I so agree!! I have an iPad and frankly just the space all this paper planning takes up is crazy!!! I haven’t purchased decorative sticker books in awhile, but I have bought box books. I am just tired of the space this takes up!! I mean we don’t do 💿 anymore everything is streamed, why not planning!! It’s something I plan to switch to in the new year so these videos will really be helpful!! I will DM you for sites you recommend for my digital journey!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Watching some of your older videos, and I wanted to comment on this. I made the switch too and couldn't be more happy! I also love that I can keep changing things until I'm satisfied, as I'm a perfectionist too.
I can also relate to being dragged into needing to track things and write things down that are redundant. A planner has to work for US, not the other way around. It took me a while to realize that.

Hey Jess! 💕🎶❤️😍 I e been going back to watch some of your older videos and couldn’t resist this one. Girl, I totally get where you’re coming from! I’ve been doing the paper thing for quite a few years, and totally get the whole sticker craze, needing all the tools, and was always so guilty of planner hopping. Then, at the end of the year, I would see all these empty paper pages and would be kicking myself. It’s crazy how you can develop quite a collection, and it adds up both financially and in physical space. Now, there are certain things I still love using paper for, such as my longform journal writing, which I do every day. Being an avid fountain pen enthusiast and collector, I simply can’t get away from that. 🤣 But for a good chunk of things, I go digital all the way. I started doing that early last year and have really been enjoying it so much. In terms of stickers, I’m just as much of an addict with digital stickers as I was with paper, so that is a weakness. 😀🤣🤣 However, I don’t have as much guilt because you can use the stickers as many times as you want so I don’t consider it as much of a consumable product as paper is. You get a nice bang for your buck. 😀 It’s funny because I never thought I would go digital when it came to planning. Before I got into it, I watched a few videos and just shook my head, thinking, “I don’t get it.“ The bug finally bit me though, and off to the races I went. 🤣 As far as anyone making the switch, I say, different strokes for different folks, and each person has to do what feels right to them. What’s most important is to find a system you are happy with, period. I enjoy watching both paper and digital planners and what’s most important to me is that the person is happy with whatever choice they make. I can say I have it mild to moderately at times and as you know, it’s no fun. I started paper planning in January too! And by March, I switched to digital (Using Luxbook as well
😊) I liked decorating too much and paper became a money drain. And my used stickers were gone forever.
I absolutely love digital (though I do spend quite a bit on digital stickers now 😂😂😂 but not nearly as much!). I use this planner for faith and budgeting as well. A nice all in one

I so needed to see this. I am so deep in paper planning and spent so much money😢. Im slowly converting to digital. When the time is right, I will sell off what I can to upgrade my device. There is still something about stickers and paper I will love and still use. FOMO is gone, not buying anymore paper stickers. Great video.

I relate to this so hard! I made the decision to switch to digital planning. Like you said, the FOMO and feeling like having to buy all the stickers, washi, etc adds up!! It was becoming more of a hassle than an enjoyment 😢

Hello!! Glad I found your channel because I have been looking for someone who uses this planner for the longest time. And like you, I also was a Happy Planner Girl. I started around the beginning of the pandemic. Being at home or work and pregnant I needed a hobby. It became very expensive and I needed everything, all the planners, stickers, and tools and storage stuff. It just became too much to handle. I found digital planning a couple of years ago and it's cheaper and way more forgiving when you make mistakes. I love it.

$170 for stickers? 🤯 I mean people probably think I’m crazy for the $ I spend on makeup 😂 but wow I could never. I’m brand new to paper planning so I’m going to stick with it until I figure out if it works for me or not but I’ll still watch your videos to hear you talk and get budgeting inspo! I don't know how anyone keeps up with more than 1 planner unless (a) the process is part of their job, or (b) they have room to make spending time on their planners an absolute priority. I have been obsessed with planning for 7 years now and I cannot keep up with more than one. The only other thing I have is a free form notebook journal (that doesn't force me to write every day) because the truth is, I have no more than 15 minutes a day on a good day to update my planner; and I am busy and under pressure enough to need 97% of my time to either work/housekeep or fully decompress. If I put pressure on myself to fill up and use multiple planners daily or weekly, I would lose my mind and lose all motivation.
Digital planning made it all possible for me. I couldn’t do it with paper

Awwwww thanks you soooo much!!! I binge watched ONLY Luxbook in the beginning of my planning journal. Literally watched all her videos twice. If you’re looking for a more functional planning style you can check out Planning to Prosper. For another decorative and out of the box planning style you should check out CalypsoPlanning. Also PlannerGirlMek is a similar planner style to me with some functional added. For freebies, Luxbook has a vault you can get to through her instagram. CalypsoPlanning is where most of mine come from and you get access to her vault by signing up to her free email list. She’ll send the password to the vault. Hope this helps!!!
