need it. Too many people think they can do everything and it ends up really screwing something up or even end fatally. I mean, at least if you build your own house you constantly have inspectors in making sure what you're doing is proper and safe, when working on a car you don't have that reassurance nesessarily. 3DMachines showed the perfect example of this the other day when he changed his tires and they weren't torqued properly and caused quite a bit of damage to his truck
+CORRUPTxLATIN you would have to fix a lot of things, engine is good you can make it legal anywhere just passing smog 😉 but it has lot of unsafe street mods. I have sure seen s15s around the us just not in Cali (; if that helps.
chris nava true but I mean I figure since he has a cage and the harnesses it would be fine but I'm pretty sure to pass inspection I would have to do a lot of things lol if ever do buy it lol which will probably never happen
I totally get you when you talk about having other people work on your stuff when you have the ability to and have it done right. When Forrest was at FD Orlando I got to talk to him and see his car. It really is beautiful, just like his other practice one (I think) and his black street car. Literally all done to perfection. One day I hope mine will get to those standards. Great video bro, cant wait for this 2jz build!
At the end of the day Adam your car is your car. I can appreciate what you have done to it and see the enjoyment you get out of it is very inspiring. it is amazing with what you do with your life and you bing a smile to my face every day and give me motivation to turn a bad day in to a good day and I really thank you. make you car how you want it because at the end of the day it is your car and people will appreciate that. good luck with the engine and the ramps in the back yard can't wait to see them both finished.
If you were to do this build yourself it would take you ages cause of all the things you have to juggle in your every day life. Not to mention the amount of people wanting you to film it. You are a very busy person. It's not like you don't work on them at all you have a lot of knowledge about it. From the outside looking in it just seems like time and schedule plays a main factor as to why it is left to professionals. Keep up the good work man. 👍🏼
There's a difference from not building your car and the phrase "bought not built". At least Adam puts effort into his car and doesn't just go to a shop asking for them to build a good drift car. I have no problem with how he manages his cars. He at least knows what is in his car and how they work. He decides what goes into it. He also doesn't just write a fat check for a crazy car, but instead builds it similarly to anyone else who works on their car. On top of my respect for him and his cars, I also respect him not getting a big head and getting all cocky from his recent fame unlike another certain youtuber.
Don't pay much attention to others in regards to others helping with the build. It takes a village to build a car right. No one person can do everything. I know this with my 240 build. I send parts out to the powder coater, a machine shop did the bottom end of my block, head specialist ported my cylinder head, body guy did the paint etc etc. Everyone has their specialty, it's your car, do it how you want it done. You're the composer :)
Your 240 is so sick Adam, keep making it more beautiful and functional. Drifting is all about Style man! Forrest Wang is the definition of Style! Thats things gonna be crazy with a built 2j. Cant wait to see it!
I'm sure you have already thought of this but just in case, welding a thick bar or rod at the top of your lift linking the towers together would help with them wanting to cave inward with added weight. Would have to be a sturdy bar though!
One of the best drivers at Gatebil last year recked his $120 000 2jZ GT86!! Damn.. He is building a new one now, so I really hope he will get it ready for the 2017 season!
a tip for the bubbles on the clear wrap. poke it with a pin and go over it with a heat gun. just dont go to hot and burn it. but it will clear it all up nicely
honestly understand what you mean adam and im happy that you like your car the way it is right :) just ignore the haters or ignorant people who say you cars sucks and do what you want to do with it
Adam there's an easier way to install that 3m vinyl, get some water and soap (i think 3m actually recommends baby shampoo), spray it on the surface, then put the vinyl on the soapy surface and with a squeegee, push the soapy water out from under the vinyl. It sounds kinda tricky but its super easy and allows you to move the vinyl around without it sticking, then just push the soap out and it goes on perfectly smooth.
use a hairdryer when putting clear coat on bars that's what I did on my cage adam it makes it more pliable and gets rid of bubbles but obviously only for a split second.
You should get a roof rack or rooof basket just for events, could put tires and tools strapped down and even your bike, that way the beautiful trunk stays looking fresh
Sorry, I just realized afterwards that you did turn them around... Lol I'm so jealous of your 240. Ive been looking for a good one for quite some time now. Nice paint job on the interior.
