As an Indian personally I started to love japan only because of anime but as time passed and I researched and I felt that Japan is a great place with Amazing culture. Also one day I would like to visit that place.
Totally relatable.... I started to research about Japan after getting introduced to animes... And the more I search about Japan, more I fall in love with it....

One of the reasons i appreciate Japan is the way they progressed so fast in terms of tech and infrastructure after WW2 And also because their older army helped us Indians get freedom
My impression of Japan growing up: 1. Punctuality - how the trains are always on time, people come to meetings right in time 2. Discipline - crossing streets 3. Respect for seniors - how seniors in office are respected. 4. Hard Working - on how they could re-build their country from the nuclear disaster. 5. Cleanliness - the fascination for cleanliness everywhere, including all those toilets with different buttons. 6. Hi-tech - My Sony Walkman or Nikon camera came from there. Impression is now as strong as ever, but learnt more: 1. Anime - what can I say here. Kimi No Na wa, anyone? 2. Idol sub-culture - Hmm. 3. Kawaii fascination 4. Aging population with birth rate not keeping up. 5. Metal music scene - X Japan, Babymetal 6. Geo- political tensions with Russia & China 7. Food - Being very different from India. 8. Women - Of course they are beautiful, and don't seem to age (neoteny), but also about the societal pressure to fit in a particular image. How Gyaru culture was a rebellion against the same. Sorry, if this half-baked.
As an Indian who wants to work in japan as a teacher in the future,This made me feel that "NIHON WA HONTONI SUBARASHIDESU!!"....Ore wa hontoni NIhon ga daisukidesu!!!
It can either be "ore wa Hontou ni nihon ga daisuki da" or "watashi/boku wa Hontou ni nihon ga daisuki desu". Ore and Da is used casually and watashi/boku and desu is used formally.
@@ImDayv27 I read that watashi is mostly used by females or just femenine and boku/ore are mostly used by males or just masculine and also that ore/boku/watashi are different dialects but i tend to use em all usually cuz i just like em all...i would like to know if i can actually use 'da' instead of 'desu' as you said

True. I'm from Nagaland and In 2019 when I visited Kolkatta, the uber driver asked me where I'm from. I told him where I'm from, he was a bit confused and thought Nagaland was like a country, so I tried to explain to him in my broken Hindi that Nagaland is an Indian state which is also a nieghbour of Assam. He was still a bit confused about Assam. But he seemed to get it eventually. On my second visit to Kolkatta, I took an Ola cab and the driver had the same confusion. haha. Though I'm a bit of an introvert, I really had a fun time practising the little Hindi I know with them.

