Aqua band is really a part of my life, my childhood life that can never forget. I am now 28 years old this coming June but still hearing their songs is just reminding me of those old days. Greetings from Philippines!
As a metal head who listens to bands like Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth... I have, and would own Aquarium again. My Oh My was my favorite song on that album.
I have the album on my phone. I love the album. I put it on every time I go to sleep. It's an awesome album. My Oh My is one of my favourites off the album as well.
I'm not sure that her voice is doing too well unfortunately. In Barbie Girl on this recording she didn't hit the high notes, those were mostly hit by the backup singers. It wasn't quite as obvious in My Oh My. This isn't intended to disrespect her, people generally have vocal changes over time, and that hits even harder for those that have used their voices heavily as singers do. Her voice also appears to have had some affectation over the years for that sound she used in the nineties, which might have further contributed to issues two decades later. I am slightly surprised that they didn't shift the song down to a somewhat lower key, most of the audience might not have noticed.
Ohhhh these songs take me back to a much better and simpler time....and the voices don't seem to have changed at all! Still rocking it out hard and can still get a crowd pumping!
Hans van Poelgeest i think they still are quit good Live. They are at least LIVE and don't use as much playback as many of the artists does in we love the 90's tour 😀

Do people really expect her to have a computer voice like in the studio versions??? She sounds amazing here and of course her voice has aged a bit but it is still really good...
she actually sang high pitch when she was young before she joined Aqua, she was actually a good singer she didn't always sing with the bubble gum pop style when she was young

If they ever come back to Canada and come to my province, I'll be going to the show. Their concerts seem really fun. My Oh My, Lollipop and Barbie Girl are some of my favourite songs to crank up in my car. Lol. They're an awesome band and I hope I get to see them live someday.
This is fucking depressing, I loved this band when I was younger. They seem so washed up and drugged out of this mind, also it's kinda shit they use a backing track to make thier live vocals sound less shit.
I love Aqua and they seriously brought it. SO many critics. Rene seemed to damage her vocals early on, but continued to perform. You know you wouldn't be up on that stage rocking it like her. Aqua dominated this performance!
+Tennesee_Whiskey but it is not just the voice ... the whole track sound more rock than dance.... i guess is because they're live... (aqua were hardcore rockers before getting into the dance scene)

У них и новые песни есть, которые в стиле и ничуть не хуже старых! К примеру песня про 80е. А старые песни они в разных стилях исполняют, это здесь заказали в старом стиле спеть, да чтобы Лин оделась поприличнее, а не как в порнофильмах!

I think they are doing great although Clause isn't with them anymore, he was the one that produced their music style and appearance style and made Aqua what we know it to be. But Good on them for trying to maintain the original Aqua for as long as they have. I would really love for him (Clause) to come back and give us one more 100% pure Aqua just one last time.
i renember seeing them playing live at a mall center in denmark in the early 2000s :) or in the late 90s i cant renember the date atm i was a little kid
