I just got the blue dial version and it’s absolutely beautiful. The tritium tubes are bonkers at night. The accuracy is incredible. A second or two a day. Probably the finest watch I’ll ever own. Also, the 904L steel is so comfortable to wear all day and night, I can see why Rolex uses it.
I have a gray dial marvelite M. Stunning and classy! Very impressed with the quality overall. Think this brand doesn't get enough love. Outstanding value for the quality. I have everything from micro divers to GS. The Ball is my most worn watch. Great review! Been looking at those moon phase ball watches.
Many years ago i owned 2 Rolex watches, i now own 2 Ball watches, considering the difference in price, the Ball watches wipe the floor with Rolex. Good review.
I’m probably one of the lucky few that my Ball watch bracelet fits like a glove, and I can wear it all day comfortably. Definitely the least attractive part of an otherwise amazing watch. I have the Engineer III Pioneer and love it to death
I think a tropic strap or rubber line with leather top would go well and better than the bracelet. For an engineer’s delight, they definitely slept on the bracelet or had to cut cost there. They need to come out with a less chunky, non butterfly deployment that tapers and have micro adjust and quick removal like the mark xx Iwc.
Nice watch from a well respected brand, and a nice review. One small point about the Rolex Milgauss...it far exceeds 1,000 gauss do to the materials used for the hair spring and balance. Most believe it is similar in magnetic resistance to the Omega movements of ~15,000 gauss. Rolex only kept the name for ties to the the original historically significant watch. Take care and keep the awesome reviews coming!
No offence but based on my research I find this to be untrue, it only has 1000 gauss protection. Particularly the part of being close to the Omega level of 15000 gauss, you must have a Rolex Milgauss and you are just trying to validate paying that much money when you can get a better watch for less. Still, it's a Rolex and as such you should just enjoy it and don't worry about other brands having better options for the specifications provided. Cheers.
@@user-kw1rs6qn7b Please see Tim Mosso's (Watchbox)reviews, he goes into much detail about the construction and materials used on these watches. He has a wealth of knowledge and handles these watches frequently.

That's actually the first time I've ever heard that

@@patricko9170 I've watched some of his videos too, he seems pretty knowledgable about time pieces. I will check the video out, thanks.
