- Heroes to Hives, a Michigan State University Extension program, is helping Michigan’s veterans heal through beekeeping. Adam Ingrao, a fourth-generation Army veteran and MSU Extension agricultural entomologist, founded the program in 2015.

Great idea to get vets involved with restoring bee populations in North America. Great stuff!

I need some help with determining what to expect or charge a solar field operator for placing and maintaining an apiary on the solar property. Please let me know if any has already been involved and what compensation terms are being negotiated?
Is this something we could do online? We have a big garden here in Brussels and would love to see a bee colony here.
Yes a large portion of the program is online. Any veteran or active duty US military personnel can be part of the program no matter where they are in the world.

Why not just support Hives To Heroes instead of starting splinter groups like this? What makes this better? Why not just support the national program. Plus, the name is too similar.
