Thanks bro,non directional relay only consider the current but directional relay consider voltage and current angle, depends upon the angle relay will calculate the fault direction as per our setting, directional relay very very sensitive compare to non directional relay

Remember this..Current always goes to short circuit path..ok va..So if the fault occure near to the genarator in grid..the fault current will be taken from our genset....beause generator is an Star connected system.So to.Protect the genset from grid fault.These relays are used....
