"When children learn to devalue others, they can devalue anyone, including their parents"
- JLP
@@privateuser7 "just for having an opinion"?? haha - yeah, a very loud, violent opinion
@@privateuser7 Who did they devalue? An entire gender and virtually every other race except whites. Did Dr Grande devalue them? No, although it’s hard not to be biased against people who lack any morals and brains.
@@privateuser7 Yes, an opinion. But opinions are like assholes; everybody has one. Except that some are more full of shit than others. Once we start practicing false equivalencies on opinions simply because people have them,, the world will end soon thereafter. Flat Earth, anyone? Existence of a god, anyone? Lunacy and idiocy know no limits.
@@privateuser7 Apparently my sarcasm went clear over your head. I was using sarcasm to show that not all opinions are created equal. And I was not associating religion and Flat Earthers with the Proud Boys (why did you mention them in the lower case? I know quite a few "proud boys" but not so many Proud Boys.) All I know about them is that they came to Washington on Jan. 6 heavily armed, constituted a substantial number of the violent mob that attacked the Capitol and tried to conceal themselves among the crowd by not wearing their conventional colors. I perceive them as whte nationalists and/or white supremists and/or fascists, but all of that aside, the mere fact that they supported Trump's attempt to void a clear and unequivocal BIden victory saves me from having to know much more in order to form a well-supported opinion. And, BTW, I do not "know for a FACT" that there is no god; I am a "soft" atheist as opposed to a "hard" atheist. You would do well to learn the nuanced difference. And I have very little about life and my place in it "figured out." Good to know that you have yours down pat, though. Nor do I live on a "lofty pedestal." I have worked extremely hard all my life to earn what I have, the Universe having gifted me with certain talents and a whole lotta luck. And if you care to educate me as to the basic principles and dogma shared by most or all Proud Boys which differ from my understanding, I would appreciate the information for future reference. And if I was wrong in my understanding, you can expect a sincere apology. Meanwhile, you might do well to avoid stereotyping a person you do not know, while at the same time (falsely) accusing that person of doing just that. Maybe mutual aopolgies would be in order?
I should also thank you for identifying me as a "pseudo-intellectual." I never thought of myself as being intellectual at all, so I guess that was a compliment.

You guys do realise the Aladdin song was a self deprecating act, along with all the other dumb stuff they do. Its kinda weird making jokes about someone who is deliberately making fun of themselves. Its like walking up to a clown and telling him he dresses funny.

@@MyBeautifulDarkTwistedFantasy6 Hello, hope you are staying safe and well in these unprecedented times. I want you to know that I don’t come to this channel to judge people, I am simply interested in the human psyche. I am actually incredibly interested in researching a lot of aspects of the Columbine case, and in my research I have stumbled down a lot of Tumblr and UA-cam rabbit holes. I have found very interesting information, ideas, and opinions on the subject and have also found some very bizarre content about it. It seems the term “Columbiner” is more closesly associated with the latter (bizzare content) rather than the former (research and casestudies).
I feel like a so-called “Columbiner” is much different than a Columbine “researcher”.
But, now I have the oportunity to speak with one, so my first question to you is:

Yes please. These people beat up and kill people for having a political belief. And destroy and burn down cities. And the media is silent about it as long as it’s for the left. Disgusting.
He could do one on BLM - But not sure about antifa as it doesn't formally exist cuz it's just random people who believe in anti fascism but it's not a group of people in an organization getting together. It's like a neighbor saying I'm part of an antifa movement but he doesn't actually meet with anyone. It's just him believing in something. However BLM is a civil rights group, they have a founder and have organized meetings and protest. Also protesters are different from the people destroying properties. Same as there's a lot of good people in proud boys but you'll get the bad seeds that want to enforce violence. There is bad and good just don't fall in the trap of thinking one side is bad.
@@SG-hy7dc Not just one side is bad but MOSTLY one side is bad. It’s just the truth.
@@jollygreen9377 Violence is created because of violence. For example a lot of silent injustices have been happening to certain group of people. There's so much anger and frustration that riots break out. However it causes a lot of damage and fear within society, another group shows up wanting to protect their heritage, values and community but both sides start enforcing an ideology of fear and hate. When in reality they both want to feel safe and understood but don't stop to realize that the media and politicians (right & left) are using them as pawns. Basically the question you should be asking is why does BLM and antifa exist? Why is there so much anger. The same way the left has to stop and say why is proud boys being formed what are they trying to protect. I guess if people just talked instead of attack a lot more could be achieved.
@@SG-hy7dc BLM and Anitifa exist because people have personal agency and personal responsibility to make good decisions in life and these people haven’t done that. Your response basically comes down to you blaming others for their existence. Blaming others for their anger and actions. I didn’t like Barack Obama or for that matter any other leftist but I didn’t go out and riot, murder, destroy and commit arson because of it. Your real meaning behind what your saying is that because of white racism all of this is happening and basically it’s justified. Slavery ended in 1865 and we have a 1964 Civil Rights Bill that makes it illegal to discriminate because of color. At some point personal responsibility comes into play. If good decisions are made in life you’ll succeed regardless of color. Don’t get pregnant outside of marriage, make education a priority, don’t break the law and try and stay married and have a faith based family. Do those things and you’ll be successful. White racism isn’t the issue in the black community it’s father absence. All of the current police shootings have been good shootings except for George Floyd. EVERYONE agrees what happened to him was wrong and he was arrested for it, the system worked. BLM wants Socialism and the the destruction of the nuclear family. Two things that would not only be horrible for black families but everyone. BLM and Antifa are responsible for their own actions and their actions are that of a radical, anarchist, evil group.

