The steal pin sticks up to high to close the lid on the possessor ! Can’t close the lid .

I have the 5.5 qt SM-55. Is the blender attachment compatible with this model?

I have all the attachments, but the food processor is noisy like a turbo jet. The blender is awesome. I haven't used the pasta maker as I have a Philips pasta maker that is much easier to use. The citrus juicer is OK.
