As an artist being on tour has far more going on behind the scenes that non artist would ever know so well done you've hit the points I would expect to see covered.
Making sure the venue can meet a bands requirements for their equipment/sets,weights, etc is why some big artists have seemingly weird, bizarre dressing room requirements like a bowl of M&Ms w NO red or green ones. The artist can immediately see if the venue actually read all the requirements for the staging and such if the banned M&Ms are there or not. If banned ones are there the artist can be sure the other IMPORTANT details were not followed either and they can cancel…it’s a safety issue. One band had the stage collapse because the venue’s stage couldn’t actually support the bands required equipment and band had no clue. And ppl were hurt!
Jin can be added now as his song Running Wild hit number one for a few weeks and also Happy did very well. He was the number one seller in Japan in 2024 outselling the next four artists combined which included Jimin’s Muse. The quiet achiever that often isn’t mentioned.
I doubt that goes for over all sales, since Muse has been selling for a long time, so I guess it's just for a month or so, but I'm very happy that Jin is doing so well.💜
@ Happy was the best selling Debut album in Japan in 2024 with sales of 223,938 more than the next four albums combined including Jimin 2nd with Muse with 97,777, JHope 4th with 35,299 with Hope on the streets and RM fifth with Right Person, Wrong place 29,290 these are debut figures. In Korea according to the circle chart for best selling solo albums of 2024, Happy was second with 105 million sales and Muse was fourth with 906.6 thousand, RPWP 7th with 619 .9 thousand and Hope on the street 10th with 532.7 thousand. His album was only released in November 15th so did well. Jimin’s album was released ion July 19th and is great and ‘Who’ is one of my favourite songs, but too many people underestimate Jin. He has achieved Platinum in Japan with Happy and 3X Platinum in Korea. Jimin achieved Gold in Japan for Muse and 2X Platinum in Korea, which means he actually did outsell Muse in both countries even if it was out only in November. He may not be as popular in the USA but in Korea and Japan he is very popular and in many other countries as well. His new single is already number one on the European ITunes chart, number two on the World ITunes chart and Number three on the USA ITunes chart after 24 hours. All members have had brilliant solo careers of which I am proud of.
So basically, the stadium has to be there in great condition. It has to be safe for attendees and performers. And it has to have modern capabilities. And the country has to be safe, we don't want the artist to be kidnapped, robed and fans be harrased in the streets. Some countries are not worth the risk, people always ask : " come to my country" but do they stream and buy to show that their country shows up on the summary at the end of the year? Is not even his fault if he doesn't go to your country.
it comes down to money. tours are massively expensive and difficult, lugging sets and people around, being able to set up the stage the way you need, all the travel and visa arrangements for everyone you bring along. it makes my stomach hurt to think of how much they lost on the MOTS tour given EVERYTHING was done and paid for and shipped out to the various continents they'd be stopping in, then no tour. you go where you think it would yield enough profits to make it worth the trip. in the context of US acts, that means the west coast gets left out of many many tours, because our cities are few and far apart, whereas the east coast cities are at most a day's travel in between.
I wouldn't doubt that Europe, India and South America as well as other places that they have talked about wanting to go to or actually had planned to go to on the Map of the Seven tour are on the list for the BTS tour in 2026. That might have influenced Jhope's list if he knows those will be covered soon. Yes, there is so much that goes on behind the scenes for a tour to even happen and in today's world for shows like BTS do it can be a technical and logistic nightmare. Let us just be happy they are going anywhwere and that some will be on line which is probably the only way I will get to see Jhope and probably BTS even though they do tour my country.
I think the time it takes to do a world tour is significant too. In order to have a work life balance it can take several years to truly get to every desired venue.
BTS was scheduled to go to India when covid cancelled that tour. So were Spain and Belgium. I can't remember others on the list and I can't find it again.
Hi... I am from India and I love my BTS from the core of my heart... Truly speaking I sometimes do feel that India is still not ready to have artists as big as BTS in our country coz mainly for their security even though I am so desperate to see them perform in my country the most. We do have many proper huge stadiums... the biggest one being Nrendra Modi Stadium which is actually the largest Cricket stadium in the world but for concerts if these can be used is still a question mark but mostly the security is our only main concern... BTS did happen to have included India in their BTS's 2020 Map of the Soul world tour which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic as they even mentioned about this in their last live together... so there is a chance for them to visit us here but I still am protective about them.
I don't see any of the things mentioned here preventing them from visiting Europe though, and yet neither of them have played anywhere in Europe for six years. But don't get me wrong - it's not a question that should ever be directed at the guys themselves, it's solely a question for the agency/management. There's absolutely no need to make the guys feel bad but I would genuinely like to know the reasons. 🤔 💜
BTS have been on Hiatus for three years this June due to military and prior to that they did a few concerts between Covid and the military. During Covid they did two online concerts. They had plans prior to do a world tour including Europe which had to be cancelled due to Covid. What she is talking about are countries who are not normally tour agendas. Even so BTS has done a concert in Saudi Arabia. They are plans for them to tour Europe in their next tour. I think it’s unrealistic to say past six years because of the Covid restrictions they were unable to tour until 2022 but because of Jin military duties they went on hiatus mis 2022.
@alwenawillis8813 I'm truly not holding it against them. What I'm questioning in a "I would objectively like to know the company's reasoning" way is why LA and then later on LV, ie why only the USA? And neither Suga or J-Hope have Europe in their tour plans - both are tours in Asia and again: USA. I'm just genuinely curious as to why the USA. Why not Asia only? Or Asia and Europe? It's honestly just me being curious as to the thought process behind it and/or any obstacles.
If the artists are checking data from streaming platforms and not their actual fans then that's just a shame. I'm from South Africa and I can tell you the way all kpop fans show up to kpop events here are out of this world.
@@letsgrowsummo Not just streaming sites but also with Weverse they can see how many fans from each country have registered fans through Army registration. That will also influence everything. Australia has a small population and therefore our numbers are small compared to many countries but we have a dedicated fandom. I am hoping Australia will listed for the 2026 tour, if not I will try and get tickets to Singapore.
I researched India - it's the corruption apparently. The cost, and booking can be canceled without notice. Not sure about the other countries including those in Africa.

4:55 Hello...j-hope was the first one to release an album in 2024. The way this fandom keeps forgetting. 😭
Good point. ARMY went awol on HOTS v.1.
This is very educational. Thank you 😊

Indian Army's plus Seventeen Carats wanted them to do a concert in India.
They were coming and covid cancelled it.

Txt is going on a Europe tour.
Hybe groups will start touring in Europe.
@nicoleloss7987 I was talking about BTS though. I don't know when TXT was in Europe last.

@@imajinallthepurple TXT was here in 2024 I found out too late otherwise I would have gone same with Seventeen.
