- With the world trying to find its way back to normal, we are also back to serve you the yearly ritual of Livon Journey to Miss Nepal 2020. Amidst of all, the show must go on.
The ever zealous The Hidden Treasure team has seen many hurdles in their 25+ years of organizing the biggest beauty pageant in the country. History has it, they overcame it all. Kathmandu Auditions for Miss Nepal 2020 was one task. After going to 8 cities in search of Miss Nepal 2020 Kathmandu audition was on hold due to circumstances that the world is in.
Finally, when the day arrived, we saw a rush of ladies all set to catch their dreams. Following all the guidelines and showing the best team effort audition was completed.
Team Livon is happy to have partnered with MN for yet another year to support the ladies, organizers and to show the audiences the inside scoop of the making of a Miss Nepal.

I really love miss nepal. When I was born the first thing my mother said was she would make me a miss nepal. I just came from the video of Shiskhya Shangroula didi sharing her experience about 2018 miss nepal. Organizers pls don't play with people's life for fame, money and power. Plz keep everything transparent and fair.

The height criteria is unfair and absolutely unnecessary because there's no height requirement for Miss World. By doing this, the organisation is preventing so many potential girls from applying the pageant. Imagine not being able to participate due to something you can't control.

I really wonder if these girls are here to make positive impact on society and not boost their own resume. There’s nothing wrong in thinking and working towards self growth but, I am fade up of hearing same cringing line from most of contestants about making positive impact on society. I highly doubt if any of them have done anything in that regard before . They might not have the greater platform and supporters as a Miss Nepal would have but, if they are really passionate about it, they would have initiated something already instead of waiting for a crown to push them forward.

Supriya Shrestha a participant this year she have been actively engaging in making a difference in society. Do you know how much she contributed during covid lockdown for stranded migrant workers to help relief them to be able to meet their families and yes winning miss Nepal will obviously bring her a greater audience and platform to be more charitable
I never disagreed on Miss Nepal giving one greater platform , it's just that preaching social work to get forward in competition while one is passionate about other thing or keeps social activism secondary is just not appealing to me. By the way, it's great to hear that Supriya Shrestha is doing good works already. My comment was generalized and not specific to one contestant or a particular batch . Also, I have seen many contestants and title holders actively participating in social work , activism only after their participation in this contest and I do appreciate it whole heartedly. I believe it's never too late to contribute to society. It's just that bringing social activism in center to look prominent bothers me, they are certainly smart, talented to highlight other qualities and do well in this contest.

I think this height criteria is unfair. Miss nepal should be focus on beauty with brain along with their talent. If the person have really something new different talent and have energy to do something for nation, the nation will pay great loss. 😞😞

Actually its 2020 and any of the beauty pageants should not be there. Strange that you are against the rules of some mere contest like Miss Nepal and supporting Miss Universe, a beauty pageant itself. Girl! open your eyes. Just because they are telling you that everyone is equal and there is no parameter; still there is going to be winner perfectly fit to the standard societal beauty. And At the end of the day, it is business to everyone either be this pageant or that. Just take it sportingly. Again it is 2020, let people do or choose whatever they want!

Height criteria is like the gpas and percentage that colleges look for. Many people don't get to join colleges and universities of their choice because of certain criteria. Every competition has its own criteria, respect it, accept it. You cannot be slow in marathon and expect to get selected for the Olympics. If beauty pageants have certain criteria and you don't meet them, just move on and try somewhere else. There are many platforms to showcase your talent and become empowered, infact much better ones than beauty pageants.

Miss Nepal is also a job and the organization wants certain type of candidates for that job and I don't see any problem with it. After all these are beauty pageants and they should be taken seriously only to some extent. I'd have problems if somebody said: You need to be 5'7" to be a Prime Minister of this country. And I see where you are coming from too.

It takes something to be on the public limelight and thrive. There are many more miss Nepal who have faded or decided to step away from the public life which is totally acceptable since it is their life. And the successor takes the crown and the responsibility of miss Nepal every year anyway, but Zenisha is still here working for our society. She does not have to do all this, she can decide to remain private as her income source does not mainly depend on her public life. She is doing this because she wants to help our society progress and these young women succeed by giving them comments and nuggets of wisdom. Even if she has to face unwarranted criticisms and trolls trying to pull her down.
Also, doing business benefits the society. It creates jobs, taxes to build infrastructure/pays for our safety(crime& fire), brings in new products in the market, stimulates the local economy, etc.... Social media vlogs and posts helps our society with new opportunities, distracts our sufferings, keeps us refreshed, gives us new ideas, boosts our creativity, changes our moods when we are down, etc... And as you yourself mentioned Zenisha is contributing in those two major fields.
I gave you a free lesson on why you need to be grateful and humble towards others. And I haven't even started talking about Zenisha's extensive social work and how she has influenced generations of women in Nepal to be strong and independent. Peace V
