It's bugged many times the mine clearer drives through and then it closes again behind it and the mines then stop you
@@nc30guy That may not be a bug, just forcing you to move forward to next objective, which all happens above cliffs?
@@eric-wb7gj was right after he went through maybe 3 seconds...it's bugged happened more than once...the ai vehicles also got stuck and destroyed
@@nc30guy Fair enough, that didn't happen on my single go. I went right behind it and used it as a shield until we got to the other side of minefield.
I liked the mod, just hated AI that is rushing like crazy on hardest difficulty
Just finished it on Hard: simple trick: when the panthers come, hide behind the houses from where you came. So there are 3 broken houses, you hide behind them while the panthers are in the middle. Then you use your "Arty" and bomb them away. You have to drive around the P4's one by one and try to keep them turning their cannons in circles, so you can get away relatively well without any damage.
Ty so much!!! this trick gave me my first win in this mode!

the sound of the Sherman gun sound is way better then what we have in the game ,it should be the default sound for the gun
There are some awesome gun sound mods. Try War Mod in Aslain's modpack. Changes everything.

I reached the last stage where the AI spams Panthers, finally after doing 40k damage my allies pushed forward stupidly and died ending the match, Making it a complete waste of time.
Thanks for all the replies and suggestions, I have already tried this mode several times in the Rigorous mode, The first problem is as soon as you spawn the stupid Churchill commander makes your life miserable by blocking you from moving backwards and forwards to dodge the artillery strike, Later on once you started going uphill and destroy bunkers and jagd panther TDs with airstrike the last panther starts chasing you, Looks like they added some special instructions to AI, Ultimately the airstrike range is too short, In the final stage I am behind the dune on the left of the broken houses, If I move out of cover the ai start targetting me, When I try using the airstrikes which take a long time to activate and reload the enemy moves out of the zone or the stupid allied commanders rush in and get swarmed and die. The sad part is I reached 46-48k damage spending almost 15min for nothing, Whoever came up with this mission is just lazy and it's broken.
literally the same issue i had still had all lives at the end but my allies just push get surrounded and die and the game ends anyway
Tried it 5 times now allies always die … got down to 1 panther 2 times its just annoying
its quite easy with the panthers after they signal the waves you move back 200 meters roughly, then wait for your smoke signals to be ready and boom them one by one because at one pont the panthers arent moving anymore
Oh yes how couldnt i think about the air strike…. ofc i use the blimin air strike. The alies still Charge in and die before i can take out the last panther

If WoT had more regular PvE modes I'd prolly play it again.
WoT should have something PvE alongside PvP randoms whenever.

@bighowardshsn no it's not, they made the pve mode because there isn't ever enough players to actually play pvp
@@bighowardshsn armored warfare "failed" because it didnt stand out and was too simelar to the then bigger wot but pve works in wows very well

This mode has been super frustrating for me. The Panthers seem to be able to see exactly where the circle is for the battleship strike and will drive around it perfectly. If you take too much time, the French tanks will just suicide into all of them and you automatically lose if he dies. It would have been nice if they had laid out the win/lose conditions beforehand so that you don't waste 15 minutes of your life only to lose because of the AI being a sperg.
Exactly. it already ruined the event for me. I wouldve managed this mission multiple times but the panthers and the stupid friendly AI just ruin it
I've tried it twice and haven't managed to get off the beach yet!

yeah, I agree, but only if they remove the arta personal missions from campaigns. (which need an overhaul anyway)

(played with arty many times and own both heavy hitting british tier X td's)
Would be better for the game as a whole in my opinion.
Shooting straight through german heavies turret is equally bad as having IS-7 turrets in the game.
Bad balancing.
Arty will never be balanced.
Too strong or lacking the punch, but never balanced.
The game would be better without.
Then delete gold rounds, or limit amount to 30% of total capacity.
Then delete wheeled cars, or make the gun handling so bad, that it will never hit a barn moving top speed, plus make it more prone to flip like all other tanks and damage it's suspension from flying.
Then make maps bigger and less corridors, so battles would be longer, that 5minutes and many other things.
Point is wot has a ton of problems and arty is not a major one.

That "Eyyee" in the begining of the video XD. exactly what went through my head when I first tried it XD. I finished it on Hard mode without losing more than 100 HP by going to the far left there's a small hill you can keep safe behind it there and keep forward and backward when arty hits you, and started by destroying the clossest bunker.
Dubois just died when we had only the last 2 panthers at the end. I remained alone and battle lost cause teammates all died...cmon you gotta be kidding me why is the battle lost if I still can kill them ?
ARL 44 wasnt a WW2 tank but yes its part of battle pass.. for d day
Should have been the Char B1, famous French WW2 tank that even the Germans were impressed by and put into service when they captured them, but make it a higher tier version to the tech tree one in the game
@@anthonydixon1282would be accurate, but the enemy German tanks are tier 4,5 and 6... Most allied tanks are small mediums and a heavy Churchill, which isn't that big. Having a char would mean having more Cannon fodder
After 3rd time losing, the best beginning phase is to shut down top bunker first

I think this event is pretty cool and WG definitely needs to do more historical events especially from WW2. We already have the berlin map, so do a assaulting berlin PVE mode. Also wow this hard difficulty is indeed hard, I keep losing cus the ally AI yolos into a 7 panther crossfire at the end lol.
They had Berlin map in a PVE mode a couple years back. Think it may have been before they added Berlin to pubs.

