That is the sound of rock. Thick, chunky, killer sound
Such an Iconic guitar..The Gibson Flying V... I Really dig the opening riffs... very Hendrix.
Sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?
I was stupid lost my account password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Skyler Quinton Instablaster =)
I spied, (could not touch) a prototype V at Gruhn Guitars in the 90's. It was way up on a top shelf, standing in its case. $157,000. Out of reach on so many levels.
Your demos are a joy to listen to Lemmo. Doesn't matter what make the guitar is, you seem to get the best out of it!! Kudos.
That was f’n awesome Lemmo! What a killer guitar. Great sounding pick-ups. Somebody will get a really cool instrument👍🤟
Happy Birthday NORM 🎂🎂🎂
My dream guitar
Back after a long absence and what do I behold, aside from a killer looking Korina V? Well, Mr. Lemmo hasn't changed too much, still killing it with next dimension riffs while making look no more complicated than tying his shoelaces. The Store looks the same, less people obviously, same Ikea couch. I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year's, and I hope everyone is keeping well and surviving through these weird times. As always Jen doing a fantastic job with limited equipment,...you're looking well Jen, is that a new shirt, it' sweet!!
Lemmo,i must say, you're not only introducing us to great and beautiful guitars, the way you're playing them, making those guitars realy special.
You're tone, feel and sound,i appriciate very much, you must be an artist.
I don't miss Mark Agnessi at all.
Ho lee shee it! That last run with those (what were those...) harmonics (?)! Amazing!
Now that's a cool guitar , not just the flying V shape but the korena , great color , great wood , great sound , the whole Jimi Hendrix , Lenny Kravitz vibe nice crunch and growl , a big dog bark , but very funky and it looks balanced , unlike a lot of V's which ar top heavy , thi one looks like it's farily even , very cool , gerat demo , a alwyas , luv it.
Wow!!!! Amazing!!!! Another old Gibson. What a surprise!
It doesn’t matter who buys this guitar, Lemmo will always be it’s father
What a fantastic guitar.on my bucket list
Iconic tone .sustain signature of rock...
A damn fine rock n roll machine.
Sick sounds coming out of that thing ...awesome lemmo
Normally, I hate these guitars ... but, "The Lemmo", can make
a broom handle and a pie plate sound great .... on my Powerball list.
Absolutely Killer is right !!! Freakin' Gorgeous guitar!
Became a fan of Ibanez Rocket Roll Sr's (looks pretty much like this) around the time this guitar was made.
Bought one and a few months later, GP is running an ad for This guitar titled "Airborne Again" with the option to buy a poster of the ad which i did !! Never saw a Gibson example but love the Ibanez.
Very authentic tone!
Whoever bought the explorer from the other day should get this one. Would make a sweet pair. Nice job Michael.
Killer! Thanks guys!✌😁🤟
Awesome
That is an awesome guitar. 🤘
Hey remember playing the f#minor with henny recreate that. Js it's an awsome sound go lemmo
Very nice guitar.
LEMMO KILLED IT!
beautifull souding guitar.
I hear that Wishbone Ash tone everywhere in this guitar.
Looks like the one Mark took home awhile back. Sounds killer.
These korina Gibsons man! They just kill! Love them in V form too! However! Gotta do a Maton!
We want albert king when u play flying Vs
My youtube algorithm is reccomending albert king after this video so i really thought lemmo played some here😂
That's a keeper
I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed a FlyingV!!!!!!!
God I remember when these came out! I was a junior in high school. They retailed for a whopping $900 bucks with the case!!!!!!! seemed like a fortune back then relative to the value of money.. Kick myself every time I see one now. WHY did I not beg, borrow, and plead with the music store owner I worked for to get me one of these????
I hear ya, Joe. I was a starving college student living in Chicago and followed their release via the Vintage Guitar Bulletin published by Guitar Trader in Red Bank, N.J. The V, Explorer and Moderne were the holy trinity of this short-lived series.
Is Lemmo using a new amp? This flying V, and the last few guitars have sounded noticeably better. Maybe it's just the guitars.
