Hello friends
This is super soft, spongy and delicious Custard cake. This is very easy to make with very few things at home. Kids love it. Do try this super simple recipe and share your comments.
~Ingredients~
Measuring cup used is of 200 ml capacity
Caketin used is of 8" diameter
Maida or refined flour- 1 and half cup
Yellow custard powder- 1/2 cup approx
Baking powder- 1 and half tsp
Milk- 1 cup and 2 tbsp
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Refined oil- 1/2 cup
Chopped cherries- for garnishing (optinal)

Made this cake yesterday. This is for the first time that we got a perfect cake. JUST ONE MODIFICATION- I added at least 1 cup more sugar. Thankyou for the recipe.

Tried this cake today. The cake turned out to be very soft , fluffy and tasty.
After going through the comments I had added 1/2 cup more sugar. Still the sweetness was less. Other than that it was perfect cake. All my family enjoyed it. Thanks!

Hi ,even I made the cake,it was a disaster. I hve added baking powder but the cake did not cooked in middle.it was very bad
Can I add eno insred if baking powder
If the cake doesnt turn out sweet enough as per your taste you can pour sugar syrup & the cake will absorb it.. best to do it while the cake is hot..