I think most of the Indians know a fair amount about Japanese culture because of animes like Doraemon, Shinchan etc. which have a massive following in India.
@@emotionalrabbit531 although those anime are the best, they're very unrealistic and do not show Japan's day to day life. Whereas, shows like Doraemon and Shinchan are like sitcoms which are very popular in india.
Knowledge at its finest. Cartoons are low standards compared to Anime's. So calling it a cartoon doesn't feel that right. People who wait for Animes don't really care because either they just don't know what's happening around the world or just hear majority calling Animes with their respective names. Calling Animes cartoons is just rare in the Weeb community, but is common to parents who barely don't care Anime's.
@@anisekaieddomtorreto9588 first of all as an veteran Anime fan i know anime has better plot and story telling and they also pick dark themes for adults bt you know from where anime are inspired from??? from cartoon only specially from "walt Disney" even some of the earliest anime ever produced have its similarities with looney toons animation and other Disney animation it is only after 80's and 90's anime got it's unique style which we know today.. maybe for some dumb weebs around the world it is offence for calling anime "cartoons" bt for japanese it is just animation whether it is your typical western animation or japanese animation which they call anime
@@anisekaieddomtorreto9588 and one more thing you really said cartoons are low standard?? if you mean by animation then stop judging them all by your chota bheem or motu patlu image... their are catoons or pixar, DreamWorks, disney whose animation way above many animes " ofcourse becouse of high budget " some of the examples are kung fu pandas, wall E, UP, Mulan, etc.... even tho i agree when it comes to story there are less cartoon bt there are a lot of them actually bt they are not that popular because of this image around the world which ppl have in their mind abt " catoons are for kids".. bt their are catoons abt human physiology behaviour, suicidal thoughts and may more mature themes which you typically watch in your TV's
*Answer for* [9:33]: Yes, I've been very very much interested in living in Japan from as far as I can remember. *Answer for* [9:40]: The first thing comes to mind is Nissin cup ramen. Otherwise I've never experienced authentic Japanese meals/food. (Might just be me) *Answer for* [9:45]: YES, I find Japanese women very attractive. I will express my feelings freely even if the girl is shy and can't convey straight up. If I ever see slight discomfort between us then I'll just address it because I know her nature is shy. Many Indian girls are very shy when it comes to expressing their feelings, so there's no problem for me in that matter. I want a Japanese gf and it doesn't even matter if she's small or tall or a bit chubby. Personality matters the most too. (The woman who asked the question, Black and White stripes girl, and the Gyaru with blond hair falls under my radar of attractiveness) *Answer for* [10:22]: No. I don't think that there are 200 types of curry. At most I've come across around 12-13 types of curry but that's it. If any Indian woman knew 200 types of curry then she would be in world records and Gordon Ramsay would be her apprentice by now and the world would address her as *Curry Goddess*. *Answer for* [10:55]: I LOVE spicy food. I'm a die hard fan of spicy food. I don't get satisfaction if my nose and eyes are not running. BUT I'm a die hard fan of sweets too. There are so many times that my mouth wants more sweets but my stomach doesn't. I really like bland foods too which have a low amount of spiciness because it gives the taste buds a bit of rest and gentle feeling. Japanese food won't be a problem for Indian people in my opinion. *Answer for* [11:08]: Anime community is very small in India. Most popular series in India are HANDS DOWN Dragon Ball, Doraemon, Bayblade, and Crayon Shin-chan series. There are no Anime studios in India but we do have some studios who targets small children via LOW QUAITY cartoons. There was a studio who got rights to make their own timeline of Doraemon but the studio couldn't even come close to the quality of Japanese studios and the studio suddenly stopped making the series in India and I think that they lost the rights. One reason the community is small is that the kids/teenagers are too busy studying. Another reason is watching them in English Dub or English Sub, which in itself is a LONG story for future. Another reason is that people are too much interested in Western culture and western web series that they don't find fun in watching Anime. I turned 8 peoples into Otaku and I'm proud of it. I recently completed my 153rd Anime (not counting seasons). *Reply for* [9:37]: Aapse milke bhi acha laga. (Nice to meet you too)

I love how Japanese ppl are so polite and not disrespectful even they are wary or not sure about something they point out they are scared or not sure about it instead of being offensive like Americans. I❤️Japan
Americans are really something else, no one is like the Americans. Yesterday I watched an interview with a famous Japanese game developer and the interviewer was American. I swear, after every answer of the Japanese person, the interviewer added HIS personal thoughts or answers, to which the Japanese person always only just nodded and didn't say anything (cause he didn't care, and neither did the audience). Their self-centered mindest is deeply rooted in the Americans' heads, and it shows in almost all apsects of life.

It's a constant struggle, each generation anew, to teach people to pick up their garbage and companies to keep to regulations and rules. I wished China and India were cleaner... ;(
I strongly believe many Indians are ready to explore Japanese culture. There are so many people who watch Japanese Anime and slowly got connected with their culture. I am one among them.
A1. Not all Indians, but those who are well acquainted with the japanese culture, especially the weebs definitely wish to visit the place. I myself would like to live in Japan for some time. A2. We have sushi, ramen, soups, etc. Obviously barely a few are authentic and our markets have already been flooded with chinese food, indian style that too. Japanese food will take some effort to enter our restaurants, let alone our vocabulary!! I am up for it. A3. Bit of a let down on this one, without wanting to sound racist, here it is: with advent of k-pop culture and its global appreciation, indians, men and women have started to develop a liking towards korean people. Now this population is very little given the exposure to such kinds of entertainment. And if the japanese/chinese etc. are willing to be called to fall under similar categories, well you get it. But yes, we are on a positive trajectory when it comes to international 'affairs', extending now towards the colloquial asians! A4. We are culturally similar. Not just our etiquettes, which i must accept we indians, being their originators, have forgotten but are back on track. Our family values, educational priorities, everything is theoretically similar. THe food, languages are different though, very much. Even our religions are not all that different. If I am not wrong, the shinto religion professes the existence of various kami (gods) and shinigami (reapers/death gods). They are essentially spirits, forest spirits, animal spirits, etc. Well many tribal regions of india still believe in similar deities. Moreover, we also believe in clans, clan gods, etc. We too have many colourful festivals, like many many. Our lord ganesh and lordess saraswati also have similar looking versions in japanese theology. clothes wise we are different, yet follow the similar folded clothing concept! A5. Id wish for my mom to be able to do that. But yes, given the sheer amount of different gravy dishes we have from kashmir to kutch to kanyakumari to shillong, one can say, if an indian woman or even a man were exert some effort, they would surely be knowing more than 200. A6. Food without spices in india is just cattle feed or someone on a diet. setting aside the poverty ridden regions, indians are not much aware about the reality of the japanese food. for us, if its noodles, its maggi or hakka, if its soup, its sweet corn, tomato shorba or coconut flavoured, if its non veg, it wont be cooked without haldi/turmeric, etc. eVERYTHING , even chinese food in india has spices catered to our tastes. so japanese food will have to undergo some major changes for the indian tongue if its bland as they say. A7. Kids- shin chan, beyblade, pokemon, kiteretsu, doraemon, perman, ultra b, ninja hattori, hagemaru, most of them arent aired anymore ig rest- dragon ball z, my hero academia, jojo, naruto, death note, one piece, violet evergarden, attack on titan, demon slayer. basically those who do watch anime develop personal preferences. i, for example, never try to miss a studio ghibli production, makoto shinkai's works, romcoms, etc. A8.No, we have many cartoons with similar themes of tom and jerry, but no anime. not even the anime on ramayan was made in india due to pathetic political reasons
Ohhh I'm very happy to hear that! I thought the translation can be terrible, I worried it doesn't make any sense in Telugu😂 Thank you for your feedback!
now search for what koreans think of indians. the difference is of night and day. Japanese people never fail to fascinate with their open minded-ness and even just their manners and behavior towards other people and their cultures.
Not everything is daisies and roses. Japan has its negatives too. It's just that they may not be as prominent as the others. Being aware of both is imp.

