The biggest issue I think is the lack of communication lately. Tony used to keep us updated every few days if not daily, but now it's mostly retweets of fan content, which is not a bad thing by any means, but we no longer have any way to know what's coming anymore. The fact that he isn't saying anything makes me wonder if he *can't* for some reason, whether it be a scolding from WB for being too honest in the past or if it's actually the corporate suits running the @Multiversus account (after all, it's not like Tony and the devs are deciding anything monetary) and that's the reason why the way they announced the S2 extension left such a bad taste in people's mouths. Tony hasn't even retweeted or commented on it yet, so I'll be very curious to see his response, if any. Either way, something is definitely going down behind the scenes, and I really hope it gets better before it gets worse.
@@blackvalio4060 What I mean is, if a promise they made wasn't met, Tony would be honestly apologizing and giving new timelines within a day or two. But within the last few months, it feels almost like there's been a shift in their policies behind the scenes. I feel like 'talking to the team' about the battle pass involved talking with Papa Warner, and now they've been given less freedom to communicate about decisions being made about their game by the suits. That's just my guess regarding the silence, because it's very unlike Tony to not give us more detail than most other developers about what was happening with the team. I think the team is also struggling with the new content, and WB isn't happy with them being unable to keep up with their schedule. I think the whole game was given to us way too soon, personally, but that's probably Warner pushing them for sales asap, and they just weren't ready/experienced enough for the crunch.
I Honestly just haven’t played multiversus since the winter event. There’s really nothing getting me to come back right now. Hopefully we can get a new character soon so the game comes back a bit
I've almost entirely given up on the game. They give us no new info, characters, or updates that actually fix gameplay or characters. There are maybe four good characters, the rest are completely useless due to being too slow or just nerfed to hell. Not to mention the constant crashing and glitches this far into the games life.
Id like to return but for what? No new characters, no new maps, fun gameplay but not as polished as other fighting games. I swear if they add an echofighter as the new character, this game will be a joke.
Definitely a little bummed out by the delay but I believe we'll get content throughout the extension, I was pleasantly surprised by the lunar new year event so I'm hopeful we'll get something for Valentines day or the spring, even it's just something simple like profile icons or banners.
I think its a good thing that you're keeping an optimistic conversation going about the future of the game. As a reminder too of the game STILL being in it's beta and believe it or not, games in betas like Multiversus have gotten delays on content or bigger updates. It just happens. This also being PFG's first game adds more weight to that as well. Truthfully I think this entire scenario shows how used to constant updates gamers are nowadays. This is not a AAA studio or game, and yeah it sucks we aren't getting new stuff every month, but this game is NOT dead, nor is it dying. Its regaining its footing after being blown away from awards and praise it got at launch. Give it time friends, our time will come sooner or later. Just send your love and support to PFG, as I promise you they appreciate support more than criticism for not meeting every dan demand.
@@blackvalio4060 every fighting game has about 2,000 on stream for honor has been out 6 years only 2,000 daily constantly gets played dbzfighters is around the same a little less a game isn’t dead until there’s about 300 or less on steam steam isn’t every person playing also btw so you have to do it times 3 as there are other platforms with the game so if there’s 1,000 daily there is 3,000 daily
People think the game is done for because March 31st is the end of the fiscal quarter, and after this game has been wasteland since November and with Zaslav being thirsty for any tax write off he can get his hands on its not hard to imagine this game's languishing sales and player base might be putting it on the chopping block. Especially in the wake of MULTIPLE live service games being canned back to back across the industry
I think im done with the game. This is just unacceptable at this point. All we hear is ,,coming soon,, but all we get is 20 dolla skins and delays and now purchasable xp. The ,, they said so and so,, doesn't hold anything of value anymore with these devs

I understand that PFG extended the Season 3 date to help players complete the Battle Pass, but March 31st is too much, man.
