At times I feel like there are bots that go to popular videos or videos that just came out that are doing too well, to dislike them...maybe some bullshit of "evening the playing field" because I really cannot see how anyone could dislike this at all.

I would LOVE to be in a shop full of those creations. Unfortunately I just remembered that I live in a "little-town-lost-somewhere-in-the-ass-of-the-world" (it could be its official name) where no one has even a clue that this kind of stuff does exist.
create your own! if you source locally you dont even have to pay for anything. I just spend some time at a creekbed and found myself some rocks and small plants growing there, took some soil and put it all in a shalow bowl and hey presto. Also growing wabi kusa just by getting some plants from near water and tying the roots up in a cotton rag filled with soil and a little clay ball. you can do this with any biome, just need to observe nature around you and recreate.
UA-cam cannot give justice to your contents the amount of work time patience you put. its true sometimes good things never get the value they should get !
This is amazing! what a great job you did! your work inspired us to give it a go too. Though we were wondering if you could include a rough idea of the materials you used? like how many stones / how much kilos, what kind of stones, how much foam board and what sort of glue you would recommend. Also any kinds of tips are welcome. Keep up the great work!
As always your work is amazing! I love all the attention to detail. I'm curious, what is it that you use for building the base of your builds? Is it some kind of foam board?
really wanna start doing craft like these, making nature in a box, but it cost to much :( still just a student. When im done and got job after my degree, i plan to make a "hobby craft room".
When you say 'planting cloth' are you talking about any material that's made of microfiber, or is it an actual product for aquariums/terrariums? This was beautiful work as always. I love how well thought out and planned your projects are. Are your projects commissioned or for yourself?
@@jaimiejuriansz6831 Perhaps so. I've seen videos from others that looked like they were using such fabrics. I suppose some experimentation is in order. Gosh, a reason to play. Lol!
I have a feeling that it would look so much better if the mist maker go to the down part of the stream. Waterfalls generate mist naturally when the water hits from above with a big force and speed. So mist appears on the bottom not on the top part. :)
All that’s missing is some physical sound design I think. You could use a lowpassed white noise machine to help build the sound of a waterfall hitting a larger body of water as opposed to the higher pitch you currently hear. Give it a try! Easier than making a bigger reservoir or bigger piece
Possibly styrene board Silicone sealant and super/krazy glue He called it a white smoke screen so im just going to check online and look for anything thats like an adhesive smoke screen
Very very well done. My husband has an aquarium and often he builds things his own. I love watch the way you can adjust rocks and build a little real sea world. Your waterfall is amazing. Thanks for sharing
It's very nice, perhaps put a glass front half way so less moisture enters the room. That could cause a problem for electronics and cause more water usage.

I don't think the stuff he buys is buyable in the USA if that is where you are. It looks like foam board with a plastic lamination, all the foam board we have here (that I can find) has paper lamination. What I am using: www.amazon.com/dp/B07BPVP1KB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hTbmFb8S69XXP I am in the process of building something like this myself and I am using corrugated plastic boards and hot glue to build the structure. That is turning out well. I plan to tack the structure to the glass with hot glue and then seal with silicone (silicone does not adhere well to it). I am not finished yet but I think it will work well.
this is giving me vivid flashbacks to the dentist I went to as a kid, he had a big plastic waterfall and fish tank set up and it sounded just like this
I think I'll definitely check out another channel on how to do this. This has some good ideas but it's very vague on materialist and hints and tips, the sort of thing I was actually looking for in a DIY video..
A bubbler/aerator might be a happy medium between no water texture and the mister. The water would last longer since it’s not being vaporized and you’d still get some texture with the water. Of course, it wouldn’t be as atmospheric as the mist-maker.
