Fascinating video Tom. Interesting seeing the route before full reopening on your google earth. I traveled down the line to Galashiels a couple of years ago and I was amazed how packed the six car train was ,which made it obvious the route should never have closed in 1969. It's a pity the Scottish Government didn't double track all of the line either ,it's short sighted and if the line is once again reopened all the way to Carlisle as it should for the people of Hawick ,they will perhaps think again of doubling throughout.
