Right now he is very active and I’m hoping they deliver him at 37 weeks which will be December 1st. Wow!! I believe or should I say after listening to you, I know I have this. The itching all over my body especially in the areas you've mentioned is brutal. I've used creams, allergy pills, cold compressions, and oatmeal baths to no avail. I started drinking dandelion tea and all of a sudden the symptoms have almost dissipated. I'm going to keep drinking the teas and do a liver detox soon. Thanks for making this video

I got my gallbladder removed 2 years ago, I'm now 23 weeks pregnant. I'm itchy on my feet, my palms, and mostly arms/legs. I would only puke up yellow bile and I still get nauseous. These headaches are a B* too. I've been mentioning the itching to my doctor, I've mentioned it at most 3 times. Nothing ever clicks for her. I have an appointment with a new delivery doctor in April, but I'm so worried until then.
Currently in the hospital got admitted at 36 weeks 4 days. Blood pressure was high, liver enzymes high, currently doing the 24hr urine and waiting on test results from bile test. Because of this I’m scheduled to be induced at 37 weeks , my baby has been doing good on the monitor and stress Test, so I just pray for healthy delivery and no complications for her
I have it as well. I also don't have multiples or IVF. Mine was found last week and I am only 22weeks at this point (My BA was at 20). I was given medicine as well and I am being heavily monitored with weekly ultrasounds and blood work. My numbers were not too high but my OB said I will be induced at 37weeks regardless of how well the medicine works. (I am high risk because of my age.) I am super worried as well about my baby but sadly I am still very early and I can't do proper kick counts until 28weeks. The amount of self monitoring at home (BP, OxygenLevel, Temp, ETC) is becoming overwhelming at this point but I want to catch ANYTHING that happens because I know it is very serious.
I had this with 2 pregnancies. The bottoms of my feet. I would put them in ice water until they were numb so I could fall asleep it was so bad. I went into labour naturally at 37w +0 and was induced at 38w +3
I was induced at 35 weeks due to ICP, was in the hospital for 6 days total. I am now pregnant with my second, 31 weeks, and am starting to experience itching. I do not want to be in the hospital that long again, especially during a pandemic.. Just got my bile test done 🥺
I had same itching in my first baby started 7th month and believe me nobody knows about it either i visit so many doctors but all doctors said itching is normal in pregnancy thats why no body taking it serious . The day of labor pain i lost my baby boy because in this cases babies are not strong for pains . Thank you for sharing your experience 😊
My nurse told me you’ll be okay your hormones are just high. I said no ! That’s not good enough for me. She said take Benadryl for the itching you might have hives. I told her i pay this facility top dollar out of pocket, I can’t rely on your judgment, I need real testing. The symptoms im having are not stress hives. I feel it in my skin in my blood. The itching for me had no rash. And I have natural long nails so I was scratching hard. And finally my doctor said she will treat me for ICP until I get my test results back. Tomorrow is my babies stress test.
Girl! My doctor literalldid the same... we were all smiles and all of a sudden she have me this serious face. It's just itching! Ito think I could lose this baby because of it...
I had it with my first 3 kids in my 20's. A year and a half ago we lost our youngest (3rd) child to liver cancer at 12 years old. I can't help but second guess if my history of cholestasis played some part. We're in our early 40's we decided to try for baby #4. I'm still happily to my husband and father of my other 3 children but at some point during these years he's become infertile. We opted for IVF due to my age and discomfort with IUI with donor sperm. I had ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome but I did get pregnant with twins. We sort of hoped that a different biological donor would help but I'm 29 weeks and have been diagnosed with with cholestasis all over again. But a whole lot earlier than with my other 3 kids. For me, my hands start tingling at first, like pins and needles. Then my feet too. Then they get itchy. Then suddenly the itchiness is everywhere. I don't feel confident inducing early because my 2nd child wasn't ready when I had him at 36 weeks and he spent a lot of time in the NICU. But I'm not confident waiting. When I had my other 3 in the 2000's, there really wasn't a lot of information. I felt very alone. It's nice to see other women who have been through it or are going through it online.
Thanks, for this video. I am pregnant 🤰 now 32 weeks they want to induce at 37 weeks. I am also having a boy baby. This has created bumps all over my body.
My god. Im only 23 wks and im experiencing intense itching. This is my first baby and i was told itching was going to be normal. But this is jst something else !!! It jst wont go away!! I see little bumps on my skin. They look like bug bites and they’re everywhere! Doctor said to take benadryl to help me sleep. I been trying to get them to prescribe me to something and order lab work but man these ppl are something else.
