So to install cruise control to my series 3 ST 3D patrol. I only need the wiring looms with fit into steering wheel....? Isn't there connections to the accelerator controls, or is the wiring already available from factory?
Hey mate, I have the older style steering wheel (y61) but the one that has the non chrome nissan logo with cruise control And I bought the same steering wheel as this one with the clockspring and I want to install it and retain cruise control but my original master on off switch for cruise is on the dashboard and yours is in the steering wheel. Is it possible?
You cant run the cruise from the eraly y61 the have a 3 pin plug the later ones have a 2 pins you would have to change the cruise control over to the later one to get it to work with it
@@35wheels I didn't know that my older style has 3 pins, already bought the 2 pin style buttons and streering wheel and airbag and also the clockspring. I will try to adapt it

@jamesgleeson393 ok I did some looking you will have to get a s3 (2001-2003) clock spring and a s3 streeing wheel or elgrand one as there the same and the air bag to suit. The body harness plug is the same on the s1 to s3.

Yeh a elgrand steering will fit straight on im running one on mine. Elgrand e51 have the same steering wheels as patrols.

I installed audio controls not cruise control. If you buy kits off ebay the come with the wire to go into the factory plug in the streeing wheel
I'm surprised that the Ti didn't come with them already fitted.
Most ti did i fitted it to my ute

What head unit are you using
@jamesgleeson393 I'm using pioneer but anyone will work along as it has streeing control compatibility.
@@35wheels does a 1998 gu clock spring work with a e51 steering wheel for the steering controls?