Doctor Grande is a world treasure, We must get the message out to help his channel grow, I do belive we will be doing the world a great service.
Dr. Grande, do a talk on Ayn Rand
You couldn't make it up. You just could not make this up.
And you are spot on about alcohol abusers looking down on drug users. I have known a couple of them, in particular. Human nature never fails to amaze me.
When I was still in my teens and coming of age in the infamous Sixties, almost everyone I knew did illicit, usually psychotropic drugs, and we all looked down on drinkers, people who only drank, and alcoholics. We called them "alkies," and our disdain for them came from our perception that they were depressing their consciousness instead of expanding it.
Yes, the times keep "a-changing."
I also don’t understand how they can judge others based on their own addictions.
All narcotics are addictive. If you’re addicted to one substance, you’re in the same boat as everyone else.
Drowning in the ocean, swimming against the tide until someone or something hands you a ladder.
Thank you again, Dr. Grande. I knew nothing about this group. I do not understand why any woman would associate with such men. I have always said that if the most aggressive form of cancer were a living, thinking entity, it would be jealous
at how quickly hate spreads.
Like judging someone that’s using illegal drugs as undesirable, even though they themselves are addicted and dependent on prescription drugs for which they have a prescription?
Sadly I’ve seen this behavior and it makes it so much harder for these people to accept reality and get the help they need
@C A The leader of the Proud Boys is a black Cuban. There are homosexuals and Hispanics in the Proud Boys, as well. How in the hell can a multiracial group be "white nationalists"?
They're not white nationalists, but individuals within the PB's have connections to white nationalist groups.
They are hypernationalist, hypermasculine, they fetishize violence, they seek to provoke violence with leftists (who are "the enemy") they believe in rigid gender roles, they endorse authoritarian social institutions.
Their fourth level of initiation is getting in a fight with a left-wing person.
I think calling them fascist is a fair cop. At least, they're reactionary and violent.
If you won't accept them as fascist, is it because you can't accept fascism in America?
We've been quite friendly to fascism all along. Fascism here isn't a foreign transplant, it's more American than apple pie.
@C A kinda like x mas, except all. The idea of man and his castle, boss.

Hi Dr. Grande. Please make an analysis on Shirley Temple on how she was treated when she was a child actress. Thank you.
Dr. Todd Grande, I would be very interested seeing a mental health & personality analysis of Martin Shkreli. There is a lot of footage of him on the internet to draw information from (other than the standard interviews there is a lot of footage where he livestreams and talks about himself directly to his online followers live).
They had trouble finding an impartial jury, because even people who had never heard of him said they couldn't give him a fair trial, just because of what he looked like.
Venerate the housewife? Probably still living in Mom's basement, huh.
Not really. Its more about the hypocrisy and irony of a woman going out to work and calling it 'empowering' whilst paying another woman minimum wages to raise her children I suspect..
Nah the leaders are all married with kids.
Why do they venerate the housewife? Because they are lazy? or why? Does that mean some are married and their wives stay home?
I advocate for one parent to stay home, either one. Raising children in daycare is extremely problematic...
@@geneharrogate6911 Gee, it sure would be nice if both parenting styles were revered and supported. Full time, stay at home parents, revered and supported; and those who work outside the home, revered and supported... And also, childcare workers, revered and supported, with good training and good pay.
"Weed out the best and brightest" Haha so true haha
3:18 - fedora hats go only with suits. Not flip flops and cargo shorts 🙂
Seen it all on one person, many times.
No, capris, tube-tops and fedoras go together. On guys.
@@mlovmo What color? Capris made of what?
Can we just clarify that the hats everyone calls "fedoras" are NOT actually fedoras? A fedora is what Indiana Jones wore. What everyone *thinks* is a fedora now, is actually a trilby.
Fedora and trilby are very similar. In summer panama hat is weared. They are classic hats in a sense that they go with a suit. You can wear it even with a leather jacket like Indiana Jones, but not very casual like with t shirt, cargo pants and flip flops.
Can you analyze Antifa or BLM members?
Aladdin inspired violence 😄
Jafar was pretty badass.
And racists used a movie based on middle easterners 🤣🤣