Albert King would've loved that guitar!🤘
I think that through body strings make a difference on a V. I'm surprised they don't do it as often on the recently released ones.
Do you ever get guild or burns brian may red specials. Love to here you play one of them bad boys lemmo
Lemmo channeling the mojo!!!.....
Lemmo got that thrift store look going on everyday and it’s awesome man. Hope that’s a compliment
I think it’s his favorite things.
Tone-ville 🍻✌🏼
I wish Michael would play some Sabbath when he demo 's some of the guitars
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻
S.A.F drooling 🤤 over here.
A familiar of mine had one in the early 80's...sold it for less than 1000 dollars because of his adiction. He has been spotted still pulling his hear out.
What happened to the set list comment on these videos?
Any rough idea of the price of these 80s Korina Gibson from the Heritage series ?
How can you play that guitar and not play any Albert King songs? Love that guitar.
Get the guy a Limo and take him to In an Out for a double double cheeseburger !
So you’re saying to “Get Lemmo a Limo?” 😂
my favorite guitar!! but never made left handed just hurts my soul ... :(
True enough, but if there’s ever a guitar that could be played upside down, after a string change.....😉
Tone? Ummm...yes! Even though he didn't play it, my mind's ear still hears "Born Under a Bad Sign" any time I see a V.
For a second there I thought we were getting Castles Made of Sand for the first song
Same. Every time anybody strums and slides octaves up and down the neck. 😂
You rubbed some stank on that funk!✌💛🤘
Sheesh, that was like 105db!!
Albert Lee would be nice too!
Yeah just give me a few years and I’ll be able to get it 😂
Question???? Flying V 1981-82 was a Heritage.. 1983 was the Korina.. which is it?? Asking for a friend. ;o)
and they nailed it 3 piece body... come on now...
Hopefully good old Lemmo digs this more than he did the Korina Explorer....
Sounds like he did.
This happens when a great cool guitar meets a great player...
Better be some Albert King
I was disappointed 😞
@@WWxeroWW.WERWKWWF__WPWWW.-_WWW ...then go watch an Albert King video then
Same man. I really thought there would be albert king since its what my youtube is reccomending as the next video after this. UA-cam algorithm knows flying Vs better than norm lol 😂
Right everytime i see a V i hope for some albert king licks atleast a few
So its not just me
In the era of Mark Agnesi, he would always play the guitar itself through the amp used in the video. I miss hearing what the "actual guitar" sounds like without going through additional pedals. Or at least, it would be informative if Lemmo would tell us what pedals he's using. Lemmo is an excellent player but these videos are to inform us of how the "guitar" sounds. Not the pedals.
Agnesi used pedals on occasion too, to be fair.
These videos are for whatever NRG wants.
@@ryanfulldark2775 how do you mean?
@@Johnlemmo451 He said these videos are for hearing what the actual guitar sounds like. These videos are for whatever the creator wants it to be for. In any case, I hear the actual guitars just fine. No one tunes in to hear stale, dry demos. Almost no one plays that way, lol. I see this in the comments all the time, it irks me. These are amazing videos of amazing axes being wielded by a master. Just enjoy. 🤷🏼♂️
The case gives it away... Unless gibson sold balilaikas.
Or brooms for undercover witches.
Effortless...i think he likes this one
I see a "V" and think UFO!
HEY YEOW!!
IT SOUNDS LIKE A GUITAR...
HE DID IT
HE CRAPPED THE 3rd SONG
IT ALL SOUNDED GOOD
CARLOS GUITARLOS 90042
My wife bought me one in 82, it was unfortunately destroyed. 😢
Good demo but how about putting some guitar s threw a Marshall next time 😊😊😊
like I said with the recent Explorer post, I don’t care what it sounds like because it’s too ugly to play; in the year 2021 it’s easy to get a great sound with almost any pro guitar...there’s nothing about a Flying V or an Explorer that makes it sound any different than a Les Paul or even a good SG
Hope that wasn’t Marks!
can I have it?
1st comment!!!!!!!!!
🍪
Nope...
Awww, someone's hard up for a participation trophy. Yawn...
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Ottima la chitarra pessima la performance
