The thing about the tilt not working near edges applies to all xp-pen devices with screen. I've already been discussing this with them for a while it seems that's how it's supposed to work so if anyone wondering it's probably not going to get fixed. Btw you can switch the tilt for Krita to make the brush start under the tip.
@@teohyc Yeah, I use tilt a lot and was a bit disappointed by this it's about 2-3 cm around the edge where tilt doesn't change (if you have your pen touching the screen it will retain the last angle so you can finish the stroke but you can't change it which is kinda eh...). Have a nice day!
@@GuyGieri If it's enabled for your brush (you can turn it on/off for anything) in your brush's settings (default shortcut F5). There you can enable tilt for whatever you want (for example to simulate pencil you'd probably want to enable it for Size - tilt elevation - and Rotation - tilt direction), there are curves for all these settings so if you are asking how to flip it just flip the curve. There are default tilt brushes such as Pencil-5 Tilted which you can check and see for yourself how it works.
THANK YOU for that zoom into the screen so we can see the pixelation. It's not enough when reviewers say "oh it's ok", we need to see it. You're the first one that does that. Seriously thank you. That's the only true downside of this tablet, but it's still excellent, and if that's the trade off for being this affordable then I'm very content 💜 definitely getting this one

Teoh! Thanks for the timestamps. There's a big sale in an online mall in my country and I'm contemplating whether to get this product but can't spare enough time to watch reviews. You really helped me a lot decide whether to get the product!
Amazing and perfect timing! Just when I was about to look for pen display tablet haha. The improved ergonomics of the pen and the boost on performance are really huge points to consider. Thank you for the thorough review Teoh!

And pray you get your money back when they delay sanding the replacement! You have to freaking insist on that. Never again! I have never been so disappointed about a product... I have a Wacom Intous reconditioned (!!!) since 2013, still working perfectly!
So other then getting a stand, having a second jog wheel, and slightly better color gamut; there is really no difference between this and the 15.6 Pro. I don't really see the big deal over this. It's not really a game changer.
Haha! So other than being 9mm thin (as close to laminated screen as possible to get to 9mm) better IAF, better drawing performance, single cord compared to the spaghetti you otherwise get, better colour gamut and a free stand - there is no difference between the innovator and the 15.6 Pro? GTFO!
Yeah. Looking through the info on their website they really dont mention IAF or other things there(just that the pen is different from the other models). Its only when you use them both can you feel a difference, from what I can tell. Wish they upgraded the resolution or something.
Neko Kun it’s better than the 15.6 pro AND cheaper, so it’s a no brainer for anyone that doesn’t already have a current tablet. If you already have a 15.6pro, then there’s little reason to upgrade though.
That's a great review as always :) do you think this could be a good alternative to be used as a second monitor too during normal usage when not using it for drawing? I have got a tough question, do you think that for someone who would love to get more into digital drawing will be a tablet or a digital tablet like this a good solution? Or maybe having them both? The digital tablets looks a more professional experience overall. I'm wondering if I'm doing a bad thing sticking to a tablet or whether should I change. Thanks a lot for your time :)

Hi, thanks for the review. I am a beginner with art in general as well as digital art. I plan on getting this tablet ($500), or the Wacom One at $400. Do you think the Innovator is worth the extra $100?
The only advantages the Wacom One has over things like this tablet, the XP PEN 15.6 Pro, or the Huion 16 Pro, is the company having better customer support, the brand, and being able to hook up the One to a phone. Otherwise, the 3 mentioned above are better in every other way, you get so much more for the price.
