    It is 100% about the truck... we all agree. HOWEVER, people need to know a brief history about it and acknowledge that it was sadly involved in a terrible act which resulted in the loss of lives, but that is no fault of the truck itself, which is why we all watched. I personally didn't see anything wrong with it and thought your acknowledgment of the events were brief but respectful and insightful. Well done for trying Tim

      I get it that you love trucks. It's in the blood mate. Those of us doing the job feel the same way to one degree or another. But the incident

      I don't think Tim's upbeat personality and the subject matter worked it came across weird Driving to where the Lorry was discovered was too much .
      Would you be so supportive of the Vlog if the Cab had flipped a trailer on to a School Mini Bus and killed 10 Children? Some of the comments I've read under here victim blaming are horrendous..If the nationals pick this up and they're reprinted. The negative impact on the channel will be huge.

For you and I, along with the majority of the viewers that video would have been fine. The issue that they seem to have is that their video wasn't suitable for children which is a point of the channel and they feel the video breached that. Totally understandable if you ask me.
      I don't think its a "snowflake" issue, it's about understanding your entire audience and I think the gravity of being in a situation where you're in the presence of the truck involved in death of 39 people simply isn't suitable for their entire audience.

    Hi Timbo, not everyone in the country, or around the world knew of this event, I have seen the video you made of this awful crime, and found it very interesting, and should be a deterrent for anyone thinking of doing that sort of thing. I certainly didnt know to much about the incident so I watched the Sky news sentencing video. Keep your chin up Pal. Rob.

    Tim!! Don’t feel bad about it and don’t beat yourself up about it!! It wasn’t the lorries fault it happened!! Yes it’s sad what happened but “bleep” me people need to chill.. it wasn’t a full video about what happened it was a video about the truck! you done it in the nicest way you possibly could! Respect you for making a video apologising but I didn’t see anything wrong with the content you put out.. as others have said, if you don’t want to watch it don’t!! Keep the great content coming mate I’ve been watching everyone right from the start.

    Realistically, the video didn't need to come down. What happened was a moment in history in the trucking world and you were just documenting the experience. You did a lot in the video to explain how it was a sensitive topic and a tragic event. Keep trucking Tim and trust your own judgements!

    I didn't see the video so not sure what it's about, but what I do know is that you care and have tried to put things right. Life is not always perfect, sometimes we get things wrong, hell I for one know that.
    You and your wife and family are a great team regroup and come back stronger.
    We all need your video they make us laugh.
    Love to you and your family
    Keep up the good work

    The geared up video showed up in my feed and i watched par5 of it, so I understand what this is about now.
    Although it made the trucking news here in the states when it happened but after watching the documentary and just a couple minutes of them showing the officers arriving on scene.. That alone was enough to side with taking the video down.
    No the truck didn't do it itself obviously but.. out of respect to the families I wouldn't buy or have anything to do with that truck or the Hughes fleet.
    I support & respect y'alls decision to remove it. Let the truck rest with the victims. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇻🇳

    People are just ashamed of it, but what happened happened! It's sad but the Internet is too sensitive. I'd say post it back up and lets not just try and pretend it didn't happen. The industry has made some grate changes after the tragedy and we've learnt from it and preventing it from happening again. I didn't see the video but I know you didn't do it in a distasteful manner, Tim. Love the videos keep it up boi #44tongang 💪

    We're all human, and we all make decisions which sometimes we later realise were wrong. Personally I think you've made the right call, although I don't think it reflects badly on you that you put the video up in the first place (I do say that having not seen the vid). The problem with social media is that it's trial by mock outrage, and people get very indignant over stuff they wouldn't normally care about. With this particular truck, yes, it was a good looking truck, but it was also involved in a horrific crime and I was actually gobsmacked that it wasn't just crushed completely and that parts were stripped off to be sold, and not only that, the people who have them are advertising the fact they have them and touting them like some morbid curio. That's the tasteless bit, not the fact that some people are curious and do go to see them, after all that bit is basic human behaviour. I came across another video on it and it just left me feeling a little uncomfortable that these young lads were dealing with the parts and discussion as though it was something minor, and that the truck was more important than the people who lost their lives.

    • @DavidEverson77
      @DavidEverson77 7 місяців тому +1

      Exactly this. Also, reasonably certain that the truck and its many custom parts were only able to be paid for as Mr Robinson was engaged in illegal activities.

    • @almac414
      @almac414 7 місяців тому +2

      @@DavidEverson77 Exactly - proceeds of crime basically. I get that the money from the truck's sale went to supporting the families of the victims but the bragging bit, as the other lad seems to be doing, just doesn't sit right. It almost feels like hero worshipping of someone who whether through misguidance, or just being straight up callous, was involved in something horrific. 'Oh but his truck was amazing' isn't enough to counter that, especially when it was funded through that callousness.
