- This Top to Bottom Les Arcs Piste Guide uses a detailed Les Arcs map and first person perspective to take you from Col de la Chal (2600m) to Peisey (Vanoise Express) (1600m) via varied pistes (easy, intermediate and advanced pistes).
The pistes are: Grand Renard (red ski run), Forêt (blue ski run) and Écureuils (black ski run). This video includes blue, red and black ski runs - so something for everyone!

What I love about these kind of videos, is they show people who haven't skied that run before, what the run really looks like so there are no nasty surprises when the people who haven't skied it do ski it.
Glad it's helpful 🙂
Vallandry has the best slopes of Paradiski. Forêt is a blast, including on the summer when you can ride it or walk it.
Can't agree more. I went here for 38 years (lived close to Grenoble and did ski club for several years and now live closed to Lyon). I even was there couple of days ago. My preferred one is "'L'Aigle".
Damn, this makes me wish I could have gone there again this year
very well shot. just what is needed to show the skiing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Which area has easy and snow sure offpiste ?
Did this run first thing in the morning two weeks ago, but the black Ecureuils run near the end hadn't been pisted!! It was all chopped up from the day before and had about 30cms of fresh powder on top. To say it was fun would be a massive understatement. ⛷️
Thanks for the video. Clear filming & instruction. Partner & I will try it out in 10 weeks time. She will get to see the video after the event😊.
Cheers! Glad it helped you out! Have an awesome trip 👍
Nice shooting! Just came back from Paradiski, next year we go again! if buy a paradiski ticket within couple of hours you go to 2glaciers, probably the best resort that i ve ever been as a skier for 25 years.....just want to try for couple days 3valleys next year. France for skiing forever!!!!!!!!!!!
France us epic for skiing eh. Glad you had a great trip!
@@AdventuresOutHere It wasnt the first time, and definitely not the last time!! Feels like home every january when we pop on the slopes with happy faces:))))).. Allt he best pal!
Great footage! How steep is Ecureuils actually? I didn't do any black runs when I was in Les Arcs this February, with what being new to all this. But when we were in Austria the month before that, there were "red" runs that seemed way steeper than what this looks like. By tree angle anyway. Maybe the camera perspective throws it off. (IMO even some Austrian blues were what went for red in Les Arcs.)
It was steeper than the reds but yeah, all runs can vary, within the same resort and from country to country.
Going soon wanted to know what it look like really
Glad the videos helped. We'll have a few more coming out in the next week or so.
Hey great and super stable video ! What camera setup did you use and (if it is a GoPro or other action camera) what kind of settings did you use to get good contrast and colors? Thanks !
Cheers. It's a Feiyu gimbal and Go Pro 7. We shoot in flat then colour grade in post. An older Go Pro works great on the gimbal too.
@@AdventuresOutHere Thanks for the info !! :D mind me asking what your protune settings on the gopro were?
Well it depends on lighting conditions....what are you wanting to film?
@@AdventuresOutHere Pretty much the same thing here, ski holidays in the French alpes and just want to possibly make a few fun videos in the snow with our gopro and gimbal !
@@AdventuresOutHere Thanks ! The white balance is definitely the trickiest part to get right for me. Yes, to Les Arcs in fact next month and haven't done much filming in snowy conditions so can't wait to try it out. A video on it would be awesome ! Thanks again
