No City game on Saturday so took in the Bolton v Carlisle game, can I just say fair play to the Carlisle fans, magnificent in numbers and noise putting most Premier League teams to shame, always thought they were a sleeping giant, Saturday didn’t change that opinion. Respect from this Manchester City season ticket holder.
If you think our away crowd was good think of the 1,400 Carlisle fans who were left stranded at Carlisle station when news came in Glasgow to Preston line had been closed and left them all stranded

Mainly because we haven’t got too many games that are as close to us as the likes of Bolton and Preston. Most of our away games are 4+ hours away whereas Bolton is an hour and a half. We usually sell out the closer away games where we’ve played the last 10 years or so (Morecambe, Hartlepool etc)
as a bolton fan living in carlisle. im never gonna hear the end of this result. being in the stadium the carlisle fans made a great account of themselves. just wish they were as loud at home. i do frequent brunton park from time to time and its a good place to watch football. good luck to carlisle and I'm looking forward to the reverse fixture in January where at least i can just walk the 10 mins to the stadium and watch the wanderers.
You mentioned relegation battle a few times haha. Carlisle have been in every game all season apart from the derby one and we have had 5 draws that were close. We are only 11/12 games in and played a lot of the better teams in the league already so not worried at all.
Bolton were outplayed most of the game except the last 15 IMO. We chanted all game, even when youse scored. UTB. See you in January at brunton park 👌

Annan Athletic fan here. Carlisle’s number 4 Moxon rebuilt his career with us in the fourth tier of Scottish football after dropping down the divisions from starting at Carlisle to then Queen Of The South, and was brilliant for us, we miss him badly but class to see him doing well for Carlisle. On the Wanderers front I was at Bolton v Wycombe just before the pandemic and you’s are in a much better place now than then. Love the content Thogden, keep it up.

After watching Wanderers for 59 years this ranks as one of the worst performances I have seen from a Bolton side. I have no problems when they lose to a better side, and go down fighting. Granted they are having problems with injuries and suspensions. But what maddens and saddens me was a similar performance as it was against Wigan a couple or so weeks ago as in no desire to win the game, no hunger, no passion and they simply rolled over and died. Carlisle and their fans wanted the victory and to me that was the difference between the two sides.
i support Carlisle and Bolton were not good in defense but in the final third you were amazing
