Rags S ending involves him cleansing the dungeons of all the macabre souls, including the new gods, however enki's S ending, requires you to have killed valtiel and have ascended on the throne. So its likely that they mightve teamed up, along with moonless

I'll respond, fair and square. I actually didn't know that the Harvestman and the Lord of Flies were made by Valtiel. I also didn't know "decollated" was a word for "beheaded," but that's a bit besides the point lol
As veteran of this game I did know all of these, additional secret scene: Ever seen how Nash'rah reacts to the new gods answer when you ask about him with him in ya party? ;)
As far as I'm concerned the last Fear and Hunger patch was in 2021 and the first for Termina in December 2022. The fact you can ask the new gods about Termina means Miro had incredible planning and foresight for the 2nd game. That's love for the craft right there.
I love the idea that once a New God goes to the Hall of the New Gods, they're trapped there, forces to watch. But also granted sight of the events to come.
I always felt the hollow pig was a reference to the Brazen Bull, a torture device in the distant past where a person was put inside a metal oven shaped like a bull which a fire was lit beneath to slowly heat it up
SPOILER: about your question on the fifth secret. i think the new gods cant really see in the future and arent all knowing but pretty much close too it. the reason they know about future events is that they exist for a long time but not with time like we know/understand it as time is clearly manipulatable in this world. also these new gods ascended about the same time the cube of the depths brings us back into the past, around the time the fellowship arrived, long after the lizardmen lived in mahabre and after time the grand library was build, and we know it was build/established by humans. this means if you want to become a new god after the throne is gone you need too sit on it in the past, and you always travel back the same amount of time. this also means people travel back become gods, rule for a bit and then get killed by someone from the future and become new gods again. and by the amount of new gods in the hall of gods this cycle probably happened many many many times. you could think Termina would disprove the timeloop theory but we know enkis S ending is canon, he disagreed becoming a new god and probably destroyed the timeloop and made sure the cube of the depths will never be used again. ths makes the most sense in my opinon for all reasons stated and several minor others aswell. so long story short, they cant see in the future they just already are in the future, the present and the past. but still not so far in the past that they know how the world was in its young ages and not so far in the future they know things that would happen after Termina
But what about the new gods showed in Termina like the Heartless? How did they ascend without going back in time? As far as I understand it, the throne is the only means of becoming a new god. Am I missing something?
@@walterferranti163 i dont know for sure either and you are right. i think they somehow left the hall of gods and where present, but forgoten in the first game. someone found out about them bringing them back in the real world, chambara (the tormented one) also makes an apperance in Termina in and outside the hall of gods even tho he got "killed" and should have been forgoten but brought back by higher ups or kaiser himself. Aswell as the heartless one. Could have other reasons tho
I know switching engines is usually difficult... But I'm pretty sure we could expect the Fear and Hunger 3: Marina Fighting Dinosaurs in Space drop kinda anytime. My lord, I clicked on the video and paused it to watch after I was done cleaning up a bit, and during cleaning I accidentally skipped right to the gauntlet section . So I saw the intro, went cleaning, continued watching, and saw you phase stepping around in the gauntlet, dying a lot, and then going "Well, if you knew all of these, then I might not have any secrets videos to make anymore", only for the credits to roll. I was convinced you went crazy for a second.
I'm not certain harvestmen were made by Valtiel. If you use a soul stone, you get a lesser soul, but other creations of Valteil such as lords of flies, do not have souls because they are imperfect creations. I can't remember if embryos do, but in that case it could be because of their unique circumstance where they are also born from Valtiel's umm ... biology. My theory with the harvestmen is that they were clay statues coming to life like the Old Guardian, created similarly. I had completely forgotten about the pig statue, it's so bizarre. I thought it was connected to the Pinecone pig for some reason, I guess due to name, but there's no support for that
Did you know? You can talk to the dark priests if you're wearing the priest's robe. The two priests standing near each other will share some useful bits of lore with you or teach you how to use an empty scroll. But the third priest, who is not guaranteed to spawn like the other two, is different. He says: O LORD KILL HERETICS This is similar to what we write in empty scrolls to have Alll-Mer grant us whatever we ask for, so I'm sure you're wondering what will happen if you write it into an empty scroll. That's the fun part. Nothing happens. I tried using it in front of him hoping it would get some form of a reaction, but nope. I guess unlike the other 2 priests, this guy offers us nothing of value. Other than letting us know that he's super down for a holy war.
4:25 this statue looks like one of those old torture/execution methods where they would put people inside and light a fire under it to torture or unalive them.
Actually Harvestmen aren't Valteil creation If we use Soul Stone on Lord of the Flies or Manequin, we will recieve no soul since it's artificial life created by Valteil However, using Soul Stone on Harvestman will give us a lesser soul, meaning they are an actuall living beings In notes we find in Grand Library, we learn that Valteil couldn't get further with his research on creating life which frustrated him greatly Considering he only documentes Manequins and Lord of the Flies, it's safe to say he didn't had any breakthrough after that Harvestmen are an interesting creatures, even New Gods don't give us anything concrete about them and it it's unlikely that they were created by Older Gods since they arleady had figurines
maybe the statue of a pig implies something to do with the trojan horse? since it is hollow, and next to it is the statue of gro goroth disguising himself as a human?
I have two thoughts about the first secret, Alll-mer's Necromancy. My first thought is to wonder if Necromancy is a Gro'goroth spell, or a Sylvian spell. It's been shown before how resurrected ghouls can participate in the act of Marriage, and perhaps the spell was first made by the gods after "realizing that they could never love her the same way she loved them." My Second thought is thinking back to a previous Doog video. Loosely I recall one of the proposed ideas was that Gro-Goroth potentially "wore the skin" of Alll-Mer, *Possibly* in an attempt to woo his wife. What if The All-Mer corpse you encounter reacts to Resurrect that way because that part of it is the only piece that is still human, the only part that Gro'goroth thought he would need to be Human.
Every time i see a video like this i get the impression that these are dirty gods, like the divine equivalent of the table of freaks that every high school has.
I don't have a secret to share but I do have an important question. Who took the Cube of the Depths out of the dungeons of Fear and Hunger and left it in Vinland and why? Also, if New batch of New gods aspirants: Chambara, Valtiel, Nosramus, etc needed the Cube of the Depths to open the Tomb of the Gods that lead into Mahabre, how DID they open it, given that the Cube was in Vinland. EDIT: How did ANY of the New Gods opened the gate to Mahabre? That is a question that has bothered me for an entire year.
The pig in mahabre might be a proto-pinecone pig. It could also be a kind of brazen bull/bronze bull kind of deal, given its being hollow and this being Funger.
Theory about the pig statue: This is just personally what I get out of it, but Gro-Goroth's statue gives me shepherd vibes, mainly the Long cane. Maybe Gro-Groroth is the shepherd and humans are the pigs in the same way that in Christianity, Jesus is a shepherd and humanity is his flock. There is other references to Christianity in FH so It could be a perversion of the idea. The god of destruction leading the pigs to be slaughtered. (However, a possible hole in this theory is Al-Murh already being a clear analogue for Jesus)
There were things before Alll-mer. Gro-goroth could have also "helped" humanity. One of games' themes is inability of humans to do shit, and higher powers helping them to advance
