Made it to 100 subs! Thanks everyone! Conditions are not looking great this week so might put together a video from a mix of sessions that weren't good enough to make a full vids! Once the waves are back I'll get back on it
Yeah days like this are very fun and super relaxing! I like the challenge of bigger days or harder spots but not everyday! The beauty of surfing is, in different conditions, it feels like a completely different sport!
Yes in Western Australia! Not going to publish spot names, but none of the spots I take the camera out at, are secrets. They can be found if you go looking 🤙
Not much to this one - saliva, applied 20 minutes before the session if I remember, otherwise a few times while out but not between every wave. - submerging the lens between waves - not touching the lens with skin or wetsuit if possible - using it on less windy days without rain (spray droplets are the enemy!) When I got my first gopro a in the late 2000’s I used to use rainx, but the new flat lens are much better for drop-less shots! Dome lens are a nightmare! The key is a slight film of water on the lens that absorbs any little drops, hence submerging regularly to keep that up!
@@TomPidden I will defendly take your advise!! I normally lick the less before I submerge the GoPro and a few times between waves but I do get some shots with water drops!! Thanks man!! 🤙
Cheers! The water is 22deg, but normally the wind dictates how it feels and what suit I wear. At this time of year if it’s calm or from the north, then a shorty. If it’s from the south and breezy then a full length 👍
@@goofsaddggkle7351 ah yeah there is a little Sandy spot which is easy for getting in and out but the reef runs all the way to the inside everywhere else

Where is this
I love these kind of days when the water is clear and the day is cloudy those are the days where your surf best waves
But when it’s crystal clear and sunny 🥵
@@Zactinium Nah stormy and cloudy with a light drizzle of rain and there's seals 🥵 🥵 🥵
@@tajw9289idk why seals are so scary 😂
Perfect size....no stressful paddles or near death lol

Spot on man!

Was this 3 bears?
Yo 30 degrees tho 😵
Is it reef or beach break?
Reef, shallow but fairly soft
@@TomPidden thank you! Looked like it started reef and finished beach or something.

hey man I've always wondered how you film? is the gopro on your head?
Camera is in on a mouth mount, but I usually tuck it into my wetsuit when paddling out
yeah buddy you are absolutely shredding i could use a tip or two from you
Looks like you surf pretty well I'd say I need tips from you not the other way around!! ahah
