As a person who lives alone in the English countryside, something about waking up in the peace and quiet of nature has really changed both my mental and physical health. When I was younger I thought happiness came from the "excitement" of being busy, the grind and material possessions but now none of that matters to me. I've never felt happier with less that ironically feels like more.
Every day I say "I hate my life", but watching your videos give me hope. I can chill and find peace. Things won't always be as shitty as it is now. Thank you, Leah. Keep up the awesome work

I broke down crying when you started singing vienna. Vienna is my all-time favorite song, it speaks to the very core of my being. The story behind it is soooo important to me, as I too have a tendency to want to rush through life and get to the point where I can say I'm happy, without experiencing and enjoying the journey. But life is about having goals, sure, but also being happy on our way to achieving them. I am insanely proud of what you are doing for yourself these past few months, and I'm so sad I couldn't get to see you when you were in Paris. (I'm more in the south of France) But you bring such light into everyone's life around you, and I hope it comes right back to you.
Awwww I’ve known this song since I was 10 but this past summer I feel like I truly “heard” it for the first time because the lyrics felt so real to what I was experiencing! But I feel so much slower now and having an inner knowing that everything will come at the perfect time so there’s no need to rush anything :) I’ll be in France again next year staying with my aunt near Toulouse so maybe we will see each other!!!
I don’t know why but I just feel really happy when I watch your videos. +I’ve been really stressed out lately because I’m not living the life I want. But well, when I think about it, I’m still very young; I’m still a minor and couldn’t even afford a tiny hut. So watching you slowly switch into a different lifestyle while taking your time makes me feel happy and have hope that I can also live the dream life if I stay aligned with it and be patient. I also learned that things will definitely take time but if I learned just enough, I will get there slowly but surely.
Wait, i understand you so much, but at the same time, i feel like the time i could've been using to prepare myself, or even make as much money as i could've, and not wait until my late 20s or 30s to actually live the way i want. It makes me sad that just doing what any normal teen would do, i consider "wasting time" because of all the priviliged and/or successful teens my age/way younger than me. But, i'll still keep trying. I'll get there, eventually.
You probably won't see this but you are really inspiring. I recently failed in an interview and I really wanted the job. I was feeling so demotivated to do ANYTHING I stopped working out and taking care of myself. But watching this video really motivated me not waste a single day of my life. I have just come out of rehab which has been the hardest time of my life in terms of confronting everything I have been running away from for the past 18 years. I am currently having my first weekend out of primary care and am witnessing the world for the first time in over two months and have been feeling super down, vulnerable and unsure about anything. I watched this video and from the moment it started to the moment it ended I had a smile on my face. For this I want to say thank you. All of a sudden I started thinking about my Anatolian grandmother and all the great women in my family that have passed away to put me here today. Idk it's hard to explain but I just wish they had the education that I have in the city so that they would never have to leave the beautiful mother nature for an equal life🌾

i lived for many years out of the cities in beautiful towns a cross Costa Rica, Guatemala, Finland.... but then I got bored and now love the chaos and creativity and so many things to do in the cities
Wow! This video literally blew my mind. I lived on the countryside all my life and it never made my this calm. You look soo happy and healthy! I love that for you! And thank you for the piece of advice of not getting to attached to routines, i never saw it that way and was always sad that i couldn’t contain one routine over a longer time
Just a note on foraging for snacks. In some cities things like raspberries and blackberries are sprayed as they're pests. So make sure that isn't the case before eating them.
I'm always so anxious when I think about my future life, I was raised in a really small village and currently I'm a uni student in a big city and I really don't like it here, I hate big cities. But seeing you living your life there gives me hope that I can be like that too in a few years

It's been a while since I've last seen your videos but I just happen to stumble across this video and I just love it. when I'm older and out of my family's house I want to go to the countryside and just live there with someone. Open a cafe and have fresh food every day for people that come by. Just live a peaceful life outside with my cats and other animals. It'll be fun to go out to the city once in a while to visit some friends. This really is my dream life :')

It's been a while since I've last seen your videos but I just happen to stumble across this video and I just love it. when I'm older and out of my family's house I want to go to the countryside and just live there with someone. Open a cafe and have fresh food every day for people that come by. Just live a peaceful life outside with my cats and other animals. It'll be fun to go out to the city once in a while to visit some friends. This really is my dream life :')
