Naval is a national treasure. First half of discussion was great, but then the simulation theory discussion..... I agree with Naval, it's not worth wasting time on the subject.
Even after 11 minutes, it's clear that Naval is awesome. Intelligent, articulate and very aware. I do hope he engages more in our American 'reconstruction'. He is one of the Founding Fathers 2.0
Naval is the master of a few words. In india there's a saying "गागर में सागर" Literally translates to "Ocean in a pot". Hats off to the simulation discussion feels like a socratic vibe. ❤❤
I appreciate Naval knocking down that "simulation theory" Scott is so fond of and hope it SANK in. His constant plumbing problems are probably more do to with substandard crappy pipe his home builder used, or the water being acidic or some such rotting out the pipes, or the pressure is too high, or a combo, etc....
scott, you and navals conversations teach me new things. although you are both different and dont agree on everything, you both are a good fit. like im learning both from you and him and seeing both you and his perspectives., very nice
Not sure if Scott understands persuasion? He had Naval motivated to call Trump and ask to be involved in the administration when he talked about this being 1776 and the rebirth of our nation with just the right people in place. That moment spoke volumes about these two patriots.
It's interesting when you listen to people, like intelligent non-NPC individuals, how your brain downloads their profile in a way and references it as a model. With every conversation it opens up something about an individual's *way* of thinking and it is something that you access in subconscious ways. It's true when I encounter things covered on the Coffee w/ Scott Adams podcast in real life I can almost hear Scott's voice in my head. He becomes a pillar of perspective, not perfect but genuinely helpful. For instance when the world is melting down I can almost hear the calming, reassuring, tone of Scott's voice saying "Don't worry. That's not a thing." we are moving into a Golden Age or I think about how he might talk about reframing something and exploring that freedom to interpret in a helpful way. I enjoy the *way* he goes about analyzing in his skeptical way and testing predictions, and I am able to better see through all the projections and manipulations just because I have downloaded something of his wisdom. And this happens subconsciously because I can remember some dreams when I have actually been talking to Scott or coming to him for advice. It demonstrates that he is in there, sorta permeated the consciousness. Not sure if that makes sense but the open nature of this discussion kinds brings this up and makes me think of the ways we integrate wisdom from people. I'm so grateful to have access to such an interesting blend of perspectives.
Brewer, this is how God works too. I've noticed most people don't open up for learning because they are too concerned with ego, insecurities, and/or envy. I'm much less calm and collected as Naval, which gives me strength in certain arenas, but mostly will work against me given the realities of the world, and the profile of most people.
This was the highlight of my week. I feel like I gained 10 IQ points just by listening to this fascinating conversation. 🚀Please next week round 2 with Naval! I also want to see a Scott & Elon convo. 🔥
Great conversation. And on Naval's point of you observing thoughts, actually it is only thought observing another thought. The thought 'I am observing' is all that is. To say only awareness exists is also another thought. There is no you as you know yourself other than thought. What's there beyond thought is unknowable by definition.
This is interesting, but I think you are overthinking it. The thought I am observing is a thought, but observing or awareness of thoughts (which come and go and aren't typically "from" you) is actual consciousness. I think, like God, what's beyond thought is participated in, and not fully known of course, but also not "unknowable."
Excellent episode, I hope you share your knowledge to the Trump Team be that support group, you both would be a great asset for the United States & its people. The intelligent way to be selfish is to help for the welfare of others.⛩🀄
I still believe the hermetic view of the Law of Correspondence answers a lot of these questions.. “The Kybalion” has to me still remained the best explanation of all things in existence