Thank you for this video I am 18 weeks pregnant .. I started notice a itch starting 2 weeks ago .. Just like you my breast all over and have gotten small rashes on them also hands itched many times .. I have spoken to my OB and he said maybe its allergies ... So been taking benadryl .. But at times even w benadryl I notice itch doesn't go away ! .. So I started researching as well .. Seem my symptoms are exactly how you describe it .. Will be phoning my soon .. Also I forgot to tell Ob I had my gallbladder removed 6 years ago .. Which can affect this .. thanks again !
I literally told my Dr and my OB and all they said is dry skin 🙄 I’m having itchy hands and feet and itchiness all over my body nothing unbearable but developed right when I entered my third trimester! No rashes, nothing like bug bites, And no doctor of mine thought cholestasis! I’m so frustrated!
I know this is a late comment to this old video but I’m 34 weeks and having dark urine in the morning. Like super dark and my legs where my calves and in the front are SO itchy and I haven’t been sleeping, feeling nausea here and there and super fatigued... does the itching happen like CONSTANT or can it come and go? Just wondering..
I know this video was posted a while ago. I hope everything went well with your delivery. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if the itching was accompanied with a rash or just itching? Also, was there any swelling along with the itching? I've had test run and all came back good but I'm 20 weeks and have been dealing with this unbearable itching for about 2 months now... The doctor says it's not cholestasis and I'm hoping and praying they're right.
This is the 2nd time for me 😞 It’s awful!!! My 1st i felt itchy @ 36weeks got induced a week later as my blood test showed too much bile! Onto my 2nd pregnancy now & started itching @32weeks…straight to hospital-blood tests/fetal monitoring every week + medication ‘ursodeoxycholic’ which I’ve been on for 4dsys now hoping it works soon because my itching at night has got WORSE day by day! Using Calamine lotion lathering it on before bed but still soooo itchy! Lack of sleep up so much Making me so tired 😞 Might be induced again depending how well this medication works.. As soon as baby comes the cholestisis disappears ! AND apparently runs through your genes- my mum had it with my sister…
Thank you for sharing! I'm in my 20th week and the itching has been unbearable. So I called my doctor today and she is sending me in for labs right away to rule out this condition and make sure everything is ok. I have itching all over my body but what caused me to call my doctor was the itching in my palms the soles of my feet. Praying everything comes back normal and my baby is ok!
I'm on my 33 weeks right now of my first baby and I started developing the itchiness, I just got some blood work done and I was wondering if anyone knows that the levels of bile acid are the ones that cause alarm for cholestasis.
Im 38weeks 4days. Gynae just detected obstetric cholestasis. After a weeks medication. No relief. To get motivation wanted ro know did your baby make thru. I'm quite nervous.
Omg the way you described this, same with me except I'm itching more areas!!! I'm gonna ask tomorrow for tests cuz for awhile been feeling I might have this. :( my itchiness also began in breasts, especially under breast and have told dr but he didn't know, then got worse to scalp ,I used tea tree oil thinking it was just dandruff nothing worked n I didn't have any dandruff even .my scalp bled a little too :'( burning then around 29 weeks on my belly button and stomach, then spread to arms , underarms, fingers and hands. Now my ears and top of feet itch so bad I got a dark mark on it from itching badly! 😖 Omg I wish the drs woukd just rest me,!!! Is it really this unknown? Dr brushed it off saying it was just hormones!!! Then it became more intense so dr just prescribed benadryl to me weeks ago which does nothing! Ughhh!!! All steroid creams and hydrocortisone and anti itch lotions are pointless! I'm burning itching like mad but no visible rash! I'm gonna demand the tests tomorrow BUT WHAT CAN I DO IF NO DR WILL TEST ME??? Suffer!?? :'(
Thank you so much for sharing this!! Am due march 16 and I have intense itching all over my body I don't have a rash but sometimes I get red bumps. I told my doctor this about the itching and she just said oh you probably have dry skin and that's it she told me to buy coconut oil. But she never mention the possibility of that condition and I did not even know about it.
You would only develop this in your last trimester and it usually starts in your hands/feet. the itching is really severe. You will def know that something is wrong! I hope you don't have this, it was misery!!!
TheBeautifulBlendingof2Lives Oh my, I have the same thing. My navel is super itchy as well as my entire belly. I also have little rash appeared around my navel. I've been scratching them almost the entire day even at work! It's horrible. Good thing I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow.

