@tavencreager2037 I was using custom network settings. I cleared them back to automatic and then restarted Mt xbox. Now it's fixed

It's the same for me I just bought a new wifi card and replaced it with the old one and it worked

Hey guys quick trick If this video didnt work for you just try unplugging your xbox from electricity and after couple of seconds plug it back in, it should work, it worked for me
If you have any external devices connected(a storage usb, etc) disconnect it and restart your Xbox then try to connect again…that worked for me
This happens all the time and it’s only with my Xbox. My PlayStation four and my switch literally never have this issue nor do any other devices in my house. Pretty annoying really
My Xbox one x never had issues until the recent update it just had. I tried this and it told me to verify the connection. It brings up a page and it tells me the page will close once I am connected. Now this works for a very limited time once I do it. Then I’m back to square one. I’m fucking frustrated and I’m about to just smash my Xbox. I have never had issues with internet connectivity until this last software update.

Also sometimes it doesn’t give u the options of each network so if u just simply restart the Xbox it will work
I managed to do a hard reset unplug the cord waited 5 minutes hook it back up everything's working perfectly

I lost power in my house, and I'm trying to reconnect everything, and everything works besides my Xbox. Even though it says I'm connected to the internet, I tried the steps in this video, but nothing comes up for games or in my library. I'm connected to the by wired connection, and i tried doing wireless, but it's not letting me connect by wireless connection either.

@trudypalmer-qj6qp I got my solution after my Xbox finally worked with internet after almost 2 years,
Use the manual DNS he gave, then restart, but then change the DNS back to automatic and restart again or wait for a little bit, and it will start working again. It might still have the "check xbox connection" box on the home menu, but try loading into an online game and it will work

Also wanted to let you know when you go to network settings the “ forget wireless network “ does not show up if you are not connected to the internet in the first place just an fyi. the only thing that helps me with my series s when this issue happens is typing the password in until it finally decides to take it, restarting the xbox in between 5 or more tries. hope it helps man

Mine was working fine for ages, always had it connected via ethernet. It then stopped working so I tried everything from resetting the router and xbox, to going onto wireless. It keeps flashing between 'getting Nat type info - all services are fine' and 'these services are unavailable' I'm about 2 seconds away from throwing this thing out the window

@@Toinegocrxy Nope ended up randomly getting console banned and now my xbox is useless cant play any games just sit on the home screen and xbox wont do anything besides if i pay them $150 they will unban my console dumbest thing ever.

Still won’t connect. Tried to forget network, and then re connect. It won’t read any networks nearby to connect to. Tried manually typing ssid and still didn’t find the network. Assuming the part that allows the Xbox to connect to the internet is fried?

If you’ve tried everything to fix this issue *AND* you have a WiFi booster plugged in, then try to reset the WiFi booster, because the booster can sometimes glitch out and interfere with the connection from your WiFi to your Xbox.
Hopefully this’ll help some of you out as it’s just completely fixed the problem for me.

So, I got this problem:
Yesterday my internet went briefly off for a bit of rain, but nothing much, as always returned and every device in the home re-connected, but not my xbox.
Additionally, this happened as I was turning on my Xbox, as it took quite some seconds to turn on.
Afterward, my situation is this:
- It can see my (wireless) internet/router
- doesn't accept the password, over and over, even after trying to change the router's password
I tried everything, even contact the Microsoft service but nothing, mostly because they don't answere.
I'll try see what to do, but as of now my Xbox don't even connect to the internet at all for... reasons

Also!! I just tried something random and it worked for me! All the same issues but I decided to hit go offline. It stayed on a loading screen so I restarted the console. Once it restarted it’ll give you the option to go back online. Hit that and everything went back to normal
After you do the DNS restart you xbox again and it should work

@superb-ryce9242 got a hold of Microsoft and they did a test, come to find out its a hardware problem. Have to send it in for they're services. Unfortunately. 😢

@superb-ryce9242 sadly if u want to find out if u can get it fixed cheap. It's a free call to Microsoft. They can run tests for free n can fix it for u through they're system or they'll tell u what's wrong with it n it'll have to be sent in for repairs by their technicians.

Just restart your console I did that immediately and it worked no need in doing the other nonsense if your Wi-Fi is working on your phone it’s not your router it’s your xbox

I think it's a hardware issue bc I've had this for 5 years
After so many troubleshooting i literally just turned off sleep mode and went to power saving instead, turned off and turned it back on and i was able to connect.