So Hi Myself Lavya and I am Indian And I am gonna answer all the questions-------: 1)If Indians are interested in living in Japan?? Ans-: Yes there are so many Indians out there who want to live in Japan and I myself wants to live there so I am trying to get in Tokyo university of Japan................. 2) What kind of Japanese food available in India? Ans--: So there are many Japanese food items available in India. There are so many Japanese restaurant and I myself have tried sushi and miso soup once which was really delicious........ 3)Are Japanese women attractive to Indian man? Ans-: I have asked this question from my brother and he said that Japanese women are cute and I also asked my friend who is big fan of anime and his answer was same ant the thing he likes about them is that they are super shy which is cute......... 4)Can your mom make 200 dishes from spices??? Ans--: nice question and the answer is yes but there is not only curry my mom makes. Every Indian mom have a master chief inside her she can make anything either it pasta, pizza whatever you name but she will always give an Indian touch to that dish..... 5) what Indian think about Japanese food with no spices?? Ans-: It depends person to person there are people with low spice intolerance and people with high level intolerance. And Indians love to experience new flavors so some would love it and myself liked it. The thing which is also important is maybe it is not as original as food in Japan because you can't judge a country's food until and unless you have tried it in the respective country ......... 6)What kind of anime is popular among Indians? Ans-: Okay so there are many kids, teens as well as adults who love watching doraemon and shinchan. And teens in India are really big fan of anime like jujutsu kaisen, naruto, dragon ball z, black clover, demon slayer death note and the list goes on. I myself watch anime and my favorites are death note, jujutsu kaisen, shinchan doraemon, Tsurupika Hagemaru etc..... 7)Do they make anime in India? Ans--:Indian animation are called cartoons well there are so many like motu patlu ,chota bheem, pakdam pakdai, oggy and cockroaches ,little Krishna, haddi mera buddy and many more and these are the cartoons which I have seen........ Indians have a very good image of Japanese 🇮🇳🇯🇵
My impression of Japan growing up:
1. Punctuality - how the trains are always on time, people come to meetings right in time
2. Discipline - crossing streets
Impression is now as strong as ever, but learnt more:
1. Anime - what can I say here. Kimi No Na wa, anyone?
2. Idol sub-culture - Hmm.
3. Kawaii fascination
4. Aging population with birth rate not keeping up.
5. Metal music scene - X Japan, Babymetal
6. Geo- political tensions with Russia & China
7. Food - Being very different from India.
8. Women - Of course they are beautiful, and don't seem to age (neoteny), but also about the societal pressure to fit in a particular image. How Gyaru culture was a rebellion against the same. Sorry, if this half-baked.