I had this almost 13 years ago with my 1st daughter. I was only 17 years old. I remember especially in my last trimester the intense itching & my family attributing it to my skin “just stretching.” In my last couple weeks with the itching & the growth the skin on my stomach, stomach, inner thighs, calves, & breasts tore. It happened so fast. I was all of a sudden covered in enormous bright red & purple stretch marks that were very deep & wide and would cover the span of my entire belly. My stomach never recovered but my baby was born alive & she was my blessing. I just got my first confirmation today that I am officially ~7 weeks pregnant with my second baby & it’s such a surprise! In 2019 I was hospitalized with biliary cirrhosis, not related to alcohol. I’ve worked very hard the last couple years since to heal my liver & gallbladder. I don’t know what to expect during this pregnancy but I get emotional listening to your story. Thank you for sharing & being vulnerable with us.
Lala Vaughn I started itching at 28 weeks no one would listen demented a test and I was diagnosed at 37 weeks had the baby that day I was very mild but it was horrible you and your baby will be fine your doctors know you have it are they doing weekly tests

Gave me something in an IV for nausea proscribed nausea medicine. That night I left and was in bed that night I got itching on my feet next day my hands third day chest up to my neck and face... Now my back. I wanna know if I'm over thinking it or do I have Cholestasis.

How did it turn out? I'm omw to the ER for testing & NST.
Thank you for sharing your story. I was just diagnosed today. And am very worried
How u control plz share ur experience i have also severe bad itching in 16 weeks
my body was so itchy when I was pregnant now I understand wat was wrong with me
Best wishes to you! Happy Easter and Congratulations on the new baby 👶🏽 tomorrow! 🐣🐰🐇💝
Thanks Diane!
Seriously mine has just started last night and it has been disturbing me the whole day. Anyway thanks so much for the information
Thank you for sharing I think I might have it 😞 waiting on the result
I have it and I’m getting induced at 36 weeks. The itching is awful but thankfully I have this powder that helps a little
Girl! My doctor literalldid the same... we were all smiles and all of a sudden she have me this serious face. It's just itching! Ito think I could lose this baby because of it...
OMG I had that, it was awful. It makes you insane, sorry you had to go through that!

