For the underwater shots, I filmed in 4K on both cameras. I realized later that the GoPro Hero 4 Silver only records at 15 fps and that’s why it doesn’t look as smooth as the other footage. The GoPro Black version which doesn’t have the touch screen will actually record at 30 fps in 4k. The Campark is recording at 25 fps. If you have a 4K screen check out the link above to view the footage uploaded in 4K. I didn’t make this entire video in 4K because I would have had to stretch all my 1080 video.
I was only able to take the camera down to a depth of 8 feet but I will be taking this free diving in the ocean to see how it handles in deeper water. So make sure to subscribe so you can check out that footage when I upload it.
The colored manual is easy to understand and has helpful pictures that show the various ways to mount your camera with all the accessories.
The GoPro is noticeably better with dark and light scenes, like when you have a shadow with a bright background. The Campark lacks detail in some situations.
The Campark adds a lot of saturation and sharpness to its footage automatically. If you don’t like touching up your video in post-production then this could be a good thing for you but if you’re like me and prefer to have more control when editing then this can be a slight problem.
To connect your phone to your camera just download the EZ iCam app, click the side button on your camera, and then click add devices and your phone will connect to the camera's WIFI.
It does come with a decent looking 2 inch LCD screen which is not touch screen like the GoPro but it does help a lot when setting up a shot and deleting footage on the go.
Overall, you’re getting good video and photo quality for the price and tons of accessories to attach this action camera almost anywhere. I think this makes a great backup camera to get extra angles when filming. Or when the shot is just too risky for your $400 GoPro. And if you own a GoPro you know that your friends always want to borrow it so now, I’ll slip them my Campark camera and not have to worry as much that they’ll take it underwater without the case on.
If you’re in the market for very affordable action camera I hope you found this video helpful! And while the quality is not up there with GoPro, it cost 4 times less, it does pack a lot of value for everything you’re getting.
The two included batteries are 1050mAh lipos and I found my camera lasting about 60 minutes.

No it does not destroy it. That dynamic range is an issue if you want to take panoramatic shots like this one.Losing too much detail in sky which is a no no

Nice video. Good to see both ends of the spectrum being tested head to head. But at the end of the day, I think I'd sleep better knowing I lost a $30-50 camera then a 200+ camera. I have one of the older GoPro's and though it's a decent cam, I would hate to loose it.
great review. extremely helpful. Just as point of note if its not already been mentioned. This campark isnt a true 4k camera. While the sony sensors they equip the cameras with do support 4k. They use either a Novatek NT96660 chipset for the Act68 then Allwinner v3 chipset for the 74 (and 76 too i think) and neither of those chipsets do 4k natively. What youre seeing is either interpolated 1080p or 1440p upscaled to 4k.
Just ordered a campark cant wait to start using it... couldnt afford a go pro but this will be a great entry for me on shooting video for my up coming channel

I have just bought a Campark x20 with touch screen, which is even better than the Campark ATC76 16mp reviewed here and it cost me £55 on Ebay. Ok, it may not be as good as a Go Pro, but for the average user, these cheaper action cameras are very good value for money. Personally, for the difference in picture quality, I can live with my Campark x20 and I would not spend more than £100 on any action camera, let alone the price of a Go Pro Hero 4. Most people just want a cheap alternative to a Go Pro, which everyone compares to as the benchmark when buying one of these cameras. I could buy three of these Campark's for the price of one Go Pro and still have enough money to buy extra spare batteries and a mains charger. I rest my case! Campark has now upped to the latest X30 model which is around the £100 mark, but I am satisfied with my X20 it does what I want and I only video in 1080p 30/60 fps, as most people do.

I used my 4k underwater a lot! Now i also use it on my car, as traffic incident camera. I have 2 spare batteries . I never tried to connect it to wifi because i have other cameras for surveillance.

The gopro looked much wider angled in the water. Were the settings the same? I noticed they looked similar in the air.
Would be nice to hear about angle of view comparison. I just got Campark Xtreme 1+ UHD, it advertises angle of view of 170 degrees as many other similar cameras, but I measured it - it is just 90 degrees!!! Cheating. What is the angle of view on GoPro? Did not find that number in any specs.
Is there color adjustments on the Campark at all? The flesh tones were yellow on the underwater shots. But the pool was a fake blue too. I liked the night footage would like to see how this acts with a live band for audio as well as the flashing stage lights.
I got the Maxxter ACT-AQCAM4K today (40 euro's as of today in Belgium in the Action stores), and I must say I'm very impressed by it. Of course not the same quality as the latest GoPro, but still..... I like it a lot. It does what it is supposed to do, and at high image quality (4K at 30 fps, which is pretty much impressive on its own already).

Question - what micro card to order?? I saw or read some where ultra fast 32., 64 did not work. Scan disk or samsung brand?? If i order from Axxxxxxx. the cards should be real and not fake, do you agree? Also, one guy stated that once card was removed and uploaded to computer, when card was returned to camera, file was no longer there. Have you heard of this. Should I get 2 cards
What you need is a class 10 memory card, I suggest the SanDisk, they are affordable and reliable

Your links go to two different links - the Campark ACT76 and the ACT74, which one are you using?
I'm using the ACT74. The only difference is the 76 has a front screen to view the settings.
I think it does, I'll test to make sure. I prefer shorter clips because if a clip gets corrupted for whatever reason, then you'll lose a small section of video. Even my higher end DSLR cameras will record in small chunks like this.

Will the Campark operate while it is powered by a USB port? I have a physical handicap and use a power wheelchair. I was wondering if I could power it with my wheelchair USB port and make videos longer than the battery power would allow.

It mounted on your drone? Did it need a special mount for the drone, or fit the drone provided mount? Did it work with your iPhone or iPad WiFi app while on the drone or you let it run, that's it?

Just got one of these and the video quality looks nothing like you posted here... is there something I'm missing? I have tried 4k, 2.7k and 1080p and they all look blurry like they are less than 720p. And the 16M pictures are just as bad...
I wonder if your settings are off. Try going into the menu and make sure your exposure it set to zero. If that doesn't help, try resetting (it's the last option in the menu). Is the lens clean? If that didn't solve it, I would return it because you might have a defective camera.

Hi Rosie. Try this:
1. Activate the wifi on your camera.
2. Go to the wifi settings on your phone and connect to it and enter the password.
3. turn your phone to airplane mode
4. turn on only the wifi on your phone and make sure it reconnects to the action cam.
5. Open the app on your phone, and you should see a list of wifi connections. Connect to the action cam.
6. It should go back to the main page and you should see what your camera sees on your phone. You can also download photos/video's from the camera straight to your phone.

Some of the accessories will work as long as you use the case that comes with the Campark camera. All the other mounts use the same size tightening screw and the screw that mounts to tripods is standard.

This camera is the same camera underneath many company names and yet everybody else is reviews do not have a video quality the same as yours. Also, this camera does not film in 4k, it films in 1080p and upgrades it to 4k. as for the image stabilization just about every single person's review shows that it does not really stabilize images at all. I don't understand how you got such a clear video when every video I've seen with this camera shows very grainy pictures.

Just read all these comments.. the campark says it is 4k but it isnt..this camera cannot record in real 4K. All the 4k recordings are interpolated

Sometimes the shell will be a clone but the inside components will be different. It's hard to say with electronics/cameras.