Forest Wang is coming to Tasmania, Australia in February and drifting! Some things are better off left to the pro's. I thought stroking/rebuilding the 2j was a bit over the top. Just get it in there at stock boost and that's more than enough power and reliability. I like the paint scheme.
I like that drifting can be for all even if you dont have a big budget and a big team and sponsors and it bring people together and share in the fun and love of cars and the way people help eachother share experiences and tips. Be happy and have a lot of fun with friends and make new ones you only live once so make it a fun time dont get stuck on things you can not change.
the feels are real about having other people work on cars. I have a 93 intrepid that was given to me by my grandma and it means the world to me she always took it to the same dealer she bought it from and as a result I always go to the Dodge dealership because I know they know the car because they have been there for years and will respect that my car is in pristine condition... I can do most work on cars I've done engine swaps brake jobs head gaskets and almost every thing in between it's just I'd rather let pros take care of what means alot to me
IM COMING OVER TO PLAY WITH THE RC CAR ON THE RAMP
Taylor Ray yea do it and get him to drift with tanner fox gtr vs 240
Taylor Ray hey Taylor can you say hi to me?
corvette smh lol jk
Taylor Ray yes I want to see that happen
Taylor Ray you and Adam should get into RC racing. You'll love it
I'm jealous of your backyard...
3DMachines holy crap why are you here I watch your vids and their great
3DMachines lol just came here for ur I just broke down video :)
3DMachines have a meet up when your BMW is done and take your crazy cart
3DMachines you should've met up with Adam when u were in Florida
Meat up with Adam

An Old Man Plays awesome!! my first video was broken cranks can't stop us
my first video was when he broke his space bars I wonder if he got that apology
I'm so glad to see you and Nicole being busy, you guys are really successful, and personally, 3 years ago I couldn't have seen you living in this huge house, a great drift car, and the skatepark in the backyard. It's only uphill from now. Most of your viewers and I wish you and Nicole the best of luck
If it was my car, I would change one thing,... the color
To teal.
CapnFlappyJaw no
CapnFlappyJaw it would look nice with the cage thoo
Skyline Studios RC I think the color is "artistic"
the color makes it stand out
I respect that you want your car built properly and reliably. I love how much detail you put into your car, it really is an art. Continue on making maad skids!
Alberto's accent is honestly awesome😂
I have never been much of a car person, I have always been into motorcycles or anything on 2 wheels really. But I find myself oddly addicted and enjoying watching everything you do to your cars. So much so that even though my Dad and I didn't have much of a father son relationship when I was a kid I find myself hanging out and wanting to help more while he is restoring his truck (48 Ford).
Why does Alberto always seem so nervous or talk in a low voice?
or is it just me...
The Jordan He's just a little socially awkward around the camera.. Also because English isn't his first language.
talking in front of a camera knowing thousands of people are gonna watch you isnt as easy as adam makes it look
The Jordan he's gotten way better on camera since the first time seeing him tho
He reminds of Hila from H3H3. He's most likely Israeli too.
Alberto is definitely not israeli
Damn, Adam. The progress you've made...
*Respect*
By the way, you can remove the air bubbles in vinyl.

100%
was that a hickey on your neck sir? xD
Adam LZ i need you help i have a rotor rx7 but i dont know what to do ,do a body kit or not?and if a body kit what kinda
who gives a shit it if it was
d
Adam, it doesn't matter what other people think of your car, if you are happy with it and you take pride in it, that's all that matters. That is one thing that I learned when I first started driving/modifying cars.
The only thing I don't like is the red buckets, I think black would look so much cleaner with the other colors
austin SOLO nah
would look generic
Kanggoo there's nothing more generic than red seats. besides red brake calipers.
you know I think bright pink would sute it really nice ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
agreed

Honest Adam is life goals.
Timothy Reth same
i understand and respect where you coming from and im my opinion being there understanding what they are doing and whats going on when you leave your car at the garage is very important because you never know you might learn something you never knew before

honestly I didnt really like the kit on your car at first but after a while I started to like it but I'm really happy to see what you have planned for this car and everything else in the future
I came for the car, I stayed for Nicole... she's a cool dude
Elvuh Akbar ahahaha
I agree with you adam, its far less impressive to see a beat up s13 slide. But when a master piece does it, something is so graceful about it.
