Hari ni, kita nak tengok kereta RARE kat Malaysia ni. Macam biasa, MQCars jalan ampang baru je call untuk tengok satu kereta rare baru amsuk. Volkswagen Golf GTi Clubsport. Ni bukan calang calang GTi. Dia special edition semperna menyambut ulangtahun Golf GTi ke 40 tahun. So bagus ke Golf GTi Clubsport ni? Worth ke nak tukar dengan A45? Watch the video to find out! In conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the Volkswagen Golf GTI, the automaker’s United Kingdom branch has released more images of the Golf GTI Clubsport Edition 40, a special model that was created to mark the occasion.
This isn’t just a normal GTI with some glittery bits attached to it, as Volkswagen has tweaked the EA888 under the hood. In this guise, the 2.0 litre TFSI mill pumps out 265 PS and 350 Nm of torque, which is 45 PS more than the regular GTI. With the overboost function engaged at full throttle, it will produces an additional 25 PS for up to ten seconds.
As a result, the 0-100 km/h time is dispatched in just 6.3 seconds, two tenths faster than the standard car, while the top speed is now at 249 km/h instead of 246 km/h. These performance figures are applicable for both six-speed manual and DSG versions.
The Clubsport uses a tweaked version of the familiar 2-litre, turbocharged EA888 unit that also serves in the regular GTI and R models. VW quotes a power output of 261bhp between 5350rpm and 6600rpm - a 34bhp gain on the GTI Performance Pack - but for short periods on overboost it will produce 286bhp
We’re used to turbocharged engines delivering extra torque through an overboost function for short periods, but a power boost is much more unusual. For 10 seconds the Clubsport will serve up the full 286bhp - just 10bhp shy of the range-topping R - before dropping back down to 261bhp. After another 10 seconds the full output becomes available again. - Авто та транспорт

U missed a rather import thing. Mk7 gti cs, comes with engine and turbo sama ngan golf r. So u get is38 turbo instead of the is20 from the stock gti. Also engine golf r ini, compression, camshaft and valves are larger the the gti engine to help spool the bigger turbo. Both are called ea888.3. head and turbo yang lain.