He's here and he's doing great, thanks love!
Had it in both of my pregnancies delivered at 36 weeks
Thanks, for this video. I am pregnant 🤰 now 32 weeks they want to induce at 37 weeks. I am also having a boy baby. This has created bumps all over my body.
My hands have been obsessively itching for the past 2 days. N9w Im freaking out!
I’m 16 weeks and I been itching all over my breast and back and belly
What was the outcome?
I literally told my Dr and my OB and all they said is dry skin 🙄
I’m having itchy hands and feet and itchiness all over my body nothing unbearable but developed right when I entered my third trimester! No rashes, nothing like bug bites,
And no doctor of mine thought cholestasis! I’m so frustrated!
What happened than . How was your delivery
Yes, how was your delivery .. how was your baby then .. ?? Please reply
@claudiawangfitness can you share you experience ? did the ithcing went away, was there a preterm delivery ?
I am 37 week pregnant and have this from 36 week and doctor said it’s normal I can’t even sleep because of it and now I am worried too much
Having these symptoms and I’m 13 weeks , my doctors said I have to have my blood redone that my liver enzymes mess high
I’m 32 weeks and was just diagnosed with this my doctor gonna keep an eye out on me and I’ll be induced at 37 weeks.
How high are you levels? Mine just came back as 11. To be induced at 37weeks too
I know this video was posted a while ago.
Do you remember what your bile counts were?
How long did it take for your results to come in?
How much wr ur bile acids raised? Right now I am going through this
Thank you for sharing!
Hi I’m in the same boat. Same symptoms and weeks as you. How did everything go?
I have same problem..
What is bile acid test and liver tests are normal and still u r are itchyyyy sooo much.? Is it dangerous for baby.?
God bless you may you have safe delivery thank for sharing
Does gallstones can be the reason for this medical condition ?
I have symptoms such burning feet and itchy top and itchy hands and belly but Im only 7 weeks pregnant
31 weeks at the moment - at hospital waiting for results! - hopefully not!
Now ama go to the doctor and ask them to test me for Cholestasis and this is my second child
You would only develop this in your last trimester and it usually starts in your hands/feet. the itching is really severe. You will def know that something is wrong! I hope you don't have this, it was misery!!!
@@Scoutthecity For me it started in my 2nd trimester. Crazy, uh? 😟
@@Scoutthecity mine comes and goes . Hands and feets only. I’m 35 weeks will talk to my doctor tomorrow
I am almost 35 weeks pregnant my itching is unbearable to the point I am almost in tears
Currently going through the intense itching and I’m so frustrated 😭 it all started 2 weeks ago
Hi .. Even i have started experiencing the same symptom from 2 weeks. Do u still itch ?
Mine lasted till I gave birth.
i was diagnosed with the same thing. I was itchy around my navel then a little rash appeared in the same area.
Usually a rash means its PUPPS but always press your doctor to be sure
My wife is developing little tiny blisters that itch on her hands/feet
My baby died when he was 2!!!! Due to my liver and diabetic
I had this almost 13 years ago with my 1st daughter. I was only 17 years old. I remember especially in my last trimester the intense itching & my family attributing it to my skin “just stretching.”
In my last couple weeks with the itching & the growth the skin on my stomach, stomach, inner thighs, calves, & breasts tore.
When during your pregnancy did you start itching?
I'm scratching like crazy 😒
Thanks for sharing my neice was diagnosed with this tonight.

Hi hon. I was put on medication called Urso.
I was induced at 37+3 weeks and my son was healthy. Definitely speak to ure doctor and demand bile acid level and liver function bloods.
My itching was intence it kept me awake all night.
There is a ICP support group on Facebook and there all amazing on there.
We are actually ttc again. Worried about having ICP again as I had it with both my son and daughter.
But at least i know now there is medication for it.
Thank you so much for getting back to me! That is such a relief to hear. I'm so worried about the baby if I'm diagnosed this early. This gives me hope! ❤️

Ok I’m itching really bad I’m only 8 weeks I’m scared
I know that this is old, I’m currently 8 weeks and experiencing this. What was the verdict for you? Did you have it? What are you doing to relieve the itchiness?
Gosh it’s terrible , I had it with both pregnancies:(
Since.you.went.through it and what I have read it seems rare for it to occur early in pregnancy. It's it possible this is what I have at 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant it's started with abdominal pain....I go to the ER run regular blood test take.my.pee. ultrasound said baby is ok. Gave me something in an IV for nausea proscribed nausea medicine. That night I left and was in bed that night I got itching on my feet next day my hands third day chest up to my neck and face... Now my back. I wanna know if I'm over thinking it or do I have Cholestasis.
Can cholestasis make you itchy anywhere? Or is it just your soles of your feet and your palms?
Anywhere
My baby was stillborn and he just passed Wednesday
Latosha B. Rip so sad for your loss.
Soha Sohail Thank you
So sorry to hear about your loss. Which week were you in?
Very helpful video plz can you tell me about medicine name it will help me because I m pregnant
I just found out on my own that i have cholestasis, i dont know what to do
How did it go?
Dandelion and milk thistle cures it
Can you take that while pregnant?
Is it safe to do exercise with ICP?
I'm going through this at 24 weeks

@@geeeee9383 Hi. I normally dap it with hot water. Yeah, Just a hot towel dap it in a hot water since I don't like putting cream in my skin cause my baby might get it in inside the skin pores and it's super effective :)