Thank you, Dr. Grande, for reminding us of one of the greatest arguments against white supremacy... white supremacists.
Who's leader is an Afro-Cuban?
Thank you, Mightyjackservo, for reminding us of us how brain washed by MSM the general population is.
They're really bad at being white supremacists if they allow people of color. With a black leader. Lol
Wow, good analogy Dr G, very detailed and informative. Thanks!
LOL, Aladdin style crashes! I must have missed that in the movie! Keep tearing it up! Cheers Doc!
Is there gonna be an episode on anti-fa?
Can you do the trials of Gabriel Fernandez I would love to see you analyze the mother and her boyfriend
That was the most difficult documentary to watch!
The saddest & most distressing thing is it could've been stopped so many times along the way.
And then another little boy died right around the same time!
The Mom was obviously compromised- but the boyfriend, man I hope he's getting his.
That is so heartbreaking I couldnt watch the documentary. As a mother of 3 boys I could never imagine hurting my sweet, innocent, beautiful kids. Ugh, poor baby.
@@dmallen469 The mom was just as big of a piece of crap as the boyfriend was in that case. She had a duty to protect her son and she failed miserably.
"Proud Boys Girls" - I started laughing so hard. I have not laughed that hard in a good while
Never knew the proad boys got their name from a cut Aladdin song. So strange but I guess it makes as much sense as their rules and steps to get into the group. Thank you for another informative and entertaining video Dr. Grande!

@@Vivi_9 antifa isnt alt right. Their leader is Afro-Cuban. Antifa is more white than proud boys. Proud Boys aren't the one saying that "hard work," "punctuality," and "schedules" are constructs of "whiteness." They think white people are so supreme and superior that they invented fucking hard work. Think about that.
@The White Unicorn lol you really are easily manipulated, sad little alt-righter
I loved what you said about the anti-intelligent test and drinking fraternity. The results of the "test" may assist them in determining who would least likely question, doubt or challenge the views of the leader and be more likely to commit to the movement's idealogy. Not to mention, if followers lacked critical thinking skills it would be easier to influence their actions, thoughts and feelings and help ensure the opinions of the leaders are accepted without question. The drinking fraternity culture would only give them further power and influence. If followers consume mind altering substances that vanquish doubts, impair their ability to reason and cloud their judgment it would further assist in ensuring the survival of the movement. It's definitely to their advantage to set the bar low for membership. As always, thank you for another detailed and informative analysis!
"An anti-intelligence test" HAHAHA! Good one, doctor! So are all - ISMS.
The sad part is I see many families in my practice where the BF or husband fits this pattern which proves problematic in they don't/won't participate in counseling for their kids and actively work against a mother/guardian by withholding medications or not taking kids to scheduled therapy. They routinely violate custody orders; would rather go to jail for contempt on principle rather than follow medical advice for their children. Great presentation as usual.
I didn't know many of the things you presented about the Proud Boys. What a horrible way to participate in the world. Thank you for sharing your insights and thoughts Dr Grande.
May be a little more honorable than banging on a pot all day with a spoon, and nipping at the heels of your perceived enemy when their back is turned like ANTIFA, but not by much.

Dr. Grande I admire you greatly. Thank you for work
I found this to be a very interesting discussion. I had wondered if these folks might be hooked on the adrenaline that comes from violence. When a family member was in rehab I went to classes for the family and they told us that recovering addicts will often exhibit anger, and set up situations where they can be angry because they feel a bit of an adrenaline surge that gives them a buzz.
I would like to see a video on the overview of MH/personality factors common to medical professionals including psychiatrists. It would be a huge undertaking but would be fascinating.

Yet, masculinity is indeed threatened in today's world.

@@setaside2 Inherent to masculine energy is force. Force against nature, against a counterpart, and unto the feminine. That is timeless and awaits not your rebuttal. We now live in an age when, for many reasons, that force is less continuously required -- until it isn't.
