Choices: Blades of Light and Shadow Book 2 Chapter 7 Human Route / Nia Route (Diamonds used)
This chapter was another good one! but some things felt off.
First thing was the sealing off the rift between realms thing. It just happened in the midst of a life threatening battle and the importance of the mission which is why the avengers went to shadow realm was lost.
Like they should have designated separate timing for that or maybe while MC tries to seal the rift valax attacks.
Second thing was how mal tanked the shadow dagger from valax?? like did we forget book 1 and how powerful that stuff is? also the writing emphasized the shadow coursing through his body so how was it magically gone after blud came to light realm? yeah MC used heal magic on him but still he was up and standing like some toddler hit him in the stomach lmao
other than that it was a great chapter. some action sequences and i feel like the new love interest PB teased was probably this dude aerin and no one else. maybe the dwarf world has someone but i doubt it. instead give me the baroness as the LI man i would start worshipping the berry icon everyday 😂

Theory time (i stole this from reddit lol): Mal will get corrupted later on in the book- Hes already in the closest proximity to Nia for a year who while not corrupted still is fighting the darkness inside her + injury taken this chapter + the cover has him suspiciously on the dark side
Also I think both Aerin and Valax are gonna be new LIs but idk how long this book will be if they want to add Valax. But as an Aerin stan, that route is so filled of angst and yearning and shit like give me that drama >>>

Not to be mean but Valax is literally the most basic looking character ever. There's just nothing about her that stands out. 🙁
There's a certain charm to all the other LIs and even non LI characters at time.
Also I can't believe they took away Willow from us. We were just getting to know them better. 😭

​@@dynamixstorm1436 I've to say I find Isador more interesting than her and I actually don't really like Isador much personality wise (she seems like a beech) but still I would like to learn more about her past.
I just don't find myself caring at all about Valax or her backstory so far.
She feels like your generic villian. I think if she's special then there should've been some snippet of her perspective even if for a min or two.

The problem is valax isn't getting enough screentime for us to care about her. for a supposed villain for book 2 we need to see her actions and backstory or something.. or just 2 min previews at the end about what she is plotting.
