@supercooloz13 a great shout, was thinking about putting the new TP5x against the previous version to see how much difference there is. Have you tried the Taylormade distance plus? Way cheaper than a tp5, obviously not as good feel and spin wise but surprisingly good!
I'm really curious about Mizuno balls. I didn't even know they made them until recently and decided to pick up a box to try. I had nothing bad to say about them at the end of my most recent round. It seemed like I walked away having lost less balls than I normally would and the course I was playing had water everywhere.
@@halecj1 I was very tempted to grab some last season after reading a few reviews about them. I think I was put off because although they were a bit cheaper than a pro v1 the reviews were saying they cut up very easily. I am keen to try some though. Wondering if it’s worth doing a group ball test video for some of the lesser knowns like mizuno, snell, seed, Kirkland, etc???
Yes I’ve used the bx - very long ball, had to exclude from this test due to time limitations. Again I think a head to head of those two would be interesting!
Isn’t it? Hard to believe I shot -2 and won a competition last week. It’s just driver, because of speed training I get too much height in backswing which means I have a lot of readjusting to do on the downswing. My coach is helping me undo some of the speed training. I’ll get there. Golf is hard!
I know. There’s still lots of them about though, and really decently priced too! They are one of my favourites so I have quite a few boxes stockpiled! Only just got hold of the new ones, guess I’ll have to do another test!
Totally agree, however they are cheaper than a pro v1. And this is the point, we all want the best but most of us don’t want to pay through the nose. I’m just highlighting a few options that are considerably cheaper and better. Also, I have got a new video coming soon which I think you may be very interested to see the results of! Budget balls with the driver. The winner entirely over performed - it was quite amazing!
@@DK_Golfertop response! I’m in the average swing speed (95mph driver) category, but high handicap. Currently play Titleist Velocity for help with distance and higher launch from the tee, but looking and softer options with more control (AD333, SuperSoft, etc) ideally without sacrificing distance.
Love the velocity. I actually put that into a test with some other budget balls using my 7 iron. I’ll put the link below as there were some other really good budget options too. In the upcoming video I mentioned I think I used the velocity in that too to get results with driver…. Looks like I need to get that thing edited and out ASAP!
If there is anyone out there that has a specific golf ball in mind they want testing let me know!
The 2024 TaylorMade tp5x would be the ball I’d like to see you test vs these other balls. Thanks

@@DK_Golfer I’ll give them a try thanks

Bridgestone Tour B X & XS are good

Subbed
Appreciate it!
Crime soft x LS is discontinued

Also, I wish there was a ball called the crime soft!! Should copyright that!
“Best Affordable Premium Golf Ball”?
- yeah, these are premium golf balls, but they don’t represent the affordable end of the spectrum

In fact which is your fav ball? Let me know so that next time I do a ball test video I can put it in! Appreciate your comment! Cheers!

TaylorMade Noodle for me - helps me drill it 300+ every time!