Even Overlord map in this mode is more balanced then the one from random battles
this mode was easier than i thought and im only 49%. never played regular. only played rigorous twice. first to get used to the mode and died, second i finished it. albeit i was down to my last life on the 2nd game.
i was looking forward to this mode, but after this it looks like more half assed WG DogS%^t

somehow, Some HOW... hand of Machine God reached down, and guided my airstrike taking out the final 3 Panther's before wiping out my allies (myself also being able to sustain only a single hit) Actually Completed HARD Mode last night. ONLY completed, no medal for me. This mode is no joke
remember me look a like events where you fight with a small team against anemy bots. you could beat them multiple time. like way to berlin, way more fun

Started with the hard one and managed to do it on the third try.
really wish I had recorded the one time I actually managed to pull off this mission on HARD

I would pay serious (like $40-60 bucks) one time for a full WoT PvE game mode with a story and stuff like this where you progress through tanks and run different missions. Something like X-Wing but with tanks.

This is a Hardest Difficulty’s. Unless you are smart and Survive but watch out the JagdPanther. And Panther
These sick developers made the same task even harder.
Could have made it a daily mission for a week with rewards big for 1st and extra credits for doing it over

I finished the first mission today but the other missions are not available for another 5 days
This is crazy hard im on my 8th go now...
I found it a bit too easy, cleared it with 2 tanks to spare on the 2nd attempt on rigorous... I expected it to be longer, more respawn tanks and with more objectives on the harder difficulty.... overall still fun
i never knew french tanks participated in D-day
I saw the stories and initial missions this morning but can’t figure out how to access the gameplay. Any suggestions would be appreciated
You’ve probably figured it out by now but you need to click the menu next to the “battle” button that says random battles and it’ll bring up a menu with different modes, you just click the one that says “stories”

They should Just release WoT offline....
Remove the arty. Put more maps. Revamp crew Perks. Put reward Tanks in achievements and Put It a p2p 4 player game where you can play with your friends.
Put seasonal events like Mirny, this mode, waffentragger and a separate game...
Then they wouldnt need a training Room in Online WoT
it is hard this level...but yes once done forget it thought they make more missions
you must wait for 2 more, but yeah, only 3 is a not enough

This was disappointing as an event, they could have done more to make it more Historically accurate
the hard mode is RNJezus tbh .... the high rolls are disgusting from the enemy team...
I completed the even ot Rigorous with about 13 minutes to spare, it cut to my garage, says I have not completed the event... wtf WarGaming.
In other news on ASIA, another loot box event... FFS WG. Please, can we stop this absolutely insane monetisation.
Vehicles on offer are Lätt Stridsfordon 120, TL-7, FV1066 Senlac, Kirovets-1, M54 Renegade, T-44-100 and T 54D. 1 new tank laced with a bunch of others of varying quality.

Fuck this mode. I have played it 8 times and every time my team mates dies and I have only died once or not at all. Never had I had it so easy like in this video. My team mates dies very fast every time!
I love the garbage accuracy mechanic in this game. You can fire at bunkers for 5 minutes straight and hit none of the guns
You’re not supposed to take out the bunkers just by shooting them

The second and third mission, or whatever they call it, is the exact same scenario. Just have to do one in 15 mins or less, and one without dying. Big time fail WG. It was boring once, so I am done. Don't like fighting bots anyway.

People have been saying WoT is dead for over 10 years yet it still here with over 100k players just in EU, funny that isn’t it.
Had to complete the easy mode only... 4 battles in hard, I can avoid damage perfectly (almost).... but my allies decide to suicide against the panthers... ALL THE FOUR TIMES.

A Holywood story with a boring event.... The light version of mission is more or less easy, but in the difficult version i lost my 3 tanks before i could reaching some cover...After 3 times i cancelled this mission. For me no chance to leaving the beach.
Take your time in the first part, go one by one per bunker, and keep moving, do not stop bc arty will zero in on you and wait for the navy bombardment to do its thing. And in the latter part, use your arty whenever it is done recharging, it is a one hit ko with all bunkers/tanks. Got easy and hard at my first try.

I don't want to be the guy who only complains, but as a french, they could have taken at least one real french for this, because it's super weird, cliché and the conversions are even a bit cringe, but maybe i'm the only one :/

dogshit, random gamemode. absolutely the worst. frontlines is fine, steel hunter is decent, this is unplayable and i wasted 45mins already

Its a thrash m4e8 with it peashittyshooter weak armor and weak angling....or the americans fucked big time on their shit tank
The T-35-85 reloads faster and has a bigger gun....
Thus concluding that M4 needs a fucking rebalance. Because having the smallest gun of the VIs medium it should mean high Rate of fire.... But apparently WG cant make their game work.