Well... Watch #972 affirmation episode, his simulation staff brings parallel techniques that help in real life. I'm not into UFO, but If there's some secret that's bad for you to ignore, would you vote to stay on the fog? If "nuts" people are right I wanna know truth even when truth is weird.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" John 1:1. The Greeks struggled with the question of consciousness but when John the Apostle shared this line, along with the rest of his gospel, the most advanced philosophical culture in world history converted to Christianity.
Thank you Scott for months ago spotlighting Naval as someone who does not speak about politics being compelled to speak up. Prompted this always voted Dem to do otherwise this year after investigation.
It's funny. The first premise of the simulation argument can't be proven because if we were in a simulation, there would have to be a limitation preventing an exponential explosion of sims within sims.
Please keep having conversations with Naval … you both enjoy it and so do we! You two are Internet Uncles who help all humans!
Please make sure Don Jr. sees this. Naval's offer should not be ignored. Thank you!
I feel smarter and more optimistic by listening to this
My iq may have increased a few points. Exceptional mind.
This episode is gold. Naval is one of the most insightful people on earth

Wow! Naval is smart! What an enjoyable conversation.
Wow! What a fabulous conversation. Thank you.
Well this is a conversation I didn't see coming. Can't wait to dive into it!
This conversation is all MIND and no SPIRIT.
Love naval’s unwavering optimism! 🔥
Thank you guys hope to be rich like you one day
Much, much, much better than your usual content. More!

Man this is a deep conversation. This is going to be a million views by the time you get done with this one Scott. Keep up the great work.

This was fantastic thank you Gents
So fun - love these conversations
I love this guy. He reminds me of ... me. Naval, keep up the good work my friend.
That was smart and super sweet. Thanks !

Yes, but you can experience it, if you can , you are one of them who we call "the awakened one". Like budhha and the others.😊

I said 'unknowable' for a specific reason as knowing is a function of memory. What's beyond thought is not 'known' but can be realized non verbally.
@@sureshn13 yes! Well said
Enjoyed the conversatio, thank you both 💖💫🙏🏽🧘♀️📿🕊️

This guy always has something intelligent to say about everything.
Wow Scott adams, big fan of yours from India, i never knew you had a channel on youtube! Goodluck brother...
I first heard of him literally hours before this stream.
I still believe the hermetic view of the Law of Correspondence answers a lot of these questions.. “The Kybalion” has to me still remained the best explanation of all things in existence
Great conversation! I like the push back you gave to Naval. It's usually the same ole boring questions.
When I have a conversation with someone more intelligent than I, I listen to their theories, not try to convince them of mine
I am always listening Naval, as he is always very calm cool n conscious while talking on any difficult topic. And i am practicing it for me to develop
Not even five minutes in and I'm dealing with at least three bangers
I like how this didn't feel like a podcast
Best of the best , i love scott and i love naval very much
I love @Naval so much! ❤
That was absolutely fantastic.
Loved the debate towards the end here…great convo
Fascinating.
I liked the convo after 50 minutes so much

excellent convo
Please do this again.
I think he was talking about the book ‘Axiomatic’ by Greg Egan which has a short story called “the jewel”
Next time, Scott should have the conversation at a diner that looks like the movie "my dinner with andre".
Respect.
Wow, great conversation for me!
More conversations with Naval please!
Scott with his simulation is like listening to Joe Rogan and his UFOs
Well... Watch #972 affirmation episode, his simulation staff brings parallel techniques that help in real life.
I'm not into UFO, but If there's some secret that's bad for you to ignore, would you vote to stay on the fog?

This was just so good.
Thank you!
Great conversation
Great convo! Loved that you talked as equals (and didn’t glorify Naval).
We luv Naval.
Simulation or physical manifestation -- how would you know and what would be the difference. At some point the dog is chancing its tail.

you guys should do a regular pod together.
Absolutely
Yes but maybe only once per month so they are always 'fresh'.
Thank you.
WOW! Mind blown

Love Naval
Thank you Scott for months ago spotlighting Naval as someone who does not speak about politics being compelled to speak up. Prompted this always voted Dem to do otherwise this year after investigation.
this was great, usually work and listen but this time was impossible, the information was too high to do other things
i think the Moskito landed on the Naval base at 27:55 after a kamikaze dive.
58:00 …how refreshing is it that these guys can move from politics to metaphysics/philosophy/high-level stoner talk. Isn’t it great to be human?