I think most of the Indians know a fair amount about Japanese culture because of animes like Doraemon, Shinchan etc. which have a massive following in India.
Most of us knows from watching Dragon ball z, Naruto, one piece etc.
@@emotionalrabbit531 although those anime are the best, they're very unrealistic and do not show Japan's day to day life. Whereas, shows like Doraemon and Shinchan are like sitcoms which are very popular in india.
@@suryanshsingh5435 yeah you are right, but anime like doraemon and shinchan are quite accurate depiction of daily Japanese lifestyle
Oh no, Shinchan and Doraemon are called cartoons by our parents, until we educate and enlighten them with our Anime obsession that it is an Anime.
True😌😌
lol only 15 yr old care abt calling animation by different names .... most of the seasoned anime fans don't give a fish abt what other ppl call it
Knowledge at its finest.

9:38 from every Indian: "Hume bhi aapse milke khushi hogi!"
"We will be obliged to meet you too"
*Answer for* [9:33]: Yes, I've been very very much interested in living in Japan from as far as I can remember.
*Answer for* [9:40]: The first thing comes to mind is Nissin cup ramen. Otherwise I've never experienced authentic Japanese meals/food. (Might just be me)
*Answer for* [9:45]: YES, I find Japanese women very attractive. (The woman who asked the question, Black and White stripes girl, and the Gyaru with blond hair falls under my radar of attractiveness)
*Answer for* [10:22]: No.

I strongly believe many Indians are ready to explore Japanese culture. There are so many people who watch Japanese Anime and slowly got connected with their culture. I am one among them.
I'm marking my presence too🙋
A7. Kids- shin chan, beyblade, pokemon, kiteretsu, doraemon, perman, ultra b, ninja hattori, hagemaru, most of them arent aired anymore ig
rest- dragon ball z, my hero academia, jojo, naruto, death note, one piece, violet evergarden, attack on titan, demon slayer. basically those who do watch anime develop personal preferences. i, for example, never try to miss a studio ghibli production, makoto shinkai's works, romcoms, etc.
A8.No, we have many cartoons with similar themes of tom and jerry, but no anime. not even the anime on ramayan was made in india due to pathetic political reasons

So Hi Myself Lavya and I am Indian
And I am gonna answer all the questions-------:
1)If Indians are interested in living in Japan??
The thing which is also important is maybe it is not as original as food in Japan because you can't judge a country's food until and unless you have tried it in the respective country
.........

If it's work, what kind of job are you planning?
I'm planning for work as im a agricultural student and I like the agriculture system in Japan so I hope I find a job in agricultural sector 😅
Hows the agricultural sector in japan ?
I hope it's great but I'm not sure🤔 but Hokkaido and north area of Japan are famous for agriculture stuff.

It was awesome how he said don't say curry 😂😂😂😂😂🔥
Thanks! I love curry but I didn't wanna hear that typical word. haha
@@lowkeyjapan 😂
About the question of Indian moms making 200 curry: well the difination of curry is different in overseas, according to foreign definition, I can make more than 100 types and my mother can definitely make more than me and she is definitely not into cooking, I'll surpass her one day...
11:08 there are so many people in India who watch anime a lot but some of them says that its a Cartoon and refuse to watch
But i do watch anime and its kind of fun too.

Answering the girls question :
1. Well depends on the person . My mom can probably make around 50-70 dishes
2. I personally like Japanese cuisine . Sushi (prawn Maya , I don’t like salmon :P) with some soya and wasabi (love wasabi) and prawn tempura.
3. I am a huge anime buff : my fav anime would be my hero academia , naruto and magi.
Hope that helps :)

Both of my daughters are really crazy about Japan and anime. They prefer to eat Japanese food every day. They were raised in the Philippines. They are more interested in Japanese culture than their own Indian culture. They'll be shocked to hear about how Indian culture and tradition become the basis for modern-day Japanese culture.
When she says "I saw a video on UA-cam of an Indian women reacting to JUJUTSU KAISEN"
Omg😰 I need to watch that video toooo
5:00 correct me if im wrong, but indian and japanese culture meet at the point of DO NOT WEAR SHOES IN THE HOUSE U FOOL
1:50 I can’t believe she mentioned Assam Tea 😍
The girl who asked how Japanese women are seen in Indian perspective, one thing I can say is that they are real keepers and just want to be respected and treated equally.
Also, I really prefer Japanese culture anytime over other countries.
"My Dream is -WORLD Peace"!!-Love it!!
Loved the Video. Love from India. Will be in Tokyo in April. 😊
Yes Indian who love anime are very much interested in the Japanese culture 😁 lots of ❤ for 🇮🇳 India
Loved the video! I do know of an international couple (Japanese woman and Indian man) who have been married for more than 40 years now and are happily living in India ! Also I love watching anime and reading the manga like gintama, piano in the forest, horimiya card captor sakura, inuyasha, bleach and the list can go on and on 😂
