    Had the exact same issue in France on my 986 last year, managed limped the car back to the UK, but was not fun!

    Tell the customer to get rid of the silly, unnecessary UK sticker that's uglying up the back of his nice car.

    A bit steep £250 to fit a AOS costing £65 + vat for a genuine part. Just replaced mine and it took me a DIYER just over a hour !

      I think the customers bill was actually £232.
      We spent quite a lot of time (over an hour) having to clear the exhaust of the excess oil. We charge £90 + vat an hour & spent over 2 hours working on the car. So the £250 was a rounded up figure this particular job

      that is a very good price, mine cost me £500.00

      I've been quoted between 350 and 500 from local porsche indys. £250 is a very good price under the assumption ots a oem provided part too. 👌