Hey guys what's a good first car I wanna go sideways 4000$ max (Canadian)
e36 is best bang for buck slides
miata always, cheap and reliable. should have money left over to do things to the car yourself. just my opinion though, miata are so common in the drifting scene.
Constantlyy high to expensive were I live... Like 8000 not sure how much usd tough
MrYamaHashi what are you looking for you can buy a miata,240sx,e36, anything really rwd and manul it can be automatic but it's harder to drift in automatics
MrYamaHashi you could go Miata 240sx or e36
I'm so impressed by your house, cars just everything. If England wasn't such highly costly things would be nicer. Beautiful house Adam
In America do you guys ever call the "hood" a bonnet like Australia???
Dylan Rooney arabs do😁
And truck, pickup and ute
Honestly my favorite channel. Started watching when you started posting learning to drift videos
8:29 Adam's real voice behind autotune
lmao what was that hahaha
Māris Sedlenieks No Bass Boost On The Audio HaHa, Not being rude... I love your channel but, you sound like a kid 😂😂👌

Mayby you dont care but have a good day :)

I give you props for knowing your limits and get help where you need it. Too many people think they can do everything and it ends up really screwing something up or even end fatally. That's a typical American breakfast, a lot of fat and sugar. how can you have a productive day after that ?
+void habit it was lunch, and we normally eat pretty healthy
Adam LZ we all eat helth. Right
+Adam LZ You start your day with lunch, that's not very healthy habit, isn't it ?
void habit just stfu and leave adam alone god dam u foreigners be nosey and annoying as hell
gaming taco 8 lol that made me lmao
bro, your car looks amazing from where it first started!. who cares if you did the work or not. you still pay for it. let the haters hate.
forest wang is gonna sell his fucking car.
chris nava ima buy that shit lol street legal ftw
+CORRUPTxLATIN you would have to fix a lot of things, engine is good you can make it legal anywhere just passing smog 😉 but it has lot of unsafe street mods. I have sure seen s15s around the us just not in Cali (; if that helps.
chris nava true but I mean I figure since he has a cage and the harnesses it would be fine but I'm pretty sure to pass inspection I would have to do a lot of things lol if ever do buy it lol which will probably never happen
+CORRUPTxLATIN you are better off importing a 2jz s15 and going through all the long process, wangs s15 is already beat up haha
Cash me ousside howbow da
Trump is my President what?
Moto Nerd its from dr Phil. UA-cam it, its hilarious in memes
Trump is my President expect the unexpected you don't won
At the end of the day Adam your car is your car. I came to your channel because of your car and now you are my favorite UA-camr man!! I hope to shred with you this drift season if not next!!
Adam i love the fact your always working on a car to make it better not just fixing it.
If you were to do this build yourself it would take you ages cause of all the things you have to juggle in your every day life. Not to mention the amount of people wanting you to film it. You are a very busy person. It's not like you don't work on them at all you have a lot of knowledge about it. I loved this part of the video when you talked about the 240 with music in the background. plz do it again 'cause i really liked it
found your channel through your 240 and now you are my favorite person on youtube.
i cant believe how long ive been watching you and how so much has changed
Im so stoked for you Adam! I understand what you're saying and I can relate! You're living my dream life and keep it up man!
There's a difference from not building your car and the phrase "bought not built". At least Adam puts effort into his car and doesn't just go to a shop asking for them to build a good drift car. super stoked about the 2j swap. I think the 240 is such a cool car and I loove what you have done with yours.
I love how u interpret drifting your car. Clean yet fun
Alberto is a new unlocked character
true, first video i watched of yours had a thumbnail of your 240. good luck with the 2j build cant wait to see it!
its your car you do you and make the car you want, like me personally i love it detailed and clean you know.
I love your cars and home most UA-camrs don't have good looking cars I love how you kept your car clean
Can't wait for backyard ramp videos! you should have a party with the LZ shop guys and friends!
I love how Adam is so focused on what he wants in life and always follows his dreams. I wanna be like Adam.
That 240 brought me here, love content with it :)
I think it makes your car look sick af! All the little details you do good job man keep it up👍🏻
Don't pay much attention to others in regards to others helping with the build.
You and Nicole and your house and your 240 and your Beamer are goals that I need to achieve bro 💯💯💯
Pretty awesome that you go into so much detail, well done LZ.
Adam_LZ I was nervous in the the beginning stages for import alliance but now I am totally digging it!
