Yusei got new cards to appear thanks to the dragon. Yuma... Yeah Arc V protagonist at this point people just will cards to the top of the deck. People just draw what they want to. Playmaker same deal as Arc V, he draws what he wants to which is why he is so bad-ass. He knows what cards he needs to top deck to out an extra link. He can play through 3 negates because "I don't want to end on nothing."

But if you want each protagonist's power at their peak here you go: Yugi can draw whatever card he wants Jaden can make his cards become real and not just holograms Yusei can create powerful synchro cards and take different future paths than what fate had prepared Yuma can create any card he wants but doesn't create auto win cards because he either can't or is too dumb to do so. Probably the latter Yuya has the power to make bad/evil people/beings laugh and purify them Yusaku actually hasn't gained any op power...YET

when they announced this i was kinda hyped in a way but since its an anime game i tought i will nor pre-order and wait for details. Gameplay is to easy and unfun and the roster is kinda "eh"... atleast its fun to watch and your commentary sure helps me watch some of the gameplay.

Really it's not a super technical fighter game. It's a great game if you're an anime fan and you just love anime in general. Plus the mechanics of the game are fun as well

Yugi CAN combo without support ... You can square four times, and then switch to two triangles right before Yugi launches them. So let one of the square blasts hit but not the other. If you do this, you can dark magician girl, and catch them before they hit the ground. Dark magician girl is a combo starter if you're close enough when you use it. Also, you can dark magician girl into Slifer.
Afro, after you use an ability use DRAW it will power-up that ability but uses 1 more meter try it out it's so cool and yeah Yugi(Athem) is like my main.
A Noob's Complete Guide to Yugi: EZ combo into *draw* : light, light, heavy break, heavy, heavy, heavy, and *draw* . DM blast to rek opponent's pressure, DM girl dome to punish long range camping (lol with his playstyle...), *draw* for whenever you have 1 special bar or more and aren't doing anything else (3 swords = free combo if it lands, a bunch of swords = free pressure/stamina break if you're quick enough, attack buff = sorry try again), ULT to finish opponent at about 1/5 health when they input any move besides a chase (excluding air chases) or another ULT. Awakened state doesn't seem worth it to me. Yugi's most meta playstyle is camping, and camping with an awakened state constantly draining your ULT bar is a no-no. Only use support attacks to safely charge at a distance. That's all there is to Yugi. Have fun cheesing.

You can square four times, and then switch to two triangles right before Yugi launches them. So let one of the square blasts hit but not the other. If you do this, you can dark magician girl, and catch them before they hit the ground.
Dark magician girl is a combo starter if you're close enough when you use it.
Also, you can dark magician girl into Slifer.

A Noob's Complete Guide to Yugi: EZ combo into *draw* : light, light, heavy break, heavy, heavy, heavy, and *draw* . DM blast to rek opponent's pressure, DM girl dome to punish long range camping (lol with his playstyle...), *draw* for whenever you have 1 special bar or more and aren't doing anything else (3 swords = free combo if it lands, a bunch of swords = free pressure/stamina break if you're quick enough, attack buff = sorry try again), ULT to finish opponent at about 1/5 health when they input any move besides a chase (excluding air chases) or another ULT. Awakened state doesn't seem worth it to me. Yugi's most meta playstyle is camping, and camping with an awakened state constantly draining your ULT bar is a no-no. Only use support attacks to safely charge at a distance. That's all there is to Yugi. Have fun cheesing.
