Thanks for the video. Looks like a complex job with lots of things that could go wrong. As a novice, I don't feel comfortable doing this, so I'll take it in to my shop. Appreciate the demonstration.
@@rickyiglesias5384just try it man. It’s just like putting a puzzle together piece by piece. I started out doing stuff like this. Then moved to timing belts, then head gaskets and then rebuilt an engine. All from watching videos step by step and doing a lot of pausing and replaying. If I can do it so can you. Only trying to encourage you!
@ $200 isn’t bad. Was it just one side? I been looking online for parts for both sides and it’s over $100 for the parts. If you can start buying cheap tools from harbor freight. They’ll eventually pay themselves off and you’ll get a new hobby.
You can press another bearing to the hub as long as the hub isn’t too rough to press the new bearing on. As far as a whole “hub assembly” these cars don’t have those available together as the hub and bearing have to be pressed with the knuckle between them. The rears how ever are a complete assembly you just unbolt and bolt the new one in. So to answer your question Yes you can just do the bearing.
He obviously doesn't have the tool needed to do this. My plan is to take it to a shop and do the same thing he did. Just have someone else put the bearing and hub in for me.

Anything with an 8 minute tutorial is safely doable by a toddler lol.
@@WhosFlipp I guess I'm an infant then. hope you feel cool with your comment.

@ thanks, but don’t have the tools necessary either. It’s already done by the way. Local shop did it for 200 bucks. No problem.

I have a fiesta st180 do they use the same hubs as the standard fiestas?
Have i to change the Bearing assembly or can i change only the bearing?
Did you ever get an answer to this?

@@joels2354indeed, sorry a lil late😉
How long did it take you in real time? Want to know how much a mechanic should charge for labour.
it doesn't look like you put in the locking ring on the axle side of the bearing?
Thanks brother
The stud on my tie rod is spinning as I go to bolt it back down. Yours seem to go on with ease. Am I doing something wrong?
Probably time for a new tie rod
U need 2 spanner’s
After replacing bearings do you need to have the front end realigned?
No
You only need to remove 2 main caliper bolts.
Its the bearing in and out i was hopin to see

@ognap yeah, I'm gonna do the same. I don't have the proper tools to do that part😶
It was all good until he NEVER showed how to change out the bearing.
For real.
@thesomewhathandyman9400 I changed one last week. I have a press and it was quite easy.
@@malcpaul996 Cool, yeah I did find a couple videos that show that process. Just wish I had a press. Maybe hf will have them on sale for black friday.
He said it in the video lol he doesn't have a press
