This is a strat that I don't think anyone else has done in any category yet, but I know Nick's planning on pulling it into Any% (and I've been doing it in Any% for a while, just haven't gone for it in a run that PBed). If you don't defeat that Terrible Portrait (the only way to skip this one is by SJing), the camera will follow Wario left and right, but will not follow Wario when you jump down the hole. After I jump down the hole in this category, I have a few visual cues to position Wario to pick up one of the columns down there and pile drive into the trapdoor next to where you land. The SJ to skip the Terrible Portrait took a few tries in this run, so I didn't maximize time save, but I think this probably saves 5-10 seconds in each category. The main difference for Any% is that you don't do that trapdoor, so instead you have to go all the way across that floor of the level (doing 2 blind SJs over walls) to reach the next trapdoor, which is right before the drop to the Battle Ring. I'd consider this version of the strat easier than the 100% version, especially if you're fast at unbuffered SJs, since you can't really use the visual cue that helps with buffered anyway.
I have never heard of wario world but this is interesting :D
Awesome run
gg
Yahoooyahodishahahahaha
Esta de loco Wario pero son viejos tiempos recordar
54:46 what’s going on with the camera here?
