In the last clip, I didn't understand until the last moment why you were throwing batarangs. I didn't see the reason. But the last takedown just amazed me. After all, how difficult it is to get the thug to stand on the right point so that he can be dropped from the legde with the gel. Brilliant.

I think the reason is that a floored enemy can't shoot you ;) It also helps with setting things up, for example make them look in a certain direction or stand (up) at a certain place like a ledge.
