Devaka was right at 33:40, I placed the curve like this in severe timetrouble, recognizing no monastery with a road was left. But I didn't notice at that point that actually ALL monasteries were out... The 2nd game didn't went too well. For some reason I always start playing differently in high stake games. Normally I always score points points points and let my opponent finish big cities. But in the 2nd game I didn't, and that cost me the game. Plus there were a lot of seemingly random decisions that could have worked out better than what happened in the game, e.g. placing the dorito at 1:05:45 on the other side, scoring 4 citypoints at 1:16:00 and block the field connection 1 move later (there was no defense with the tile drawn by Fabian), or just drawing the full road tile throughout the 2nd game. Anyway, no reason to search for excuses, Fabian played fabulous!