I'm sure you have already thought of this but just in case, welding a thick bar or rod at the top of your lift linking the towers together would help with them wanting to cave inward with added weight. Would have to be a sturdy bar though!
your skills and your car brought me here and made me subscribe to your channel 2 years ago as i know
A video with Big Boost is always a good video :D #welovealberto
I respect you a lot for what you said about the 240 being a tool, and you're not trying to win awards for spending money. Keep it up Adam
Your car may have been full stock 20 years ago but it has constantly been worked on ever since.
One of the best drivers at Gatebil last year recked his $120 000 2jZ GT86!! Damn.. He is building a new one now, so I really hope he will get it ready for the 2017 season!
Yeah man, we should always be thankful for all the blessings that we have.
Hey i have the same work out bench. just got it last week, and yes it does gets strong after you complete.
i dead ass love Alberto his smile is contagious i swear
You and Nicole, are the cutest couble on UA-cam
Adam I use the same workout bench, when you get the seats on it is way more stable.
If the lzbmx sticker is the same size as the clear wrap you should have done at least like one bar in all stickers
I met Forrest wang at Sonoma raceway for winter jam. Super awesome guy.
a tip for the bubbles on the clear wrap. poke it with a pin and go over it with a heat gun. just dont go to hot and burn it. but it will clear it all up nicely
I understand all of the car stuff and the situation and I love it
Your drifting brought me here. Love your vlogs man!
I agree with alot of people saying the exterior color is fugly, I think you should wrap or paint it a awesome unique color.
honestly understand what you mean adam and im happy that you like your car the way it is right :) just ignore the haters or ignorant people who say you cars sucks and do what you want to do with it
Adam there's an easier way to install that 3m vinyl, get some water and soap (i think 3m actually recommends baby shampoo), spray it on the surface, then put the vinyl on the soapy surface and with a squeegee, push the soapy water out from under the vinyl. It sounds kinda tricky but its super easy and allows you to move the vinyl around without it sticking, then just push the soap out and it goes on perfectly smooth.
Yes! I get to know your channel through your 240 videos!
I can't believe Adam didn't laugh at the "careful sponge bob" reference! Alberto is so funny!
use a hairdryer when putting clear coat on bars that's what I did on my cage adam it makes it more pliable and gets rid of bubbles but obviously only for a split second.
If I had my dream car I would go over board to keep it looking nice also can't wait to see your 240 when it's fully done
Your 240 brought me to your channel!!!! Now I watch all your video
Have you ever considered getting some custom made cream racing seats because the red sticks out too much
You should get a roof rack or rooof basket just for events, could put tires and tools strapped down and even your bike, that way the beautiful trunk stays looking fresh
you should do a before and after video of the 240
Sorry, I just realized afterwards that you did turn them around... Lol
I'm so jealous of your 240. Ive been looking for a good one for quite some time now.
Nice paint job on the interior.
idk why but that slowmo when alberto said "big boost" killed me😂
Forest Wang is coming to Tasmania, Australia in February and drifting! Some things are better off left to the pro's. I thought stroking/rebuilding the 2j was a bit over the top. Just get it in there at stock boost and that's more than enough power and reliability. I like the paint scheme.
i originaly found you bc i looked up drifting and saw your 240 so i played the the video and was hooked from there on out
I like that drifting can be for all even if you dont have a big budget and a big team and sponsors and it bring people together and share in the fun and love of cars and the way people help eachother share experiences and tips. Be happy and have a lot of fun with friends and make new ones you only live once so make it a fun time dont get stuck on things you can not change.
I absolutely love the 240 youve dine a great job and i wish to get a 240 sx myself, much harder deals in the uk
On the workout bench you put the rack on backwards
your 240 is one of the cleanest there is out there.
the colors combination is amazing keep the daily uploads!
greeting from israel
Your drift car is sick and even cooler since it's your own touch
it rains alot in Florida, water wont build up at the base of the ramp and rot the wood will it?
Hey Adam! How about a foam pit somehow implemented into the skate park?
the feels are real about having other people work on cars. I have a 93 intrepid that was given to me by my grandma and it means the world to me she always took it to the same dealer she bought it from and as a result I always go to the Dodge dealership because I know they know the car because they have been there for years and will respect that my car is in pristine condition... "Careful Spongebob" I love Alberto lol
