Another cool lesson Jimmy. I come from Ireland 🇮🇪 so love the reference to the Celtic rock. This lesson reminds me a lot of the music I listened to as a kid growing up in Ireland.
Learning caged and playing the chord shapes of the 1-5-4 over the entire fretboard was one of the best and it's fun jamming. The best thing for me personally is Learning something , staying out of my comfortable zone of playing what I already know and then the breakthrough of when it clicks in my one and only brain cell left. Just want to encourage players.
Cool. I got onto removing the Maj3 a lot from most of my cowboy chords. Sometimes I put the high A in a D chord also. It makes more sense playing with drive of course. Problem is with any new technique I tend to overuse it for a while
Always a worthwhile post, greatly appreciated
You're welcome, glad you found it helpful!
Thxs Jimmy. I had a lot of fun with it.

I agree - stepping outside our comfort zones is a great way to grow!
@@JimmyDillon Definitely what I need to do more of.
It's a great feeling when something clicks from trying out new things.
