It would have been faster if you would add another column and just use vlookup function instead. I know it was because this could be use for large dataset that may be the idea begind it. Isn't it? and thank you so much for your work sir.
Yes, the idea is that this process once set can be repeated many times. Also, it can be connected to dataset sources (such as databases) directly without getting into Excel. In most cases you will see that most things that can be done in Power Query can be done easily in Excel, but the benefit of PQ is that it can handle a lot more data, connect directly to many data sources, and the process once set can be refreshed easily
Thank you for the video. When I merge report 1 (RentRoll) and Report 2 (Roster), I didn’t get ‘The selection has matched 441 out of the first 441 rows’. The numbers don’t match. How can I fix it? I know the Roster Report has customers who are on hold. But the rent roll doesn’t include customers on hold. How can I add customers on hold in the merge report please? Thank you!
What if the two tables have different no. Of rows? For ex: table A has 10 rows later I have table B (update of table A) with 15 rows Is it possible to merge table A with table B and still show all rows!? Or should we check the table which has max. no. Of rows and then merge it with table with less no. Of rows!?
I gotta say I have learnt more about excel in just 3 modules. Terrific!!

i cant find the "from table range"
Same job you can do with vlookup?
Yes you can, but Power Query makes it rrally easy in can the data expands/changes. Also, Power Query is a lot faster with large datasets
Thanks so much.
