Rotem is my new teacher. I just love the colour concept and it just makes sense... Ever since I started learning from you, all I keep saying is TENSION..... & ..... RELEASE. lol

Actually, I’m already blown away by how precise the rhythm playing is .. and how well the two players lock together 🥁 … thanks for this great lesson!

I really like how you talk about feeling the different intervals inside the chord. This is how you can actually start to understand what kind of notes you are playing. This has been a really big thing in my own playing for years now. Actually feeling how every note feels inside a chord.

I love when your videos are posted early enough to where I can learn something new before I go into my full time job. Keeps my brain working.

Love the lesson, all your videos expand my palette.
Also, can you tell me more about your shirt? That texture is really nice.

So the 4 finger 4 string descending pattern chord you played …it’s “voice” is a
major seventh? or part of the 7th arpeggio? can also be minor 7 too then, right? Ummm…
I’ve been using that pattern, playing along with pop jazz, certain horn lines use it especially
I’m an ear player, can’t read a note (well, “all good boys do fine, I used to be able to name the notes on a staff) on piano, but never on guitar (and that was 50 years ago!). Useful to know even if I don’t read. I find it works with a lot of the tunes I play along with very well.

cool stuff! im getting started on lead guitar a bit more seriously after having messed around with chords and comping for a while so this is going to come in handy. Say, would you have ideas when it comes to thinking ahead while playing music? I remember you saying that you're always trying to think and hear things a few bars ahead and I don't really know if there's things I can do to practice and develop that skill, or if it's just going to come with time. Thanks!

I know this isn't *super* related to the video, but I had a question regarding your education. I'm positive you know piano, but how far did you go exactly? I'm a guitarist and I've learned a lot from picking up piano.. but I was thinking about going deeper to expand my musical knowledge and for many other reasons. How deep do you think I should go? Learning to be able to sight read fluently? or just enough to comunicate? Or should I know as much on guitar as I do piano?
    Thanks in advance!
